CHAPTER 733: FELIX SHAW SUDDENLY ASKED, HAVE YOU SEEN DAD AND THAT WOMAN?

Melody Zachary did not know about Felix Shaw’s injury and insisted that her son send his future daughter-in-law back. Mia Foster felt it would be impolite to refuse too strongly, but she stopped in her tracks as soon as she stepped out of the villa.

"You should go back and rest, apply some more ointment, take your medicine on time, and get some rest early,"

"Yeah, that sounds good." Felix handed his car keys to Mia Foster, but then he suddenly asked her as she was getting into the driver’s seat, "Did you see dad and that woman?"

Mia Foster’s movement to close the car door paused, her hand still on it, as she looked up in surprise at Felix.

Felix looked serious, his hands in the pockets of his casual pants as he stood by the roadside, seemingly fully aware of the situation.

Staring at Felix, Mia Foster’s mind raced. If Felix also knew about his father’s affair, he wouldn’t be so calm, so... he must have noticed something... perhaps he was testing her?

Mia Foster smiled, feigning ignorance, "What are you talking about? I don’t understand. What woman? Does Uncle Shaw have a woman outside?"

Felix’s gaze tightened, and he pursed his lips saying, "Never mind, you should get going; it’s getting late."

"Okay, bye." Mia Foster smiled, waved, closed the car door, and drove off in Felix’s car.

Watching the sedan moving further away, Felix’s eyes narrowed slightly. Mia Foster’s reaction was clearly odd just now; her shock was evident at the mention of "that woman," and then there was her chuckling, evasive response, "Does Uncle Shaw have a woman outside?"

He had only asked if she had seen his father with that woman, not whether his father had kept a woman outside...

It seems he really needed to start paying attention to his father’s whereabouts.

Redirecting his gaze, Felix turned and walked back to the villa. In the living room, Oliver Shaw was still sitting on the sofa reading the newspaper, while Melody Zachary was watching a soap opera.

"Felix, why are you back so soon? Didn’t you send Mia home?" Melody Zachary looked puzzled as she saw her son come in. Felix took off his leather shoes and slipped his feet out, "No, she said it wasn’t necessary."

"You, son, do not understand a girl’s heart at all. How can you let her go back alone so late? What if something happens?"

"Mom, she drove a car; what could happen?" Felix crossed the living room heading toward the stairs. Oliver Shaw also looked up from his newspaper, "Felix, I’ve told you, no matter how many flings you’ve had outside, you need to remember, in the end, you’re marrying Mia Foster!"

Felix stopped on the stairs, one hand on the railing, turned his head, and met his father’s stern look. His eyes slightly squinted as if pondering something, then he nodded, "I understand. No matter how I play around outside, I need to appease her as my main wife."

If he hadn’t misunderstood, that’s probably what his father meant.

"What nonsense are you talking, child?"

Melody Zachary chided disapprovingly, then turned to her husband, "Husband, talk some sense into Felix. Look at him, twisting your words."

"It’s late, time for bed!" Oliver Shaw put down the newspaper on the coffee table and got up.

Melody Zachary reluctantly turned off the TV and followed her husband up the stairs. Watching his parents pass him by one after the other, Felix’s eyes slowly narrowed.

Hearing his father’s lively demeanor, he certainly did not seem like someone who had been drunk the night before. Moreover, ever since he got engaged to Mia Foster, he has been hinting to himself that as long as he keeps Mia Foster content, he can keep a woman outside.

The corner of his lips curved unconsciously. Could he interpret this as his father sharing his experience with him?
