CHAPTER 248: CHAPTER 248: SOPHIA, IT TURNS OUT YOUR CHILD IS ALREADY MARRIED...
He had someone find her address, rushed there immediately with his men, but ended up with nothing.
The woman actually escaped with her entire family.
When Samber called him, he was at the home of the hotel lobby manager.
When Neal Galan returned, Adrian Davies was still standing there, imposing as a pine.
And the gun in his hand still fiercely pressed against David Galan’s head.
Neal Galan approached, questioning coldly, "Adrian Davies, what are you doing?"
Adrian turned his head, his cold eyes staring at Neal, "Hand over Melody, and I won’t hold anything against you!"
Neal met Adrian’s gaze, and replied coldly, "Let him go, Melody is not in his hands!"
"Ha, not in his hands." Adrian didn’t believe it, his murderous gaze fixed on Neal, demanding coldly, "Didn’t he have his men take Melody to Y Country?"
Neal nodded, "Yes, he had Melody captured."
After speaking, he suddenly changed his tone and continued, "But this time, he absolutely didn’t take Melody away."
Adrian looked coldly at Neal, silent, waiting for his explanation.
"He is arrogant and dictatorial by nature. If he had sent people to capture Melody, he would’ve done it directly. Just like getting Melody from Fland to Y Country, he certainly wouldn’t leave such a letter behind!"
Neal looked at Adrian, finishing his analysis, then directly stated firmly, "So, the person who took Melody is definitely not him, but someone else."
As Neal finished speaking, Ned Faris and the others walked in from outside.
They looked at Adrian and shook their heads.
Neal looked at Adrian and spoke coldly again, "Even if you kill him, it won’t help. Finding Melody is the priority now!"
As time ticked away, six hours had passed since receiving Daniel Davies’s message about Melody’s disappearance.
Adrian was burning with anxiety, wishing to kill with each passing second.
If it wasn’t for this damned man abducting Melody, she wouldn’t be in such danger.
Adrian’s pupils were filled with killing intent, ready to pull the trigger and end David’s life the next second.
Seeing Adrian’s murderous intent, Neal urgently spoke, "Adrian, doing this will only worsen the feud between the two families and tensions between the two countries! Not only won’t you rescue Melody, but you will also hinder the search and rescue time!"
Adrian’s gun pressed hard against David’s head; one second, two seconds, then he finally put down the gun.
He looked at Neal, his cold gaze slightly narrowing, "Melody better not be harmed, or else..."
Neal looked at Adrian, "The person who sent the letter has already fled, and my people are pursuing."
After speaking, Neal added, "My forces in Y Country are fully deployed, as long as Melody is still here, we will definitely find her!"
"Hmph!" Adrian snorted coldly, threatening deeply, "Stay away from Melody in the future!"
With that, he strode out.
Seeing Adrian come out of the Galan estate, Benjamin Parker and Daniel Davies immediately looked at him nervously, "Daddy..."
Adrian shook his head, "Did not find your mummy."
After speaking, he reached out to embrace the two children, soothing gently, "But don’t worry, Daddy has had Locke bring people over, even if we turn Y Country upside down, we will find your mummy! Plus, Daddy is going to see the Y Country queen right now for an explanation."
Benjamin nodded, "Yes, we will go with Daddy."
At 3:20 a.m., Y Country’s palace.
Mrs. Amelia gently knocked on the queen’s bedroom door, "Queen, Director Davies of the Davies Group visits late at night, saying he has urgent matters to discuss with you."
With Amelia’s soft call, the beauty inside the bedroom opened her eyes, "Adrian Davies? What urgent matter does he have to visit at night? Let him wait, I know."
Adrian’s mummy was once the queen’s most trusted aide, saving the queen’s life but died young, harmed by someone. The queen knew Adrian well.
Five minutes later, Queen Angelina elegantly stepped out of the room.
She wore a white fishtail gown that fit perfectly, her golden hair cascading naturally over her slender waist.
As she moved, her golden tresses floated gently like waves.
She had a strong brow with a rare female boldness.
Her emerald eyes were like deep spring waters reaching one’s soul, her features are pronounced and deep—a typical Western beauty.
Though at her seventies, time had not left a heavy mark on her.
From her appearance, she seemed to be just a vibrant woman in her fifties.
She looked at Mrs. Amelia, her voice not loud, yet authoritative, "Where are they?"
Amelia nodded respectfully, "Reporting to the queen, Director Davies is outside."
"Hmm, invite them in," the queen instructed softly before turning to the reception room.
"Yes, Queen." Amelia responded respectfully and turned to leave.
To have the queen’s personal reception, especially so late at night, meant Adrian held great importance in her heart, because of his mother Sophia, and Adrian was her only child.
Soon, Amelia led Adrian and his two sons into the reception room.
Seeing the trio emitting coldness, Queen Angelina was momentarily stunned.
But only for that moment.
Quickly recovering, she wore a dignified and elegant smile, "Director Davies, visiting so late, is there something important?"
Adrian nodded, "Yes, Queen Angelina."
Then he spoke coldly, "Your country’s David Galan took my woman, Melody Parker. I request an explanation from the queen."
"David took your woman?" The queen questioned, frowning suspiciously, "Why would he take your woman?"
"He thinks my woman is his son’s fiancée." Adrian said coldly, then disdainfully added, "Ha! As if his son is worthy!"
Benjamin’s obsidian eyes gazed at the queen, then he spoke coldly, "Uncle Galan has always liked my mummy, but his father cannot just use that as an excuse to take my mummy! Your Majesty, please help me get my mummy back!"
Daniel nodded in agreement, his icy gaze fixed on the queen, waiting for a reasonable explanation.
The queen looked at the trio, delight in her eyes. Sophia, your child has a family now and two adorable treasures.
