"No, nothing. Maybe my face is red because the hairdryer was too hot, and the boss helping me blow dry my hair, having a scent of men’s cologne makes sense." Ye Xinluo explained awkwardly.

Lan Shan thought about it and found this explanation quite plausible, so she let the topic go.

Seeing she dropped it, Ye Xinluo breathed a sigh of relief, "It’s so late, why aren’t you resting?"

"I’m hungry." Lan Shan scratched her head sheepishly; she hadn’t eaten much dinner, so she was hungry soon after.

Ye Xinluo smiled, "Alright, let’s get you something to eat first."

"Okay."

The two of them left the room together. Beichen Rui was no longer in the living room; Ye Xinluo assumed he had gone back to his room and didn’t think much of it.

They went to the kitchen and reheated the food that was left in the microwave.

Lan Shan sat on the chair and noticed a quilt on the sofa, she asked curiously, "Xinluo, why is there a blanket and pillow on the sofa?"

"Oh, I brought those for the boss. He planned to sleep on the sofa."

Lan Shan: "Where’s the boss then?"

"I asked him to go sleep with Jingxi just now, so he probably went back to his room!"

After the food was reheated, she brought it out and handed it to Lan Shan.

Lan Shan ate while saying, "So, are you sleeping with me tonight?"
