CHAPTER 164: CHAPTER 164) PLEASE DON’T REJECT ME/ I TRULY LOVE YOU!

"Don’t you dare hurt my mate!". A silver wolf who was a lot bigger than me, jumped in front of me and growled, as it pounced on the hybrid creatures and wild beasts.

The wolf revealed its claws and was ripping apart the wild beasts and hybrid creatures like mere papers.

It was even more aggressive than Elektra. I have never seen a thing like this.

For me, the wild beasts and hybrid creatures were not worthy opponents of the silver wolf.

Within seconds, the silver wolf had already killed and ripped apart up to 10 wild beasts and hybrid creatures, and its fur was stained with blood and was shimmering like twinkling stars. It was running around me and fighting the bastards non-stop. It was protecting me.

’Who is that?! This does not look like a normal werewolf’. Elektra asked me since she couldn’t perceive the wolf’s presence, as she was in the empty abyss.

’It’s the Lycan King’. I replied to her through our mind link.

I didn’t even have to lift a finger because the Lycan King had everything under control. Seeing him active in battle, now I totally get why everyone feared him.

He was an absolute monster and didn’t seem to get tired of fighting.

He could even jump very high and attack the flying bastards mid air. Biting their wings and bringing them down, thus causing a very loud impact that shook the very ground we stood on.

Even with my powers, I really think I might have a tough time fighting against him.

Blaze! Blaze! Blaze!

The atmosphere became hot, only for me to see Irving attacking the human-like demon using her fire breath.

"Die already! Why won’t you just die!!". She screamed at the human-like demon and was pissed off.

I bet she was so focused on fighting the demon that she didn’t realize that the Lycan King was here in the wild forest with us, and could have caught her using her fire breath. Though, her fire breath was quite impressive.

I turned to Fireball and saw that he was doing well. He was kicking the hideous hybrid creature’s ass, and had broken his two horns into halves.

"I can’t just stand and watch". I muttered, before I joined the battle and fought alongside the Lycan King. I could not use my powers while in my wolf form, so I had to use my strength and my claws.

When the Lycan King saw that I had joined him, he began tossing the wild beasts and the hybrid creatures up in the air.

I understood his intention right away. Without hesitation, I jumped up, revealing my claws, as I turned around in mid air.

At the same time, the bastards’ lifeless bodies dropped like flies on the ground, with their mouths opened, and their tongues lying on the ground.

Many minutes passed, and I was panting. The Lycan King and I had killed off all the hybrid creatures and wild beasts, including the ones who could fly.

Their bodies laid helplessly on the ground, completely slaughtered, with their bones broken. Though all this was mostly done by the Lycan King, who showed them absolutely no mercy. But that was not the most important part.

The part I didn’t understand was why I was panting so fast, but the Lycan King looked like he didn’t even lift a single muscle.

Seeing him look at me with ease in his eyes, I felt inferior to him even though I was the one having powers.

I found that not okay and even felt competitive.

"Are you going to keep on staring at me like that, mate? I was very worried about you. My Lycan wolf told me you fainted after you healed me. I was glad to know that you do care about me". He walked towards me as he said to me.

My eyes widened. His Lycan wolf? Then... Did his Lycan wolf see me using my black magic to absorb the dark liquid crystal?!

Oh gosh. How could I forget about something like that?

Of course, he had a Lycan wolf! Even if he was unconscious, his Lycan wolf wouldn’t! That meant his Lycan wolf saw everything I had done!

"What do you know?". I asked him using a harsh tone.

Instead of replying to me, he continued to walk towards me until he stood in front of me and only a foot away from me.

"I know that you are not an ordinary werewolf or an Alpha, my dear mate. But I don’t care. All I know is that you are my mate". He said to me, and was I the only one who felt like he was mentioning the word ’mate’ more repeatedly than before?

"Stop calling me that. I don’t accept you as my mate". I coldly said to him and almost flinched the instant he whimpered.

’What did I just hear?’. I wondered, until I saw the sad look in his eyes.

’What did he mean by this reaction? Is he... sad? Because I didn’t accept him as my mate? Wait. Did he want me to accept him as my mate? Then, does that mean he wants me as his mate?!’. I exclaimed in my mind.

’I can’t believe I’m saying this, but if our mate truly wants us, then his reaction is cute!’. Elektra declared, but I frowned.

There was no way someone like the Lycan King wanted us as his mate. I don’t believe that.

"Please don’t reject me! I have truly loved you ever since I set my eyes on you. I want you to accept me as your mate. That is why I approached you! At first, I wasn’t too sure of my feelings for you when I approached you, but now, I almost got insane searching for you after I heard that you fainted when you healed me".

I froze, and my eyes widened because of what the Lycan King said. It was like time stopped between both of us. I sincerely never expected someone cold and intimidating like him to say something like that to me. Was I dreaming or in a dream?

Because if I was in a dream, I needed someone to wake me up immediately.
