CHAPTER 79: CHAPTER 79: IN HER CONDITION, WHAT IS THERE LEFT TO CHOOSE?

Joel Quinn and Claire Sullivan were both stunned to see Ethan Grant come out.

Claire Sullivan had argued with the old man and went out to find Joel Quinn. Joel Quinn dragged her over to apologize to the old man, and it was during this gap that Ethan Grant arrived.

Before he could dial, he noticed that Ethan Grant’s attention was on Serena Sullivan. Not only did he ignore them, but he also didn’t even glance their way.

"Your grandfather is waiting for you inside."

Ethan Grant said in a calm voice as he bent down to lift Serena Sullivan from her wheelchair.

Suddenly being picked up again, Serena Sullivan nearly screamed in surprise. Was Ethan Grant addicted to holding her, or was he just putting on a show for others?

The two of them headed toward the villa, Claire Sullivan staring at them dazedly, feeling increasingly that something was off with how Ethan Grant was treating Serena Sullivan.

Could Ethan Grant have fallen for Serena again?

Beside her, Joel Quinn’s expression darkened, his gentle features replaced by coldness and resentment, with no trace of amusement left, only an icy hostility.

"Joel, what do you think Ethan Grant means by this?"

"I don’t know." Joel Quinn turned his head away, thoughtfully looking at Serena Sullivan’s wheelchair in the yard, and said slowly, "Serena is beautiful, maybe Ethan Grant wants her too."

"No way!"

Claire Sullivan’s voice grew anxious. She didn’t approve of Ethan Grant being with Serena, especially since Zoe liked him so much!

"By the way." Joel Quinn wrapped his arm around Claire Sullivan’s waist as they walked out of the courtyard, lowering his voice.

Being held in his embrace, a smile quickly surfaced on Claire Sullivan’s face.

"Last time, you mentioned helping Serena find a boyfriend. I might have someone in mind!"

"Really, who is it?"

Claire Sullivan’s eyes lit up. Ethan Grant appeared twice promptly in front of Serena, no, including the day after their wedding, it should be the third day.

This situation made her extremely uneasy.

She had finally found happiness, and no one could ruin that, not even Serena.
