CHAPTER 1512: CHAPTER 27: THE TRIPARTITE BALANCE OF POWER
Federal Center, Twin Trees Star Domain.
A myriad of stars twinkle in the night sky, forming a dazzling illusory sun, releasing an aura similar to the Red Lotus Crown.
Under the illumination of this crown formed by the stars, the red clouds originally covering the entire sky began to dissipate, forming a distinct dividing line in the sky, one side tinged with red, the other a pale cyan white.
The two sides remained at an impasse, facing off from afar in the sea of stars, the brilliance of the two crowns intersecting, creating chaotic ripples in this Star Domain.
Time slowly passed, and the friction of authority between the two grew increasingly intense. White, cyan, and crimson flames began to fall from the sky, and some asteroids in the Star Domain were torn apart by the intersecting force fields.
Seeing that the conflict between the two sides was about to affect the ’World Tree’ inhabited planet, the stationed Fourth Fleet issued a notice, hoping the two would quickly quell their dispute and enter negotiations. If either side failed to comply after two stellar time units, they would join the other to suppress it.
After this warning was issued, the conflict between the two sides finally began to abate, and the strange glow in the sky gradually faded away, returning everything on the planet to normal.
Days later, news of this conflict spread throughout the Federation, becoming known to all. Half a month later, formal negotiations were held on the ’World Tree’ inhabited planet, attended not only by representatives of the ’Children of the Stars’ alliance but also by major factions from the Central Star Domain and representatives from various Star Regions and Domains.
At the meeting, some accused the faction Prin Coco belonged to of being too violent, causing great harm to the Federation’s elves. Such remarks received support from representatives of the ’Children of the Stars’ alliances from the southeast, west, and north Star Regions.
As a result, under pressure from all sides, Prin Coco’s faction had to yield many seats in the Federal Central Council, relinquishing those recently taken from the elf factions.
Subsequently, the allocation of seats in the Federal Congress became: 46% occupied by human factions from the Central Star Domain, 18% by the Children of the Stars alliance, 30% by various major Star Regions, and 6% by other neutral forces. Previously, the elf factions held 26%, but now their seats were entirely excluded, mostly inherited by the Children of the Stars alliance, with a small portion swallowed by human factions.
Through the protest of the Children of the Stars alliance and the support from major Star Regions, the bill previously issued to deprive elves of their property and land was canceled. However, as a concession, the human factions from the Central Star Domain stated that they would not compensate for the destruction and losses caused to the elves during this period, as it was a correct execution of federal law.
Despite the dissatisfaction from all sides, each feeling the result was a humiliation, the balance of power had formed a delicate equilibrium, and no one could break it alone, so they had to compromise in the end.
Apart from political struggles and mediations, the technological prowess displayed by the Children of the Stars alliance caught the enviable and keen interest of all forces, sparking huge discussions within the Federation.
"Why has the federation’s technology been stagnant for the past few centuries?"
"Why are the Children of the Stars always superior to the Children of Men?"
"Why was there no prior indication of this, and was the deliberate concealment of technological advancement by the Children of the Stars a betrayal of the Federation?"
"What is this illusory sun constructed by the stars, and does this mean humanity has embarked on a new path, a path to strength without relying on ’Songstresses’?"
After the power display by the Children of the Stars alliance, discussions erupted like boiling water in a cauldron, fervent and unceasing.

Four-leaf Crystal Star Domain, Jade Skirt, Gladiolus Manor.
In the brightly lit courtyard, Blood Clan maids were occasionally seen passing by, conducting their routine activities and patrolling the surroundings.
In the second-floor room of the mansion, Tilan and Ores sat on the pale woven sofa, the two leaning against each other, covered with a thin blanket over their legs, watching the projected images and visuals ahead.
"Evelyn survived, huh."
Ores said with some happiness. She wasn’t too concerned about the complex and treacherous politics of today, but worried about the beautiful and gentle Songstress elder sister she had met before.
"Yes, but now, the Central Star Domain must be a tangled mess." Tilan pondered.
According to the original plan, despite short-term chaos, after Prin Coco’s faction had formed an overwhelming advantage, it should have stabilized quickly.
Now it was like a half-built, abandoned project, striking at the elf factions but not completely severing them or moving forward. This left the groups supporting Prin Coco’s faction extremely frustrated, as if spitting blood.
Although the elf factions survived, their situation was far from good, with substantial asset loss being unavoidable, and many of the interests they held before had to be surrendered.
The Children of the Stars alliance should be the biggest winners. They seized a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, rising swiftly and gaining the highest powers in the Federation, securing a large number of seats in the council. In the past, the Children of the Stars always remained outside of mainstream discussions, with no significant influence. This was not because of their weakness but due to their scattered presence, fragmented and distributed throughout the peripheral edges of the Federation, not forming a system.
For the various Star Regions, this was also welcome news, as this internal conflict further eroded the influence of the Central Star Domain’s major forces, but what was worrying was that the rise of the ’Children of the Stars’ alliance exceeded many people’s expectations, causing an unexpected panic.
