CHAPTER 321: CHAPTER 321: CAMILLE’S TANTRUMS

Chantelle had once told her she had no romantic feelings for any of the Nelsen brothers. She believed they wouldn’t treat her badly.

Thea had been watching how Chantelle interacted with them. She even thought Chantelle could’ve chosen one of them and made it work. Even if there wasn’t a spark, feelings could grow over time.

But after seeing what happened earlier, Thea realized she had been wrong. Those men were too close to Camille, and somehow, they always ended up part of her mess.

"Thea? Why are you angry?" Chantelle was feeling a bit sober after throwing up. When she saw Thea’s face, she thought someone had bullied her.

Thea smiled and gently pinched her cheek. "Just sit back and enjoy the show!"

Chantelle smiled and nodded, even though she still didn’t know what was going on.

"I’m sorry. I admit I haven’t kept an eye on my younger sister. I’ll take her away now." Oscar walked up to Camille and raised his hand to knock her out with a karate chop. But when he saw the vomit all over her, he couldn’t bring himself to do it.

Camille noticed the look of disgust in his eyes. Tears spilled down her face like a broken dam.

She sat on the ground like a spoiled child. "You’re all bullies! So what if you’re married to Daniel? It’s just a piece of paper! He’ll give me that paper once we’re married!"

Thea wanted to keep scolding her, but at that point, it felt like picking a fight on a child.

Oscar stood there silently, watching everything unfold. He was a lawyer, and he was trying to stay as calm and rational as possible.

Even if Camille screamed until she lost her voice, he wouldn’t be moved.

"Here, this is for you. Stop crying."

Chantelle pulled out a booklet and waved it in front of Camille’s face.

Camille snatched it and realized it was Chantelle and Daniel’s marriage certificate.

Anger rose to her chest. She looked like she was about to have a heart attack.

Thea gave Chantelle a quick thumbs-up. "Nicely done!" she said with a grin.

Chantelle scratched her head, confused. Camille wanted the marriage certificate, didn’t she? Now she had it, so why was she crying even louder? What a nuisance.

"I’m going home," Chantelle muttered and wobbled over to Ashton.

She couldn’t remember if she had driven there, but when she saw Ashton, she instinctively walked toward him.

Maybe she was hoping for a miracle.

Ashton had been waiting for Thea to bring Chantelle over. Seeing her approach on her own, he quickly opened the car door for her.

He had brought a Lincoln limousine. Many people recognized it right away; it belonged to Daniel.

Chantelle looked around and felt disappointed when she realized Daniel wasn’t inside.

After hopping into the car, she started searching through the compartments, found a bottle of red wine, and began drinking straight from it.

Meanwhile, Thea stayed behind to warn Oscar not to let his other brothers get too close to Chantelle.

But as soon as she turned around, she saw Chantelle drinking again.

"That’s enough drinking, Chantie."

"Ashton? Did Daniel ask you to come and bring me to his home? Why did you let Chantelle sit inside?" Camille stood up and shouted.

She realized her tears weren’t getting her any sympathy. Even her own brother was ignoring her.

She wanted to keep arguing with Thea, but then she saw Ashton and the sleek Lincoln limousine parked nearby.

The Nelsen family owned plenty of luxury cars too. But if Chantelle was sitting inside Daniel’s limo, then everything Thea said earlier must’ve been true.

"Her house is along the way, Ms. Camille."

Ashton knew Daniel had his own plans for dealing with Camille. It wasn’t time to crush her hopes just yet.

"No! You can’t send her home! I’ll tell Daniel to fire you!"

"Ah, sorry, Ms. Camille. I have to pick someone else up. Bye!"

Chantelle and Thea were already seated in the car. Ashton didn’t want to waste time arguing. He quickly got into the front passenger seat and told the driver to leave.

"I’ll tell Daniel to fire you!" Camille shouted, still refusing to back down.

She was going to be Mrs. Wilson soon. Once that happened, Ashton would be the first to be fired. How dare he ignore her orders!

The onlookers glanced at Camille with sympathy.

Not just anyone could sit in Daniel’s Lincoln. Even Kate had never been in it. It looked like Chantelle was the first woman to ride in that car.

And it wasn’t even her first time. She had already sat in it six years ago.

Daniel’s love clearly belonged to Chantelle. People thought he was only marrying Camille for business reasons. Besides, he hadn’t divorced Chantelle yet. It would still take time before anything with Camille became official.

The announcement earlier was likely just to appease the Nelsen brothers but Camille didn’t seem to realize that. She genuinely believed Daniel loved her.

After coming to that conclusion, the onlookers began sharing their thoughts all over social media.

Eventually, Oscar got Camille into his car, even though she was still throwing a fit.

I just bought this car, and she’s already making it stink. Guess I’ll need to buy another one.

"Are you happy now, Oscar?" Camille wiped her tears and shot him an angry look.

Oscar raised an eyebrow and gave her a cold smirk. "Our family’s unlucky to have someone as worthless as you."

"Why are you scolding me too? What did I even do? I’m supposed to be Daniel’s future wife! Why didn’t they treat me the way they did to Chantelle? Why aren’t they afraid of me?"

"Because you’re an idiot! Why would anyone flatter you when there’s nothing worth flattering? Is it because you know how to throw tantrums and act cute? Or because you’ve got a filthy mouth despite being born with a silver spoon? Or maybe it’s your pathetic little schemes against her?"

Oscar’s tone was cold, and his words were even colder.

"No! You’re all under Chantelle’s spell! That bitch!" Camille shouted stubbornly without any plan to back down.

Oscar shook his head as he let out a long sigh. He didn’t want to waste another word on her, though he couldn’t completely ignore the fact that Camille had taken care of their grandfather for years.

"Even if you were right... have you ever stopped to ask yourself why she manages to win over everyone you care about while they all seem to despise you?"

That question hit Camille right where it hurt. She had been feeling frustrated lately as Chantelle had taken everything that should have been hers. But what she couldn’t understand was how Chantelle managed to do it.
