Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure
Chapter 30: How Can I Help You
CHAPTER 30: CHAPTER 30: HOW CAN I HELP YOU
"Ethan!"
The voice calling out to Ethan Grant became more cautious.
The phone Ethan Grant took out was the same model as the one Serena Sullivan dropped in the bathroom, both being the hottest product from four years ago.
Of course, there were more than just these two phones produced, but after four years, there probably weren’t many people still using them.
"What is this!"
Zoe Quinn pursed her lips, pretending not to understand what Ethan Grant was saying.
Ethan Grant opened the phone contacts; the first and only record was Serena Sullivan’s, and the call lasted three minutes.
This means that as soon as Zoe Quinn and Shannon Shaw surrounded Serena Sullivan in the bathroom, Serena Sullivan secretly called Ethan Grant.
Serena, that bitch!
Zoe Quinn’s expression instantly turned cold, and she gritted her teeth, thinking bitterly.
"Ethan!"
Looking up, the tears in her eyes started to fall again, more than a string of pearls.
"Things aren’t what you think they are!"
"Shannon and I happened to go into the bathroom and met my sister. Seeing her having difficulty moving, I went up to ask if she needed help."
Twisting facts to her advantage was a skill Zoe Quinn had honed perfectly from Claire Sullivan.
Lately, with Ethan Grant pampering her, she had become complacent, thinking he was just like Claire Sullivan.
"Who knew my sister suddenly grabbed my hand—"
Saying this, Zoe Quinn showed her wrist to Ethan Grant. Even after more than five hours, you could still see the faint marks on her wrist.
"I cried and begged my sister, but she was indifferent and even called in the man from outside."
Zoe Quinn cried while observing Ethan Grant’s expression. Seeing his cool and resolute face through the smoke, she pursed her lips slightly.
She intentionally didn’t mention that the man helping Serena was Anna Morgan’s bodyguard, just to mislead Ethan Grant.
Men, even if it’s a woman they no longer want, won’t feel comfortable seeing her with another man, especially someone as controlling as Ethan Grant.
"Look!"
Zoe Quinn moved a step closer, and the smoke that Ethan Grant exhaled invaded her nostrils with the wind, making her cough and step back.
She felt wronged, but didn’t dare approach any further; she could only turn her face aside, touched the clear handprint on her cheek, and cried out.
"My sister told her man to slap me."
"It hurts so much, Ethan!"
She cried with genuine sadness; it really was painful.
Thinking about how she had wanted to teach Serena Sullivan a harsh lesson, but ended up being slapped five times by her bodyguard and locked in a storeroom for so long, just thinking about it made Zoe Quinn’s face throb with pain.
It truly hurt, to the point where even Yvette Sterling, standing guard nearby, felt sorry for her.
Amidst the thick smoke, Ethan Grant said nothing. He continued smoking, and it was either his silence or the obscured view of his expression that threw Zoe Quinn into a panic.
She knew some things about Ethan Grant and Serena Sullivan.
Back then, it was Ethan Grant who didn’t want Serena Sullivan first.
For four years, Ethan Grant hadn’t asked Serena Sullivan to return; it was Serena Sullivan who came back and snatched Ethan Grant away from her.
Thinking this, Zoe Quinn felt more confident.
She cried, drawing out her words as she called, "Ethan! My sister is still so malicious!"
"She’s hitting me out of hatred for stealing you, help me!"
"How can I help you?"
The cold voice finally rang out, and Zoe Quinn’s eyes suddenly lit up, the tears in her eyes no longer falling.
"She had someone hit me five times, hit her back ten times!"
Ten times isn’t enough! At least a hundred times! Beat that shameless face of Serena’s to a pulp.
