CHAPTER 26: CHAPTER 26: SLAP THEM BACK

Zoe Quinn likes this idea!

Shannon Shaw went to the utility room next to the cubicle and actually found a rope.

They didn’t lay a finger on Serena Sullivan. Even if Ethan Grant had heard something, Serena didn’t have any bruises, so he wouldn’t do anything to her! It could instead turn out that Serena was falsely accusing them.

The more Zoe thought about it, the better Shannon’s idea sounded. Her lips curved into a smile, and she moved her gaze to Serena’s legs, smiling sweetly, "Sister, you’re really pitiful!"

"If you’re willing to kneel down and beg me, I’ll have Shannon help you go to the bathroom."

"Oh right, you’re a cripple, you can’t even kneel down!"

Zoe mocked freely. When Serena had her legs paralyzed back then, she was so happy she couldn’t sleep for several nights.

Serena should be thankful for what she did on the night of the car accident; otherwise, how would she have left Solaria, and how would her legs have ended up crippled, unable even to stand?

"Not leaving?"

Serena slightly lowered her head, glanced at the watch on her wrist, and asked calmly.

"Shannon, tie her up and push her into the utility room."

Zoe, seeing Serena still acting so arrogant at this moment, commanded Shannon sternly.

Shannon walked over. She looked at Serena on the wheelchair with no trace of fear and inexplicably felt afraid herself. This woman obviously had crippled legs, at their mercy yet made them feel like they were the ones on the chopping board.

"Bang," a noise sounded, Shannon hadn’t touched Serena yet when the restroom door was suddenly pushed open.

They had put up a maintenance sign at the restroom door, no one should come in.

Upon seeing the man at the door, Zoe thought he had come to the wrong place, and her eyes turned red, tears immediately fell down.

"Sister, why do you always have to take away from me..."

Her act wasn’t done, but the man ignored her, walked straight to Serena, and asked, "Miss Sullivan, are you alright?"

The man who came was the bodyguard Anna Morgan had left for Serena. Zoe recognized him, and her tears, held in her eyes, were conflicted whether to fall or stay.

The bodyguard pushed Serena to the door, and she turned her head, gave a cold glance at crying Zoe, and smiled, "Slap both of them!"

"What!"

Zoe and Shannon froze, looked at each other, and quickly backed away.

They were just two girls; how could they stand up to a man, especially a tall and mighty bodyguard?

"Yes!"

The bodyguard replied, swiftly turned, and grabbed Zoe’s hand.

"Serena!"

Zoe yelled in panic as she saw the bodyguard’s hand rise, "Serena, you bitch, you dare have someone hit me."

As soon as she finished speaking, a stinging slap landed swiftly on her cheek. The bodyguard’s strength was far greater than Anna’s, leaving Zoe stunned, and the tears she had held back all came out.

"Help, we’re being hit!"

Shannon saw the bodyguard really starting to hit them and tried to rush out but was pulled back and also slapped.

"Five each!"

Serena, sitting in the wheelchair facing away from them, looked at the closed restroom door and said calmly.

Behind her, the sound of slaps echoed loudly, apart from crying, the two didn’t have the strength to curse.

After five slaps, Zoe, already slapped red by Anna, had her cheeks now swollen and didn’t even need a mirror to know how she looked.

"Serena, how dare you do this to me, mom and Ethan won’t let you get away with it," Zoe, slapped hopeless, sat on the ground, holding her swollen face, glared at Serena venomously and threatened.

"Gag them, tie them up, and throw them into the utility room."
