CHAPTER 165: CHAPTER 165) SOMETHING MOVED/ BIG BABY/ JEALOUS LYCAN KING.

I had shifted into my human form. The same thing with the Lycan King.

What is going on?

I had pinched my cheek, but it wasn’t a dream.

The Lycan King confessed his feelings for me. And what was this feeling I felt inside me? As if my heart moved and wanted to be in his embrace.

My eyes darkened because I really felt that the Lycan King was trying to deceive me with his sugar coated words.

I was unsettled and didn’t want to believe his words even though I knew that he might not actually be telling me a lie. I unblocked my mind reading power and began to read his mind, ’Please don’t reject or hate me. I am not as ruthless as they say. Especially not towards you. You brought hope of living on, into my life. I don’t think I can live without you. So please, don’t reject me. I really wish I could tell you all this’.

After reading his mind, I blocked my mind reading power. My mouth opened in disbelief and my darkened eyes relaxed.

Was he really serious about this? He loves me?

I wouldn’t lie, I felt his love for me. I could feel it. My heart felt something deep, and it was completely different from the time Luca confessed his idiotic obsessed love for me.

The fact that I had come to learn that the Lycan King wasn’t as bad as they said he was, made me feel less vigilant around him.

Then I thought about my real mother, the moon goddess. She said she was going to take me back with her to the moon if I fulfilled my destiny.

There was no way I wanted to go to a place as boring as the moon.

I would rather remain here.

"I-".

’’Why did your heart become relaxed, Clara? Did you read his mind? Is he telling the truth? If he is not, then let me help you deal with him’. Elektra said to me, making me imagine what kind of wolf she was.

One second she would behave like a normal wolf, but the next second she would behave the opposite way.

I think she has two different personalities.

’He’s telling the truth, Elektra’. I replied to her with my eyes never leaving the Lycan King’s side.

He was looking at me with desperation in his eyes.

Maybe because he was afraid I was going to reject him as my mate, just like how Dylan rejected me as his mate. Not that I care or give a damn about Dylan.

’Hmm. I want you to know that I have always feared and disliked the Lycan King because I have heard horrible stories about him. But, we have both seen it. He isn’t the bad guy, Clara. He’s our mate, and I feel bonded to him. I know you feel the same way. You don’t have to hide it from me’.

’But-’.

’Do you wish to remain single all your life? If that’s the case, then so be it. I will support your decision. After all, you are my human. I will follow your lead’. Elektra said to me, leaving me in a hard position.

Earlier, when I wanted to say something to the Lycan King and reject him, Elektra cut me off and began to talk to me.

Honestly, I feel reluctant to reject him. Was that me being selfish?

"Are you going to reject me?". The Lycan King asked me as he took a step closer to me.

"I-. I don’t know". I muttered. Though I knew he had heard what I had said.

"Mama, help me! He’s trying to get away!". Irving yelled, and I turned to her instantly, making my hair swing.

"Mama?". The Lycan King asked me, but I didn’t reply to him and dashed towards Irving to help her. She was tightly holding onto the human-like demon.

I made my two long red and black swords appear in my hands. Unfortunately, before I could stab the human-like demon with them, he escaped from Irving, and, grinning at me, he flew up and vanished into thin air.

His escape move was so fast that I could not follow up, thus letting him escape.

"No!!!". Irving screamed in frustration and began to jump and stomp her foot on the ground angrily.

"It’s alright, Irving. You did your best". I said to her after I caused my swords to disappear.

Hearing my words, Irving stopped stomping on the ground and turned to me. She pouted her lips when saying to me, "But I let him escape, mama. I shouldn’t have let him escape. If not, you could have successfully stabbed him. I failed you".

"It’s okay, Irving. You tried your best". I said to her with my hands on her shoulders. I didn’t expect her to abruptly hug me.

"Mama, you are so kind to me. I shouldn’t have failed you!". Her chin was resting on my shoulder as she cried out.

’Tsk. Why is she overreacting? She should quit being a big baby’. Elektra said to me, and I rolled my eyes at her, even though she wasn’t standing in front of me to see that.

Ha. Elektra. What did she expect? Irving was indeed a baby. That was why she was immature and overreacting like one.

’You are really toxic, Elektra. Especially your words. Did I ever tell you this?’. I said to her.

’No. But thanks for the compliment’. She proudly replied to me.

What a classic sarcastic wolf.

"It’s okay, Irving". I patted her back and she stopped hugging me.

We turned to Fireball’s direction after hearing a loud thud. It was the hideous hybrid creature that collapsed on the ground, and it was Fireball’s doing.

"Come, Irving, let’s go to your brother". I said to her and went to Fireball’s side, standing in front of the barely alive hideous hybrid creature.

The hideous hybrid creature’s body was a mess.

His legs were broken, and almost his entire body was unrecognizable because of the severe burn caused by Fireball’s fire breath.

Fireball looked at me, before he smirked. "Mama, mission accomplished". His deep voice declared.

"Why are they calling you mama?". The Lycan King came to our side and asked me.

’Is that jealousy I sense in his voice?’. Elektra asked me and chuckled.
