The red gem king and the green gem king flew to the North Pole at their fastest speed. There were weaker gem kings following them, but they were quickly left behind by the two gem kings because they were slow.

By the time the two of them got there, a brown storm had surrounded the whole North Pole from every side, and numerous dust hurricanes were roaming the borders of the North Pole.

The combined power of the winds battering the North Pole had reached 50 C. Yet, the North Pole remained safe at the center of the storm. None of the hurricanes could actually enter the North Pole to wipe out everyone and everything there.

From where the gem kings stood in the air, they didn't see a golden eye. What they saw was a golden tree standing above the North Pole, protecting it.

The golden tree wasn't actually there. It wasn't a physical entity. The golden tree they saw was the manifestation of a special energy that had suddenly appeared in the North Pole.

This energy was something they had never encountered before. So the two gem kings were intrigued.

The green gem king said, "These new people seem to be resourceful. I wonder where they got this special energy."

The red gem king nodded in agreement and said, "Don't worry. After we have a sincere chat with them, I'm sure that they will tell us where they got the special energy. They might even share the energy with us after seeing our sincerity."

The two of them were practically drooling at the thought of gaining a new type of resource that could help them grow stronger. So if there was any thought of sending these new invaders away, that thought has been killed and replaced by the thought of plunder.

What the two of them want to do now is to beat up the new invaders, plunder them, learn about their world, and then visit their world to plunder it too.

This thought filled the two of them with anticipation as they plunged headfirst into the phantom of the golden tree.

As soon as they crossed the barrier separating the world of Aries from the North Pole, they felt a hostile consciousness turn its attention to them. They also saw the golden eye in the sky, gazing down at them.

This situation wasn't strange to them at all. The world spirit of Aries is also hostile to them and always shows its hostility to them in some way or another.

If there are some things that are different about the hostility that they are perceiving here, it is that the hostility is coming from a golden eye.

This is a very important difference because there usually isn't a definite source of hostility. They usually feel hostility from the whole world, not from one particular object.

Another important thing about this situation that grabbed their attention is that there shouldn't be another source of hostility in the world or Aries aside from the world spirit of Aries.

After sensing this, the red gem king said to his partner, "No wonder the world spirit of Aries is so angry. I would be angry too if the influence of another world spirit suddenly appeared in my territory."

The green gem king didn't know how the influence of another world spirit had appeared in Aries, but he knew that it was related to the new invaders, and he also knew that he couldn't let the new invaders succeed with whatever they were planning.

So he said to the red gem king, "We have to put an end to whatever is going on as soon as possible."

The red gem king asked, "What do you propose we do?"

His partner replied, "I think that we have to destroy that eye."

The two of them were still feeling leisurely even though they were in enemy territory. If it were the Sun King who was in their shoes, he would have been suppressed after entering this foreign domain. This is because his power comes from the Aries world, and he is an elemental being.

The Sun King would have been panicking had he been here right now because the suppression of the domain is strong on energy different from the mana of the world of Ethera and on elemental beings made of different kinds of energy.

But the two gem kings are still at peace because their cultivation system is concentrated on body refining. This means that their body is very strong and can resist suppression. It also means that they don't fight with energy, so they won't suffer from the suppression of the domain.

Their confidence only faltered slightly when the avatar of Thunder Drake faltered.

The red gem king frowned when Thunder Drake appeared and said to the green gem king, "The existence of this thing seems similar to the existence of a gem emperor. They feel the same to me."
