CHAPTER 736: 732, YOUR DAD HAS A WOMAN OUTSIDE.

Felix Shaw had quite a bit to drink because he was entertaining on behalf of Elizabeth White, which is why he didn’t refuse.

It was almost noon by the time he woke up, more accurately, he was repeatedly woken up by the ringtone of his cell phone.

Opening his eyes and frowning, he rubbed his sore temples and looked around, hearing the unending ringtone on the carpet. He pulled out the arm Elizabeth White was resting on and got out of bed.

Picking up the trousers that were on the carpet, he pulled out his phone from the pocket, glanced at the caller, and furrowed his brows as he answered.

"Mom... why are you calling so early, what’s the matter?"

"Wuu... Felix, your dad has a woman outside..." Melody Zachary’s voice came through the receiver, accompanied by her plaintive sobbing.

Felix Shaw had planned on staying in Capital City for a few days, as he and Elizabeth White hadn’t spent time together since her miscarriage. But now that his mother has called to say that his father had a woman outside, crying very sadly, Felix comforted her briefly before getting dressed. Turning back to the bed, Elizabeth White was still sleeping soundly, with a thin blanket over her armpit, leaving skin exposed with ambiguous marks.

Having no mood to think further, Felix Shaw gently tapped Elizabeth White’s face, "Elizabeth, something came up at home, I have to go first,"

Elizabeth White murmured a response in her daze, and Felix Shaw quickly packed his luggage and hurriedly left the hotel.

He took the earliest flight home, and by the time Felix Shaw arrived, his mother Melody Zachary was sitting on the couch crying, and his father Oliver Shaw was also at home, sitting on a single seater across from his mother, hands resting on the armrests, looking rather displeased.

"Mom, what’s going on?" Felix Shaw hurried in, throwing his suitcase aside and quickly walking towards his mother.

Melody Zachary rose up like she had seen a lifesaver, extending her arms, "Felix, you’re back. Your dad... wuu..."

She had only started when Melody Zachary once again collapsed into her son’s arms and broke down, but Oliver Shaw expressed displeasure with a low rebuke, "I don’t know who you learned it from, always so paranoid!"

"Dad, what happened?" Mother Melody Zachary was already crying incoherently, and Felix Shaw turned to look at his father.

Oliver Shaw huffed displeasedly, "It’s your mother, always making groundless accusations; I don’t know where she heard it from, insisting that I have another woman outside!"

Looking at Oliver Shaw, he was quite angry, speaking indignantly, Felix Shaw tightened his peach-blossom eyes, then turned back and looked down at his crying mother in his arms, "Mom, where did you hear that dad has a woman outside?"

"Do I even need to hear it from someone else? I can sense it myself!" Melody Zachary lifted her head, voicing her grievances, then buried herself again in her son’s arms to cry.

Felix Shaw...

"Mom, how did you sense it?" Could it be that she found some evidence?

"Hmph, your dad used to be so..."

"Shut your mouth!" Just as Melody Zachary started to accuse, Oliver Shaw interrupted her with displeasure, "You’re this old, and yet you’re not embarrassed to talk about this in front of your son?"

"What am I embarrassing? Isn’t it the same with every couple?" Melody Zachary retorted unconvinced, raising her head to glare at her husband. "Just think about it; you used to have such strong desires, but now, you don’t even touch me. You say we’re an old couple now, but I think you’re just too worn out from someone outside!"

Because of her suspicions, Melody Zachary didn’t care about discussing it in front of her sons, voicing all her doubts. Then she turned her head toward her son, "Felix, you be the judge for me, you’re also a man, you should understand how men think!"
