Miss Witch Doesn't Want to be a Diva
Chapter 1513 27: The Tripartite Balance of Power
Teasing the internal conflict of the Central Star Domain is one thing, but if such an event occurred on our side, it wouldn't be as amusing.
Even though it is not possible to openly interrogate and investigate the causes and intelligence of the Children of the Stars Alliance, actions are inevitably taken by all parties in private.
The two of them watched the news broadcasts and the feedback from various Star Regions. Occasionally, Tilan would explain to Ores the reasons and causes behind these news stories. Though Ores listened attentively at first, she soon began to avoid it.
"It's so complicated, Ores can't understand." She leaned her head on Tilan, pressing against the thin blanket, using a coquettish tone to express a hope that Tilan would stop talking.
"Alright, that's all for today." Tilan stroked Ores' smooth silver hair, letting her rest on her leg, while she continued to ponder the various changes that the rise of the 'Children of the Stars' had brought to the Federation.
First and foremost, it broke the iron rule that the Federation must be guided by a Songstress. That Sun, constructed by stars, appeared like an alternate path, bringing hope to many groups that had previously lingered outside the mainstream.
Songstresses are rare, after all, and there are too many powerful group forces surrounding them. Ordinary small factions and organizations have no access to them, nor the capital to collaborate with a Songstress, and have always simply looked on enviously. But this time, the unique technology displayed by the 'Children of the Stars' seems to have shattered the Federation Upper Echelon's monopoly on Songstress resources, opening a new path.
It is foreseeable that this technology will be favored by countless new forces, who will go to great lengths to learn and use it to counter the Songstress-dominated power of the Federation.
Secondly, the fighter jets sweeping across the heavens are also a dazzling focal point. If such superluminal travel technology is popularized, does it mean that the cost and expenses of interstellar transport will be greatly reduced? This would completely change the structure of civilization, rendering resources, previously of little value due to distance and high extraction costs, immensely valuable again, and at the same time altering trade methods, restructuring the current economic environment.
At this moment, even Tilan feels that the future of the Federation is shrouded in overwhelming tidal waves, making it difficult to discern direction.
"The Children of the Stars really have broken the situation this time..."
Recalling past encounters with the Children of the Stars, the most memorable time was in high school, when she and a group of classmates went to "Crystal Lattice Academy" for an exchange.
"Welcome to Crystal Lattice Academy, Tilan. We are the successors of the 'Forward Era', the admirers of the 'Sacred Truth', spiritual inheritors of the 'Cloud of Tracing' faction." At the time, President Ed's words echoed again in her ears.
Unlike the residents of the Federation living on planetary grounds, most of the Children of the Stars live in space. They are born in various space stations, accustomed from a young age to a zero-gravity environment, living in various modular spaces, used to everything being described with precise data.
In the traditional concepts or common cognition of the 'Children of Man', flowers flourish on the ground, trees in forests bear fruit, and various animals run freely across the world.
But to the Children of the Stars, the world does not appear this way. Plants grow in properly blended solutions with a formula (in milligram per liter): Calcium Nitrate 950, Potassium Nitrate 810, Magnesium Sulfate 500, Ammonium Dihydrogen Phosphate 155, EDTA Iron Sodium Salt 15-25, Boric Acid 3, Manganese Sulfate 2, Zinc Sulfate 0.22, Copper Sulfate 0.05, Sodium Molybdate or Ammonium Molybdate 0.02. As long as sufficient light and nutrients are provided, plants can grow in any cultivation vessel.
To the Children of Man, breathing requires no deliberate attention, but the Children of the Stars are very aware of the component ratios of air, consciously adjusting oxygen levels to enhance work and study efficiency, and regulating carbon dioxide concentration in the room to fall asleep quickly.
In the world of the Children of Man, many things have romantic and vague imagery, but in the view of the Children of the Stars, the world should be clear, consisting of various components or essential parts.
The world is a vast land, and travel is the experience and learning from one land to another, this is the concept of the Children of Man.
The world is comprised of different small islands, as long as these islands have 'Life Support Modules' and 'Power Modules', people can survive. Adding in 'Residence Modules', 'Education Modules', and 'Dining Modules', people can live happily, this is the knowledge and concept of the Children of the Stars.
If the concepts and customs of the Children of Man still retain much instinct and romantic sensibility brought by biological evolution, the Children of the Stars significantly tend towards rationality. They prefer a clearly divided, orderly world.
"If this superluminal technology is promoted, then the limited resource issues of the 'Children of the Stars' space stations will be greatly alleviated, and humanity can expand their range of activity significantly, perhaps even stepping beyond the Milky Way." Tilan murmured softly, envisioning potential future scenarios.
However, it must be said, her influence among the Children of the Stars is indeed not high, as the residents benefiting from the Dragon Vein System are essentially all Children of Man. Certainly, a system set up in space stations isn't feasible, the required space is too large, and the cost is way too high, the cost-effectiveness is extremely low.
Better to have more interactions with them in the future, Tilan thought.

Time flies by rapidly.
With the rise of the Children of the Stars Alliance, this previously niche group is attracting more and more attention, sparking the curiosity of many planetary surface residents towards the 'Children of the Stars' among the stars. Experiential tourism of various space stations is beginning to gain popularity within the Federation, and the lifestyle details, habits, traditions, cultural styles of the 'Children of the Stars' are trending, often associated with symbols of 'advancement' and 'science'.
After months of difficult integration, the various old forces of the Federal Central Council have grudgingly accepted this emerging faction's rise, and various proposals concerning the Children of the Stars frequently appear in council discussions.
To better utilize this advanced space propulsion technology, many planets and Star Domains previously abandoned due to poor development conditions are being utilized. The Children of the Stars faction has poured a lot of resources and personnel into these projects, believing that their development will not only revive the Fed's economy but also gradually expand the influence of the Children of the Stars in the Federation, ultimately changing the course of human civilization.
For a time, these projects have become the most focused points within the Federation. Many consider them comparable to the 'Jade Dragon' project, a large-scale economic development and revitalization project, and not just in the Central Star Region; other Star Regions are expressing their intent to send observation groups to participate in the development, to learn.
The year comes to an end, and after half a year of turmoil, the Federation finally regains stability. The development plans of the Children of the Stars Alliance are proceeding smoothly. They have also formed a powerful organizational alliance, following the 'Jade Dragon', to manage the numerous personnel and involved parties of these plans.
After deliberation, this newly formed organization is called 'Radiant Stars'. 'Stars' need no explanation, representing both the form of the Children of the Stars and their project vision, while 'Radiant' expresses the idea of illuminating the stars, and also commemorates Radiant Star Alanna, a key figure in the founding of the 'Children of the Stars' Alliance, whose small discovery with companions eventually became the founding stone of the Alliance.
Subsequently, major groups in the Central Star Domain began to negotiate with the Children of the Stars Alliance, offering to invest and provide personnel resources for the 'Radiant Stars' organization. These efforts aim to withstand the immense pressure brought by the 'Jade Dragon', restore confidence in the Central Star Region's populace and capital, and by participating, enable major corporate capital to avoid further devaluation and instead gain a new growth point.
Faced with proposals from the united group forces of the Central Star Domain, the Children of the Stars Alliance ultimately chose to agree. On one hand, they indeed lack manpower and resources, as the Children of the Stars comprise less than 5% of the Federation's population, and the resources of the various space stations are far less abundant than those controlled by the Children of Man on planets. On the other hand, collaboration with these group forces can greatly eliminate conflict and allow the relatively weak Children of the Stars Alliance to quickly strengthen.
Thereafter, the Federal Central Council was predominantly controlled by the 'Fire Lotus - Radiant Star' united factions, regaining control of most seats in the Federal Central Council, suppressing the steps toward independence by various Star Regions, and, through the project plans of the 'Radiant Stars' organization, reuniting many scattered Star Regions, binding them with the Central Star Domain.
History's wheels roll forward, and after years of turbulent change, a tripartite balance forms within the Federation, comprised of the 'Fire Lotus - Radiant Star' united faction led by Prin Coco, the western 'Rose Court' led by Blanchi, and the 'Jade Dragon' organized by Hexia Tilan in the Southern Star Region.
The three sides have their respective cores, constantly reallocating resources under their command, gradually embarking on different developmental paths.
