Mr. Sterling, Mrs. Sterling is Multifaceted!
Chapter 161: Does Your Hand Hurt?
CHAPTER 161: CHAPTER 161: DOES YOUR HAND HURT?
Upon hearing this, Ethan Sterling’s eyes darkened as he looked at her, and it was a long time before he spoke: "Isn’t it good to have an attack?"
Seraphina Redgrave listened, momentarily stunned.
He has always been reluctant to go upstairs, just wanting to trigger an attack.
As soon as he has an attack, he can completely lose his rationality and disregards his mother’s instructions, immediately seeking revenge on Ryan Sterling.
She grabbed Ethan’s hand on her shoulder, speaking expressionlessly: "Hope for something better."
"Alright."
Ethan gazed at Seraphina as he spoke.
Under Ethan’s gaze, Seraphina awkwardly looked away.
She could almost imagine the words Ethan did not say: Because you’re here, I’m willing to give myself a good ending.
The shot she fired was purely out of disapproval for Ryan Sterling’s despicable behavior, driving his legitimate wife to death and still insulting his mother in front of his son.
"Does it hurt?"
Seraphina was confused, looking at him with puzzlement: "Hurt what?"
"The recoil of the gun."
Ethan looked down at Seraphina’s hand, his eyes full of concern.
Seraphina also lowered her head, looked at her own hand, and shook her head: "No, but I’m afraid your father won’t let me live in peace anymore."
Ryan knows Ethan doesn’t dare to do anything to him, so wouldn’t he easily make a move on her?
"Afraid yet still dare to act?"
Hearing this, Ethan curled his lips, lightly pinching Seraphina’s face: "Shouldn’t I say that to you? Seraphina, have you fallen in love with me?"
Being willing to do such a thing for him.
What exactly is this man thinking?
Seraphina didn’t know what to say, attempting to mock him in his own tone, but held back for the sake of their peaceful coexistence.
Ethan touched Seraphina’s petite nose: "You love me so much, how could I bear to let you get into trouble."
It was getting stranger and stranger.
"Starting tomorrow, the couple and their subordinates will stay in the old Sterling Family residence and won’t be able to step out." Ethan spoke.
Hearing this, Seraphina finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Wanna eat? I’m not done."
Seraphina entered the bathroom, washed her hands, and walked to the terrace.
Ethan glanced at the wine and vinegar, raising an eyebrow: "It’s cold, let Nathan Ayers make another one."
Seraphina glanced at the untouched dishes on the plate, casually said: "It doesn’t matter if it’s cold."
If she didn’t eat it, it would be too wasteful; she had gotten used to intermittent meals in the restricted area.
Ethan sat down, snorting coldly: "Doesn’t matter? You’ll know when you have an upset stomach."
Ethan had so many issues.
"Not eating?" Seraphina also sat down.
"Not eating."
"Then ask Nathan Ayers to send some more, I’ll just finish a bit more."
Seraphina sat down and picked up a piece of sushi, placing it in her mouth.
Before she could chew, Ethan suddenly loomed closer, his amber eyes enlarging before her eyes.
She looked up, feeling the soft touch on her lips, as Ethan’s unique breath drew the food out of her mouth.
Ethan straightened up, by then the sushi was already in Ethan’s mouth, he seriously chewed and said: "Not bad."
So childish.
Seraphina sat there, not minding losing the sushi; now, her nostrils were full of Ethan’s scent.
She looked at the dish on the table, this time knowing what to do, directly picking up fruit and sealing it tightly in her mouth.
Yet, Ethan still wouldn’t let her go, standing up and kissing her lips again, this time taking the fruit from her mouth completely.
"Do you have to eat what’s in my mouth?"
Seraphina didn’t know what to say.
Ethan was evidently pleased with Seraphina’s reaction, a slight smirk lifting even as a hint of red hadn’t completely faded from his eyes: "We’ve done more intimate things already, isn’t it a bit late to dislike me now?"
It seemed to make sense.
Seraphina was truly speechless, setting down her chopsticks and not picking them back up.
"Let me feed you."
Ethan, however, became interested, picking up a yogurt rabbit with chopsticks, bringing it to her lips.
"I’m full."
Seraphina didn’t want to engage in another saliva exchange with Ethan.
"Alright."
Ethan withdrew the chopsticks.
Seraphina hadn’t yet felt relieved when Ethan suddenly darted close, shoving the dessert into her mouth, then swiftly taking back the yogurt rabbit.
Her fists clenched, hardened.
Seraphina wanted to pin Ethan to the ground and beat him; why on earth did she take a bite just now?
Ethan can say whatever he wants below; wouldn’t she be better off just eating and then going straight to sleep?
"Really tasty."
Ethan looked at Seraphina, who was too angry to speak, his eyes filled with even more amusement.
After all the fuss, Ethan denounced the cold food and yet ate more than she did, the table was nearly cleared of dishes.
The sky began to turn pale.
The sun was about to rise.
They really spent the whole night.
A servant came in to clear the table.
Seraphina stood on the terrace, looking at the whitening sky, taking a deep breath of the cool air.
"My sister loved watching the sunrise here when she was little."
The man’s voice reached Seraphina’s ears.
Seraphina didn’t need to turn around to know Ethan stood beside her, she saw his long, strong fingers gripping the dew-covered railing.
"Is this your sister’s room?"
Seraphina understood.
"Yes."
Ethan nodded: "She wrote me a letter too, the last one, very long, not really about anything important, just telling me the world is beautiful, to stay alive, and if I got the chance to come to her room, it was the place she felt safest."
So Ethan moved in now.
Pretty nice.
Seraphina stood still, looking into the distance.
The patch of white on the horizon grew bigger, gradually lighting up the whole sky.
The sun was about to rise.
Seraphina quietly watched, her side felt the piercing gaze watching her profile, Seraphina didn’t need to turn around to know who it was.
The gaze was intense, without even a hint of avoidance.
Seraphina couldn’t ignore it, had to turn around.
Her eyes met Ethan’s in the air, and his still slightly reddened eyes with amber irises stared intently at her, raising his hand as if to touch her face then lowering it, seeing his hand still had dew on it.
The sun gradually climbed over the distant mountains.
The horizon’s clouds were tinted a beautiful golden hue.
Very beautiful.
"Like watching the sunrise?"
Ethan’s gaze remained fixed on Seraphina.
Seraphina shook her head: "In the restricted area I saw the sunrise every day, no buildings to block the light, whether I wanted to or not, I had to watch it, the sunrise meant another day without hope."
She had enough of watching hopeless days in the restricted area.
Wondering how many have died there now, and how many are still waiting for her return.
