CHAPTER 431: CHAPTER 431: DADDY WILL LOVE MOMMY FOREVER

The room fell silent. Everyone gasped and turned to stare at Camille curiously. She had been so arrogant a moment ago, but now her face twisted in anger after realizing Daniel no longer had any money.

"How can you be so shameless? You’re so evil that you even took all of Mr. Wilson’s assets! If people lose everything after getting married, who would ever want to get married again?" Camille shouted, continuing to slander Chantelle.

"Daddy, why did you transfer all your assets to Mommy?" Stephanie’s voice suddenly erupted.

Then everyone heard Daniel speak in a gentle voice they had never heard before. "Because Daddy loves Mommy," he said softly.

"Does Daddy love other women?" Stephanie asked, glaring at Camille.

"Daddy only loves Mommy. Daddy will love Mommy forever," Daniel replied. He knew Stephanie wouldn’t call just to ask such a strange question. He thought Chantelle was listening, so he said it intentionally for her to hear.

After Stephanie hung up, she looked at Camille with a provocative stare. Camille shot back angrily, "Your father hasn’t told you about our marriage yet, right? He only said that to make a child like you happy."

"No! Daddy only loves Mommy! He won’t marry you!" Stephanie screamed, furious. She wanted to send Little Bee to attack Camille, but Chantelle stopped her.

Chantelle looked calm. She gently patted Stephanie’s head to comfort her and looked at Camille. "I hope you can talk to Mr. Wilson and settle your issue with him. And I also hope you understand that even without the title of Mrs. Wilson, I’m not someone you can easily offend."

"Who do you think you are? What can you do if I offend you? I’ll make sure this movie won’t be produced. I swear on my family’s name!" Camille burst out furiously. She wanted to show she was above Chantelle; after all, she was about to marry Daniel and become Mrs. Wilson.

"I dare you to try." Chantelle wasn’t afraid of the Wilson family or the Nelsen family.

After all, she had even planned to go against Daniel when she first came back.

Camille glanced around at the crowd, then left in anger.

Mr. Roscoe turned to Chantelle and asked, "Ms. Chantelle, do you think..."

"Ignore her, Mr. Roscoe. Just do what you think is right." Chantelle looked at the crowd, and everyone quickly put their phones away.

The audition went on smoothly after that. Still, Mr. Roscoe gathered everyone in the audition room and asked them to perform in front of everyone to keep things fair. That way, if he chose Clinton whom Chantelle had brought, no one would accuse him of favoritism.

In the end, Clinton’s performance stood out. He earned Mr. Roscoe’s praise and was certain to get the role.

"Clinton, can I get your autograph?"

"Can I take a picture with you?"

After his audition, people surrounded him. But this time, it wasn’t because of his looks. They were genuinely impressed by his acting and believed he would soon become a rising star.

Clinton put a genuine smile on his face, which was something rarely seen from him.

"Mommy, why are you treating him so well?" Stephanie asked. She couldn’t believe Chantelle would go this far for him, even if he had helped them at the airport.

Besides, Chantelle was always busy and barely had time for the triplets, yet she spent the whole morning on Clinton.

"Because I want to make him famous." Chantelle had already made up her mind. She knew Stephanie would be spending most of her time in Easthan now and probably wouldn’t live in Carcosa anymore.

Since Stephanie’s connections in the film industry were all in Carcosa, she hadn’t worked on any projects since returning to Easthan. She never complained, but Chantelle knew how much she wanted to act again.

Instead of sending Stephanie to another entertainment agency, Chantelle decided to start her own film company to take care of Stephanie and grow her own career simultaneously.

When Chantelle first saw Clinton, she thought he had the perfect face for acting. He could be the first star her company would manage. After watching his performance, she became even more confident in her decision.

"Are you planning to use him to make money?" Stephanie asked, realizing what her mother’s real intention was.

Chantelle nodded.

"Ms. Chantelle, I’m sorry, and thank you for waiting." Clinton had been in the entertainment industry for a few years. He knew no one treated him kindly without a reason, so he waited for Chantelle to bring up the topic of his contract. If she wanted him to sign up with the Wilson Group of Companies’ film company, he would agree instantly. Still, he didn’t think he would be that lucky.

"Get in the car. I’ll take you somewhere first," Chantelle said.

"Ms. Chantelle, there’s a problem with the car. I already booked an appointment with the service center. If you’re heading out, please take that one instead," the driver said apologetically.

Chantelle nodded. But as soon as she saw the vehicle, she realized something was wrong. She quickly recognized that it was Daniel’s Rolls-Royce.

The man who came out of the car was indeed Daniel’s driver. He was young but sharp. He quickly opened the door for Chantelle and said, "Mrs. Wilson, Mr. Wilson instructed us to take you anywhere you wish. Just give us a call. We’re always on standby."

"Mommy, get in quickly. It’s so hot," Stephanie said when she saw that Chantelle was still hesitating.

She was still willing to help her father after he had just confessed to Chantelle in public.

Once the driver closed the door for Chantelle, he completely ignored Clinton and went straight to the driver’s seat. Clinton didn’t seem to mind and sat in the passenger seat instead.

"Mommy, where are we going?" Stephanie asked while holding Chantelle’s arm.

"We’re going to visit Clinton’s house," Chantelle replied with a smile.

Clinton was stunned. He said awkwardly, "Ms. Chantelle, the place I’m staying at now is..."

Clinton might be popular, but he hadn’t made much money. He shared a unit with other artists.

"You’ll know when we arrive," Chantelle quickly interrupted him. Clinton was shocked. He could guess what was happening, but he couldn’t believe it.

The driver had already gotten the destination from the previous driver. After hearing what Chantelle said, he understood what was going on. While waiting at the red light, he quickly sent a text to Daniel.

"Mr. Wilson, Mrs. Wilson is giving the young actor a condominium unit."
