Chapter 1179: 1153, Side Story 17 (35) Chapter 1179: 1153, Side Story 17 (35) It has been over a month since Jian Luo along with three others went abroad for a skiing vacation, and Xi An’an started to get busy with her world tour.

The first location was in Y Country.

The night before leaving, Xi An’an fully experienced someone’s extraordinary stamina; he truly knew nothing of the word “restraint.”

Xi An’an sat on the bed and watched a man pacing back and forth nearby, her pale, delicate face still flushed, her eyebrows carrying a hint of annoyance amid their curvature.

She pursed her lips, doubting whether she could even catch a flight to Y Country tomorrow.

“Call me as soon as you land tomorrow, don’t forget,” Quan Tianqi placed folded clothes into the suitcase, the image of a perfect domestic partner.

“I won’t call you,” Xi An’an playfully contradicted him.

Quan Tianqi chuckled, remembering that he had yet to pack a medicine box, and turned to look for it. “An’an, are you hinting that I should go with you tomorrow?”

Xi An’an scoffed, “Don’t flatter yourself.”

Having packed the luggage, Quan Tianqi walked over to her and had just sat down when his large hand pulled her along with the blanket into his embrace.

“Upset, are you?” he whispered against her smooth forehead, a sly smile gracing his lips.

Xi An’an swatted his hand away, huffing, “Keep your distance from me.”

“Distance?” Quan Tianqi smiled, leaning in closer, “Is this distance enough, hmm?”

Their breaths intertwined as they looked up at each other.

After a few seconds of eye contact, Xi An’an admitted defeat.

“It’s getting late, I should sleep, or else I might miss the flight tomorrow.” She found an excuse to avoid his tempting gaze.

“I’ll drive you to the airport tomorrow.” Spoiling his wife just right, Quan Tianqi finally stood up, his slender, jade-like fingers threading through her ink-black hair.

“Eat meals on time, don’t chat or dine alone with other men, and I’ll come over after sorting out the company’s affairs.”

“So overbearing?” Xi An’an giggled.

Quan Tianqi lightly tapped her nose, “Yes, just that overbearing.”

The overbearing nature was a genetic inheritance visible in his family, from his parents.

In the early morning, the airport wasn’t very crowded.

Having slept late the night before, Xi An’an was dazed all the way, her sleepy appearance almost making Quan Tianqi want to take her back home.

“Mr. Quan.” Xu Ran was already at the airport, and from a distance saw Quan Tianqi with one hand pulling a suitcase and the other holding Xi An’an, who seemed half-asleep.

Xu Ran took the suitcase from Quan Tianqi’s hand, exchanged a few words with Xi An’an, and then very perceptively went ahead into the VIP passage to wait for her.

Quan Tianqi tightened his grip slightly, and Xi An’an collided into his arms, his large hand protecting her forehead so she wasn’t hurt.

She lazily yawned, her eyes rippling with light, “Seventeen, remember to have dinner even if you work late, if you get a stomach ache because you didn’t eat on time, I won’t care about you.”

Quan Tianqi’s lips curved slightly, tapping her forehead gently, “Got it, watch your step after getting off the plane, don’t bump into people again.”

He hadn’t forgotten their first two meetings.

Catching the teasing in his words, Xi An’an glanced at him sideways, “I’m not a three-year-old child, I’m leaving, won’t talk to you.”

“Wait.”

Quan Tianqi held her back, “You forgot something.”

“Hmm?” Xi An’an was puzzled.

Quan Tianqi just smiled silently, then stepped forward, his lips meeting hers.

Not far off, Xu Ran hid by the door, watching their sweet and tender moment, covering her mouth and giggling.

“The air conditioning on the plane is cold, remember to take a blanket with you,” Quan Tianqi helped her put on her hat, his fingertips caressing her cheek.

“Go on, I’ll watch you enter before I leave.”

Xi An’an nodded and turned to leave.

Suddenly, she stopped, ran back swiftly.

Quan Tianqi smiled, and Xi An’an crashed into his arms, standing on tiptoes and tightly hugging his neck.

“Meanie Seventeen, I’ll try not to think about you.”

She said, and then turned to run into the VIP passage.

A contradictory ditz.

Quan Tianqi chuckled deeply, watching her slender figure disappear from his sight before he reluctantly left.

On the plane, Xi An’an intended to catch up on sleep but was caught by Xu Ran to discuss matters related to the tour.

“It seems your married life is quite blissful.”

Xi An’an coughed lightly, picking up the documents from the table and pretending to browse through, “Sister Xu, there are some issues about the tour I don’t understand.”

Seeing her avoidance, Xu Ran smiled knowingly, skillfully steering the conversation back to the tour.

After disembarking, Xu Ran pushed the luggage cart and looked at the person beside her busy making a phone call, shaking her head helplessly with a smile.

She said she wouldn’t think of him, yet her actions betrayed her.

Newlyweds, glued together as expected.

“An’an, our car is here.”

“Okay, coming.”

Xi An’an hastily exchanged a few words with Quan Tianqi, then quickly hung up the phone, “He’s here.”

The hotel they stayed at in Y Country was under JK International, and without a doubt, it was easy to guess who arranged it. Xu Ran teased Xi An’an a lot when she first found out.

Putting down the suitcase and having sat on the plane all day, Xi An’an felt like her whole body was falling apart. After soaking in a hot bath and just lying down on the bed, Quan Tianqi called.

“Are you heading to the office this early?” she asked softly.

On the other end, Quan Tianqi was drinking coffee, his gaze landing on the piano in the living room, a faint smile curling the corner of his lips.

He hummed softly, “Did you eat something on the plane? Are you hungry?”

“I did eat, but it wasn’t very good,” Xi An’an replied softly.

She never really cared for airplane food.

Quan Tianqi’s brows slightly furrowed, “Wait five minutes. I’ll have someone send you something to eat, also, remember to dry your hair before you sleep.”

“My hair is already dry,” Xi An’an touched her still damp hair, feeling a bit guilty.

“Xi An’an, if you dare catch a cold, I’ll make Azhan give you the bitterest pills,” he said, not so easily fooled.

Hearing the word “pills,” especially the bitter ones, Xi An’an immediately caved, “I’m going to dry my hair now, let’s talk tomorrow,” and then she hung up.

After being hung up on, Quan Tianqi narrowed his eyes slightly, his yearning for a certain baffled ghost intensified.

The tour was quickly being prepared, and Xi An’an also met someone she greatly admired.

Across from her, the man was in a white shirt, casually buttoned and his sleeves loosely rolled up, adding a touch of laziness and unruliness to his movements.

His slender eyes slightly squinted, his smile gentle. Jian Luo took a sip of coffee, raising his eyes and chuckling lightly upon seeing the delight in the eyes of the person across him.

“You look at me like this, Seventeen might get jealous.”

Xi An’an scratched her head, feeling a bit embarrassed, that word “uncle” still felt somewhat awkward, “Uncle, are you here for a visit too?”

Thinking of something, Jian Luo smiled mysteriously, “Sort of. Why are you alone? Where’s Seventeen?”

Xi An’an said, “There’s some business at the company, he’s quite busy these days.”

It really was busy, just not with company matters though. Jian Luo lightly raised an eyebrow, “Are you here for a trip?”

Xi An’an shook her head, “My tour is starting, and here is the first battle.”

“If you encounter any difficult issues, just come to me, I’m familiar with Y Country,” Jian Luo said, and then, changing his gaze, he pulled out his phone to activate the camera feature.

“An’an, look here, let’s take a photo,” he held up the phone, and Xi An’an looked slightly bewildered towards him.

“A photo together?”

“Want to see Seventeen hopping mad?” Jian Luo said cheerfully, “It’s quite amusing.”

Hearing this, Xi An’an first paused, then nodded.

Jian Luo casually snapped a photo of the two of them, then directly sent it privately to Quan Tianqi.

Then, he put down the phone, leisurely sipping his coffee.

Within a minute, Quan Tianqi replied instantly.

“Uncle, gossiping isn’t your style.”

Jian Luo picked up his phone, glanced at the message, and smirked, such a cheeky kid, no manners.

He didn’t reply to the message, instead, he started chatting with Xi An’an.

Mostly about Seventeen’s childhood, Xi An’an listened with great interest.

Having been in Y Country for almost a week, Xi An’an suddenly found it agonizing to miss someone.

Every time she tasted something delicious or saw something fun, she felt an urgent desire to share it with him first thing.

“An’an, how many times have you zoned out now?” Xu Ran knocked on the table, calling her back to reality.

Xi An’an gave an embarrassed laugh, “Sorry, Sister Xu.”

“Focus, and not always think about your man,” Xu Ran joked.

Hit right where her feelings were, Xi An’an showed a shy smile.

“By the way, who are you planning to invite as a guest for this tour? Have you decided on someone?” Xu Ran asked.

“Munch.”

“Are you sure your Mr. Jealous won’t overturn the vinegar jar?”

You see, before An’an got together with Quan Tianqi, people in the circle really liked the idea of her and Munch together since both are highly proficient in music—she in piano and Munch in violin. They were good friends and sometimes would even make surprise appearances in each other’s tours.

“Uh…” Xi An’an choked.

It should be fine, right?

“You’re inviting Munch, and there might inevitably be reporters writing speculative pieces, don’t you need to give a heads-up to your man?” Xu Ran said.

For those gossip paparazzi, romance is always a hot topic.

Xi An’an said softly, “Munch and I are just friends, let’s settle on this, but since this is the first stop of the tour in Y Country, we can’t have just one special guest.”

“I’ve found another guest for you,” Xu Ran said.

“Who?”

“Keep it a secret for now, you’ll know when the time comes,” Xu Ran teased.

Xi An’an looked at her inquisitively, really, who could it be, making it so mysterious?
