Ethan Grant said these two words casually, but it shocked everyone into thinking they had hearing problems, including Serena Sullivan.

As Ethan’s words landed, Serena clenched her hand, slowly lowered her head, and looked at her legs.

Zoe Quinn was even more shocked as she looked at Ethan. He actually said in front of so many people that Serena was his wife. So what about her!

Tears truly flowed from the heartache now, she looked sadly at Ethan, calling out, "Brother Ethan."

Sadly, her Brother Ethan didn’t spare her a glance.

"As a junior, to lay hands on elders!"

Including the people present, Sean Lockwood believed that Serena was abandoned by Ethan Grant, yet Ethan’s one sentence directly slapped everyone in the face.

Sean’s cheeks burned painfully, as he hesitated to meet Ethan’s icy gaze that seemed to reach the bottom! How could Uncle’s words sound so familiar, just like what Serena said earlier!

Yvette Sterling thought that her master and mistress made a perfect couple, matched in blood.

"Since no one in the Lockwood Family teaches you, let me, your uncle, handle it."

"Notify his agent."

Ethan Grant said to Yvette Sterling, "Suspend Sean Lockwood’s work for half a year."

Sean Lockwood was made famous by Ethan Grant single-handedly, and Ethan said to stop, just like that. Everyone around looked on shocked, especially those who had mocked Serena earlier.

"Also, do not allow him into The Grant Corporation again."

Whoever spread the rumor that Mr. Grant didn’t care about Serena!

Ethan’s reprimand and decision made Sean Lockwood call out in dissatisfaction, he pointed at Serena and questioned, "You let down Zoe for this woman, and now you are against me too, I’m not convinced!"

Ethan slowed his voice as he stepped behind Serena, putting a hand on the back of her chair, "But whoever bullies my wife is just not acceptable!"

His imposing aura essentially told everyone that for his wife, he would defeat anything and anyone, they could not.

"Take Sean out for me."

After speaking, the security guards waiting outside came in immediately, Sean Lockwood looked at Ethan Grant’s cold face, feeling both scared and unwilling, he glared at Serena, tauntingly saying, "Alright, you have skills."

After Sean left, the office atmosphere became even colder and more rigid, Zoe Quinn cried softly, her eyes miserably looking at him.

"Brother Ethan, are you still angry with me?"

She asked softly, Ethan couldn’t be bothered to respond, he leaned over and spoke to Serena in the wheelchair, "The office is ahead, I’ll push you over."

Serena didn’t know why Ethan was protecting her in front of so many people and Sean. After recalling what Zoe had said earlier, were those two arguing?

Or, since Ethan married her, he must protect his good husband image publicly.

As a leader of a large group, having a good reputation is necessary.

"Work well here, I’ll pick you up after work."

Serena thought muddledly, as Ethan’s voice came to her ears, she turned her head, ready to respond with "Okay," when Ethan’s enlarged face appeared in her vision, his moist lips gently covering hers.

Even though it only lasted three seconds, Serena felt as if half a century had passed, her upper body stiff on the wheelchair, dazedly watching Ethan purse his lips, smiling tenderly at her.

How long had it been since she saw him smile.

"Miss Quinn!"

The affectionate display was too much for Zoe, who couldn’t bear it, crying as she ran out.
