Mr. Sterling, Mrs. Sterling is Multifaceted!
Chapter 154: I Don’t Pretend to Be Virtuous
CHAPTER 154: CHAPTER 154: I DON’T PRETEND TO BE VIRTUOUS
Nathan Ayers stood behind Ethan Sterling and gestured at the bodyguard standing in the corner.
The bodyguard immediately stepped forward, pulling out the gun from his waist and pressing it against the waiter’s head.
The waiter immediately fell to his knees, tears streaming down: "Young Master Sterling! It’s my fault! I was momentarily blinded by greed and took money from Young Master Crawford, switched Miss Shaw’s drink, it’s my fault! It’s my fault!"
"You..."
Caleb Crawford wanted to stand up and argue, but there was nothing to say, turning pale instantly.
"Why do some people always like to betray me?"
Ethan Sterling sat in place and furrowed his brows slightly, his handsome face full of frost. After a while, he spoke emotionlessly, "Break his legs and throw him out. If he can still stay in Sovereign, then Nathan, you can leave too."
"Alright, Young Master Sterling." Nathan Ayers nodded, waving at the bodyguard: "Break his legs and throw him out, then spread the word in the industry, anyone who employs him is against The Sterling Family."
"No! Young Master Sterling! I know I was wrong! Young Master Sterling!"
After the waiter was dragged out, a scream echoed from outside, and the room instantly fell silent.
Selena Quinn put down her glass, her face also pale: "Sorry, Ethan, I failed to manage the staff."
"You managing the staff, better manage yourself first."
Ethan Sterling spoke coldly, with no kindness on his face.
Selena Quinn stood in place, not daring to speak, her eyes reddening.
No one dared to speak.
Ethan Sterling looked at Caleb Crawford standing in his position, spoke coldly: "Are you waiting for me to throw you out too?"
Caleb Crawford stood in place, trembling instantly from those words, looking like he was near death.
"Young Master Sterling... I’m sorry! I..."
"Doing such things in The Sterling Family, do you think I, Ethan Sterling, am blind?"
Ethan Sterling’s voice was icy and his face looked bad: "The Crawford Family, right? Nathan."
Seraphina Redgrave saw Nathan Ayers walk to Ethan Sterling’s side, speaking considerately: "Young Master Sterling, The Crawford Family has always depended on Sterling’s port to export their goods."
"Stop it."
Ethan Sterling spoke without thinking.
"Alright, Young Master Sterling."
Nathan Ayers immediately took out his phone and sent a message.
Caleb Crawford stood in place, his face pale: "Young Master Sterling, I really didn’t want to cause trouble for The Sterling Family, I was just angry for a moment, because Sylvia Shaw humiliated me first, so I wanted to teach her a lesson."
Seraphina Redgrave sat in place, saying nothing.
Ethan Sterling glanced at Seraphina Redgrave, his eyes devoid of any emotion: "Really? What did she do?"
"She said our consortium was hypocritical, so I got angry."
Caleb Crawford immediately spoke, his eyes filled with malice and hope.
Speaking of consortia, Sterling is the largest in Z country, such words would certainly make him angry.
Ethan Sterling looked at Seraphina Redgrave, smirked: "Really?"
Everyone watched Ethan Sterling nervously, unsure what he would do to Seraphina Redgrave.
Seraphina Redgrave herself had no idea what Ethan Sterling intended but had no intention to hide, simply nodding: "Yes, I said it."
Ethan Sterling sat still, quietly watching her, nobody knew what he intended.
Time slowly passed.
Not to mention Caleb Crawford, everyone had cold sweat on their faces.
Suddenly, Ethan Sterling smiled, commented: "Quite good, but I’m different, I never pretend to be virtuous."
He was evil, deliberately showing it openly.
His consortium represented evil, only doing things benefiting itself.
Everyone in the room stared wide-eyed, shocked by Ethan Sterling’s words.
Young Master Sterling, is this really the point? It’s not, right?
Seeing this scene, Nathan Ayers didn’t wait any longer, immediately gestured to the bodyguards, and two of them came forward, dragging the completely stunned Caleb Crawford away.
Seraphina Redgrave was speechless too, looking at Ethan Sterling, wondering if he was speaking for her?
Was the dance incident resolved just like that?
Everyone glanced at each other, wondering if Ethan Sterling had fallen for Seraphina Redgrave?
To be so biased in favor of her.
Serena Lowell stood in place, feeling full of jealousy, why did everyone like Seraphina Redgrave, what was good about her apart from her looks.
"Sylvia, sorry, I didn’t notice the waiter tampering with things earlier, almost got you bullied."
Selena Quinn stood in place, looking at Seraphina Redgrave with full regret.
If it were someone else, they might let it slide, but Seraphina Redgrave just sat there, not even glancing at Selena: "No worries, Student Quinn, better get your eyes checked when you have time, don’t delay your health."
Selena Quinn, being rebuffed by Ethan Sterling and Seraphina Redgrave, couldn’t stay calm anymore, starting to cough, her face instantly pale.
She sat down saying nothing.
The room was silently uncomfortable, when suddenly the door opened from outside, everyone looked up to see Dad Lynch and several other consortium heads entering, holding glasses.
"Young Master Sterling, I have always admired your decisiveness, so I’m here with everyone to toast you, please don’t hold it against us."
Dad Lynch praised almost endlessly, taking red wine from the maid, personally filling Ethan Sterling’s glass.
The nearby consortium heads weren’t outdone, praising Ethan Sterling intensely.
Ethan Sterling remained in his seat, not even standing.
Serena Lowell looked at Dad Lynch, then Ethan Sterling, recalling what Selena Quinn said.
If she could let Dad Lynch and Ethan Sterling know about the ambiguity between Seraphina Redgrave and Leo Lynch, Seraphina Redgrave would be done.
But Caleb Crawford just now...
She didn’t really dare.
What if Ethan Sterling was unreasonably favoring Seraphina Redgrave?
Serena Lowell wanted to act but hesitated, sitting in place contemplating, should she take action?
Thinking this, sweating profusely, suddenly a white handkerchief was handed to her.
"Selena gave it to you."
The girl next to her spoke.
Serena Lowell accepted the handkerchief, looking at the weakened Selena Quinn, seeing her smile slightly and nod at her, signaling Serena to wipe her sweat.
Selena Quinn treated her so well.
Selena Quinn could completely disregard status and treat her so well, besides having been mocked by Seraphina Redgrave, for the sake of herself and Selena, she should take action.
Even if there’s no good outcome, Selena Quinn would surely speak for her.
While they toasted over there, Serena Lowell suddenly smiled: "Young Master Lynch, your father is here, won’t you and Seraphina Redgrave go toast Young Master Sterling together?"
This statement left everyone present stunned.
What do you mean by toast together, are those two related?
All the people at the table were dumbfounded.
Leo Lynch raised his eyes abruptly, Seraphina Redgrave sat in place, her face turning extremely cold.
Tonight’s banquet certainly had people endlessly causing trouble for her, Caleb Crawford just left, and now came Serena Lowell.
However, Serena Lowell’s statement was indeed better than Caleb Crawford’s antics, if Ethan Sterling tolerated everything before, now with his jealousy, he might admit the relationship on the spot.
