He reached out and draped the jacket over her, "It’s cold outside, don’t catch a cold."

"Thank you." Ye Xinluo lowered her head and said. The jacket matched the dress; it was clear they were prepared a while ago.

"I’ll leave now."

She turned and hurriedly left the room. As soon as she opened the door, two bodyguards appeared in front of her, blocking her way out.

They sought permission from Beichen Rui inside the room, and only when he nodded did they step aside to let her pass.

After she left, Beichen Rui sat on the sofa, a faint smile lingering on his lips.

He glanced around the room, filled with Ye Xinluo’s presence, and his mood inexplicably improved.
