CHAPTER 75: CHAPTER 75: NO, SHE DOESN’T NEED IT

"Serena, if that scumbag Ethan bullies you, you have to tell me."

Anna Morgan returned to her seat, reminding Serena Sullivan.

"Okay." Serena smiled and replied.

"But strangely, Ethan doesn’t seem that bad to you. Look, you’re about to marry him, and once you marry him, you’re entering The Grant Corporation. Not only that, but you’re also becoming the Chief Designer. When Zoe Quinn set you up, Ethan Grant directly shut her down."

"Do you think he still has feelings for you? If he still loves you, then you two will be pretty good together for this lifetime."

"He should be responsible for your life since he didn’t answer your call initially."

Anna rambled on, while Serena sipped her red wine, saying lightly, "No one has the right to bind someone for a lifetime."

Anna had asked her earlier if she had any worries, and she said no.

She lied to Anna.

Because she realized some things are not as they seem!

Ethan Grant, is he feeling guilty and trying to compensate?

No, she doesn’t need it!

At eight fifty, Anna Morgan saw Serena Sullivan out, and when the man appeared with a cold face, she was startled.

Why is Ethan Grant here? "Give her to me."

Ethan Grant moved his gaze to Serena, and quickly stepped over to bend down and pick her up. Smelling the wine on Serena, he turned his head and glared intensely at Anna.

"You gave her alcohol!"

"I..." Anna inexplicably stepped back, feeling afraid from the chill emanating from Ethan Grant.

Why is his gaze scarier than Finn Chandler’s?

"It’s none of Anna’s business."

In Ethan Grant’s arms, Serena heard and squinted her eyes, softly explaining.

"Hmm."

Thinking Ethan would still be angry with Anna, his expression softened when he heard her, and he looked down at Serena, responding.

A single word, said lightly, yet Anna felt the sound was oddly gentle, soft as cotton.

Looking again, Ethan carefully placed Serena inside the car, as if positioning the most precious treasure, afraid his slightest movement would shatter the fragile gem.

The car started and the sound of the departing vehicle faded. Anna finally came to her senses as she watched.

She might be simple-minded, but she noticed something was off.

Anna took out her phone, sending a message to Finn Chandler’s number.

"When will you come over? I feel Ethan isn’t that annoying to Serena."

"In a month."

"In a month?" Anna panicked. How could Finn take so long to come back? From her first confrontation with Ethan Grant, she knew she’s no match for him.

"You should come back quickly, I can’t fight Ethan." Anna followed her words with several crying emojis.

"Didn’t you say he’s not annoying to Serena? Why should I rush back?" The text quickly returned, Finn’s attitude firm, leaving Anna wanting to cry but unable.

What on earth are Finn and Serena up to? One determined to return and avenge Joel Quinn and Zoe Quinn, yet marrying Ethan Grant achieves nothing. It would be better to join The Sullivan Corporation and directly tear into them. Another unwilling to come back to help.

Poor her, knowing nothing, yet cowering with a single glare from Ethan Grant!
