CHAPTER 211: CHAPTER 211: IT’S ALL FOR YOU

When she walked out of the fitting room, she saw Jiang Yue standing there, glaring at her with a venomous look, her face flushed with anger.

Ignoring her gaze, she went to the counter to pay, then carried the shopping bag in her hand before walking to the store with Ye Xinluo.

"Put on the coat." Ye Xinluo handed her the coat. Lan Shan put it on without saying a word.

"Xinluo, did you see Jiang Yue’s expression? She looked like she was going to explode with rage."

"Yeah." Ye Xinluo responded briefly.

She definitely saw it, and if Jiang Shihan hadn’t been stopping her, she might have wanted to fight with Lan Shan right there.

Especially when she heard "premature menopause," her face turned green.

"Shanshan, how come I never noticed how sharp your tongue is before?" Ye Xinluo couldn’t help but tease.

"It’s all for you. Look at that Jiang Shihan, acting so high and mighty, it’s just annoying to see." Lan Shan said grumpily.

Alright, she also thought Jiang Shihan’s demeanor was quite arrogant...

Suddenly thinking of something, she said, "By the way, I’ll transfer you the money for the clothes later."

Upon hearing this, Lan Shan’s expression immediately changed, "Don’t mention money to me, or I’ll get mad at you. Even if you transfer it to me, I won’t accept it."

"That’s not right!"

Lan Shan is also working now, and this doesn’t feel quite right.

"Why is it not okay? What’s our relationship, huh? If you really feel bad, just let me crash at your place a few more nights."

Ye Xinluo: "..."

What a thing to say...

The dignified eldest daughter of the Lan Family actually asking a commoner to take her in, who would believe it? No one would!

"Alright, let’s not talk about it. It’s time to clock in." Lan Shan suddenly said.

She pulled Ye Xinluo toward the car.

The two returned to the company with ten minutes to go before work started. They chatted for a few moments before going to their respective places.

When Jiang Yue arrived at the company and saw Lan Shan, she was fuming.

If it weren’t for Shihan telling her to let it go, she would definitely have torn her a new one.

Luckily, she had errands to run today and wouldn’t have to see Lan Shan and Ye Xinluo for the whole day.

She went back to her place to gather the necessary materials and then went off to conduct her business.

...

Ye Xinluo handled several files throughout the afternoon. Seeing that it was almost time to leave, she organized the documents and took them to Beichen Rui’s office.

He wasn’t in the office, and even Jingxi wasn’t there, so she didn’t think much of it, placed the documents on the desk, and turned to leave.

Returning to her place, she waited for a short while until it was time to clock out, then promptly grabbed her bag and left.

Arriving home, the two of them went to the supermarket downstairs to buy groceries, then carried bags upon bags upstairs.

After placing the groceries in the kitchen, she tied on an apron and started making breakfast.

"Xinluo, Xinluo, let me help you," Lan Shan bounced her way from the living room to the kitchen, saying with a smile.

Not thinking much of it, she nodded, "Sure, you can help me scale the fish."

"Okay." After saying that, Lan Shan poured the fish from the bag into the sink, turned on the tap, and filled it halfway with water.

Ye Xinluo didn’t pay her any mind, as she boiled water in the pot, putting the cleaned ribs in to blanch.

Then she took out some ginger to wash and peeled garlic.

Watching her handle everything with ease, and then looking at the fish in the sink, Lan Shan made up her mind and reached out her hand.

To ensure the freshness of the ingredients, Ye Xinluo bought live fish, intending to prepare it herself.

Evidently, Lan Shan hadn’t thought about this, as she directly poured the fish into the sink, reached out to grab one, and watched as it flicked its tail and easily escaped.
