CHAPTER 156: CHAPTER 155: SMOKING IS BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH

Last time Carter Lockwood came back, Julian Ford called Ethan Grant to invite him for a card game, but Ethan outright refused.

Today, he organized a gathering, inviting Carter Lockwood, Julian Ford, and Carter’s cousin—Young Master Walsh.

Young Master Walsh glanced again at Felix "Yama" Lockwood, who was also smoking nearby, and really wanted to flee.

Carter continued, and Young Master Walsh chimed in, "Yeah, after his failed project bid, Felix came back and was so angry he trashed his office."

"Ethan, you’re really screwing over your own family."

Felix Lockwood’s wife—Renee Grant, who is also Sean Lockwood’s mother, is Ethan Grant’s half-sister.

But there he was, taking the project that affected his brother-in-law’s position at The Lockwood Corporation.

"They overstepped; it’s time she got a wake-up call."

Ethan said coldly, turning to look at Carter Lockwood still smoking, with a frown.

"Exactly!"

Carter responded, thinking that if it didn’t affect The Lockwood Corporation’s overall operation, he wouldn’t interfere.

He assumed Ethan was afraid he would step in to stop him.

"Put out your cigarette."

Ethan said seriously, looking at the cigarette in Carter’s hand, "Second-hand smoke is bad for my health."

"Cough! Cough! Cough!"

This statement caused Young Master Walsh to down his glass of red wine in one go.

Julian Ford and Carter Lockwood were also stunned. Were they hallucinating?

Here, was anyone smoking as much as Ethan? Just then, he smoked so much they were about to go crazy, and now he says second-hand smoke is unhealthy!

Ethan thought about it and decided that even if Carter put out his cigarette, the room would still be filled with smoke, so for the sake of his health, he’d better leave.
