Mr Alpha, I Am Not Your Typical Lady!
Chapter 168) Finding her/ Persistent.
CHAPTER 168: CHAPTER 168) FINDING HER/ PERSISTENT.
’I am sorry, Mr Lycan King’. I thought.
’Huh? Why are you sorry? What are you sorry about? What did you do to him?’. Elektra asked me.
But I didn’t reply to her and flicked my fingers with an intention inside my mind.
When I stared below me, I saw the Lycan King vanish.
’Oh. I now get why’. Elektra admitted, since she saw what had happened.
I had purposely made the Lycan King vanish outside the forest because I wanted Fireball and Irving to transform into their dragon forms and help me out.
And I didn’t want the Lycan King to see their true forms.
Seriously. We weren’t close enough for him to know that they were dragons.
For now, only Anders and Beta Damien are permitted to know Fireball and Irving’s true identities.
"Fireball, Irving!". I yelled both their names, and they transformed into their dragon forms, since they seemed to understand why I had called their names.
It didn’t end there. They flapped their wings before they flew very high in the sky like freeborn.
Later that same minute, they descended to my flying level and began to deal with the bastards, burning them with their fire breath. I halted and began to watch them.
I wanted to make sure that they were doing alright before I left.
"Wait, what?". I muttered when I noticed that something was blocking any of the bastards from coming at me.
I didn’t need to look closely for me to see that it was Fireball’s doing.
In case you guys didn’t know, or if you are already aware, I knew both Fireball and Irving’s presence, and could tell them apart. But irrespective of that, I could easily tell which of the two black dragons were Irving or Fireball.
That was because Fireball looked more muscular and slightly bigger than Irving.
Things got even more interesting when Irving disappeared.
No, she didn’t disappear.
I could still sense her presence even though it was very faint.
She had turned invisible, confusing the bastards, because they could not predict her next move in this way.
"I have nothing to worry about. They are doing just fine". I said, before I flew off.
It took only a few minutes, and I sighted Aunt Penelope.
Even though I was far from her, I saw the blood stain that covered her clothes and her body.
And her lying posture made it look like she was dead. I couldn’t perceive her presence or her aura.
"Aunt Penelope!". I called her and flew down directly to her, and landed a few feet away from her before I went and knelt next to her and made her upper body lie on my lap.
My hands shook, and I hesitated to touch any parts of her body as I saw the stabbed marks on her stomach, her hands, and her legs.
Judging by the amount of blood she had lost, that bastard hideous hybrid creature must have tortured her before he finally stabbed her.
With my shaky hand, I placed two fingers beneath her nose, to confirm if she was breathing.
I felt it. A little gush of air brushed through my fingers.
That was enough to make me sigh in relief, and a drop of hot tear escaped from my eye. What made me realize it this late?
I once thought that my body only resembled Alpha Ashton, but I was nowhere related to him, Aunt Penelope, or my mother, Luna Allegra.
But little did I know, I hadn’t completely fit in then. I hadn’t completely realized that they were also my blood, no matter how crazy everything happened. Luna Allegra was my biological mother, just like how the moon goddess was my biological mother too.
And Alpha Ashton was my biological father, making Aunt Penelope my legitimate aunt, and I, her legitimate niece.
They are my family.
Suddenly, tears began to stream down my cheeks upon realizing that when my parents, Alpha Ashton and Luna Allegra, died, I did not mourn them.
I was the unfilial daughter, not the fake Anastasia whom I had put all the blame on.
’She’s not dead, right?’. Elektra asked me. Her voice was surprisingly very low.
Was it because I was crying?
Did she think that I was crying because Aunt Penelope had died?
"She’s alive, Elektra".
’But why are you crying? Your heart feels so sad, and I could feel it too’. She asked me.
"Aunt Penelope is dying, Elektra".
’What are you then waiting for? Heal her quickly’.
"You know I can’t do that, Elektra. I am only strong enough to heal her external injuries. But before I can heal her internal injuries, she has to undergo blood transfusion. And fast!". I declared.
’Return to our pack city at once. You have to take her to a hospital to do the blood transfusion’. She said to me and I nodded at her.
I levitated Aunt Penelope off the ground using my light magic, before I teleported to Fireball and Irving.
They were killing off the remaining flying bastards, and they seemed to be enjoying every bit of it.
If only I hadn’t been in a hurry, I would have definitely left them to destroy the bastards.
But time wasn’t on my side. Neither was it waiting for me.
"Change now!". I ordered them.
At first, they didn’t want to listen to me, but after seeing the injured floating Aunt Penelope, they immediately obeyed me and shifted into their respective human forms. It was after they shifted into their human forms and landed on the ground, that I sensed the Lycan King’s presence.
He was coming.
Why was he so persistent?
I shut my eyes and concentrated.
When I opened my eyes, I flicked my fingers and teleported to the shadows’ pack city with Aunt Penelope, Fireball, Irving, including the Lycan King.
He wasn’t that far from me. That was why I was able to do what I did without breaking a sweat.
