Mr. CEO's Ex-Wife: A Cunning Comeback
Chapter 320: Don’t Ever Point At Me!
CHAPTER 320: CHAPTER 320: DON’T EVER POINT AT ME!
Why does he care so much about that bitch Chantelle? I’m the one who should have all his attention!
If it weren’t for her, I would’ve been the Global Ambassador for Philanthropy. I would’ve married Daniel.
If she had never shown up, my brothers would still care about me.
Everything changed the moment Chantelle appeared. She stole everything from me.
Even after Daniel ditched her, she’s still trying to flirt with Oscar. I’m not letting that happen.
"Oscar, Ms. Chantelle, and Mr. Daniel divorced not too long ago. Why did she come looking for you?"
Camille said with a fake concern, but her tone was sharp. She made it sound like Chantelle was already chasing after other men right after the divorce, reminding her that Oscar shouldn’t fall for her act.
Oscar’s expression darkened. He frowned. "Why are you here? You should go home."
He remembered Rowan had signed her up for etiquette classes. She wasn’t even allowed to go near bars.
"Earlier at dinner, you got up and left right after taking a call. Everyone’s worried about you. Rowan asked me to check on you. Don’t forget, you’re engaged, Oscar."
Camille pretended to look worried. She seemed like a thoughtful younger sister.
People nearby started whispering.
"What’s up with Chantelle? She’s always chasing after men!"
"Exactly! Remember how Mr. Wilson used to be close with Kate? The moment Chantelle came back, she ruined everything. Now she’s trying to steal someone else’s fiancé!"
Oscar gave the two gossiping women a sharp glare. They immediately went silent.
"I’m just regular friends with Ms. Bently," he said coldly. "Say one more word of nonsense, and I’ll sue you for slander on her behalf."
Normally, Camille would’ve backed down the moment Oscar got angry. But with everyone watching and whispering, she won’t allow Chantell to leave easily.
She pouted and said, "Why? I’m your younger sister, Oscar. You used to care about me the most. Why did everything change after you met Chantelle?"
Oscar narrowed his eyes. He wanted to ignore Camille and walked right past her.
Camille couldn’t let them go. She grabbed Chantelle’s arm and tried to pull her away.
Even though Chantelle was drunk, her reflexes were still quick. The moment she felt someone hold her arm, she sprang away from Oscar, grabbed the attacker’s arms, and threw them over her shoulder.
Splat! Camille landed face-first on the ground.
She was wearing a miniskirt that already made walking risky. Now that she was lying on the floor, her pink lingerie was completely exposed.
Click! Click! Click! Cameras flashed around her. Camille quickly yanked her skirt down to cover herself.
Oscar quickly took off his coat and covered her. He looked around and warned, "If any of those photos show up in public, you’ll be held fully responsible."
But no one seemed to care. It was too easy to upload photos online, and there was no way Oscar could stop them all.
"Chantelle, you bitch! You did that on purpose!" Camille shouted.
Oscar’s warning made her realize how badly this could damage her reputation. She was about to become the new Mrs. Wilson so she couldn’t let this chaos ruin everything.
She instantly attacked Chantelle and tried to tear her clothes. She won’t let herself be the only one humiliated.
In one swift move, Oscar stood between her and Chantelle. "Haven’t you embarrassed yourself enough?"
"Oscar! You must have lost your mind! I’m your younger sister, and yet you keep protecting her! She beat me up and humiliated me in public, but you’re scolding me!"
Oscar opened his mouth to explain, but before he could speak, Chantelle pushed him aside.
She stood in front of Camille and said coldly, "I don’t need his help. I’ll handle you myself."
Oscar briefly considered knocking Camille out and dragging her away.
"You shameless bitch! You ruin people’s relationships and beat me up too!" Camille shouted, jabbing her finger at Chantelle’s nose.
Chantelle grabbed her finger and began twisting it. Camille’s face twisted along with it in pain.
"Don’t ever point at me!"
Before Camille could respond, Chantelle cut her off. "You think you’re the only one who knows how to yell? I can yell too! You... bleurgh!"
Chantelle grabbed her shoulder, leaned closer, and threw up all over Camille’s body.
If Camille hadn’t been wearing Oscar’s coat, she would’ve been soaked from head to toe.
"You!" Camille trembled angrily.
Chantelle rubbed her nose and staggered a few steps back. "Sorry, your face just makes me sick. I couldn’t hold it anymore."
"What did you say? You’re the one who makes me sick! First, you went after Daniel, now you’re after my brother! You shameless—"
Before Camille could finish her words, a slap landed on her cheek. She turned her head and glared at Thea.
Thea pulled Chantelle aside and said, "I told you to stay away from dogs. People might think you’re one of them."
The people around them started laughing.
Those who had been mocking Chantelle earlier were now covering their noses and pointing at Camille.
"Hey, Ms. Nelsen, Chantie hasn’t even divorced Mr. Wilson yet, but you’re already announcing that you’re marrying him. So who’s really ruining relationships here? Sometimes I wonder if your family’s was broke and desperate for Mr. Wilson’s money!"
Before Chantelle could say something, Thea continued scolding Camille. "Chantie is Daniel Wilson’s legal wife. She’s the only one who has the right to be called Mrs. Wilson. What’s so wrong if she comes back to Easthan to protect her own son? A son who almost died because of Kate and her mother. What’s wrong with that, huh?"
The crowd started remembering the news. Everyone knew Kate and Daniel had separated after it was revealed that Kate and her family had tried to harm Daniel’s son more than once.
Chantelle was also the only woman Daniel had ever publicly declared as the love of his life.
No one could call her the third wheel. If anything, it was Camille who had been pretending to be Daniel’s wife when she wasn’t even married to him.
Everyone knew how protective Daniel was of Chantelle. So if he suddenly wanted a divorce just to marry Camille, it wouldn’t be hard to figure out who was really ruining the relationship.
The onlookers kept snapping photos and recording videos. It was rare that they got to see drama among the upper class.
Noticing the crowd’s excitement, Thea continued to fire up the drama.
"As for you, Mr. Nelsen, can you explain to everyone why you and your two brothers have been pestering Chantie lately? Do you have some hidden agenda?"
Thea shot Oscar a sharp glare.
