Mr. Tycoon's Beloved Wife: The Madam No One Dares to Offend
Chapter 113: What’s Wrong with Her Bad Temper?
CHAPTER 113: WHAT’S WRONG WITH HER BAD TEMPER?
Seeing the cable car slowly sliding towards the deep jungle, the staff member shivered at a gust of cold wind.
Bruce and Hilla had gone far. What should he do? His communication tool was still in that cable car.
He suddenly realized something and groped for his phone in the pocket. To his disappointment, he had no signal on his phone.
"Damn it! How dare they attack the staff member?"
He growled, but Bruce and Hilla couldn’t hear it at all.
It was dark outside. The cable car was lit up. They felt warmer and warmer.
"Look, Bruce, it’s charming!"
Although it was far from the city’s center, they could still see the neon lights and the ferry wheel beaming.
She had never known that she lived in such a beautiful city.
She was overjoyed, fascinating by the view of the city.
Looking at her little face under the glow, Bruce answered, "Yes, it’s beautiful."
"Is that the Skyscraper Building? Is the Anderson Group locates next to it?" I have never known that the building of the Anderson Group is so short in height."
Really?
Bruce was stunned and immediately looked through the window. Compared to the Skyscraper Building, a landmark of River City, it was shorter.
Bruce frowned and stared at the Skyscraper Building. Hatred towards it passed down his dark eyes.
He was upset and thought to himself, "Why did they erect several more stories at that time?"
"However, the building of the Anderson Group is the most beautiful, shining like the stars in the night sky."
Bruce thought that it was just a matter of money. With more money, they could have more lights.
"Is that the Anderson’s mansion?"
The Anderson villa was located in the middle of the mountain, which was far from the city. Thus, it was easy to recognize at night according to its lights.
Hilla frowned and said in a small voice, "It’s really far from the city. With few residents around, it looks a bit deserted."
Hilla couldn’t help but hold her chin while listening to the low rumbling of the cables, "It’s better to stay in the bustling city."
Bruce followed Hilla’s gaze and looked at the city.
The River City was illuminated with neon lights, like a prosperous metropolitan city.
Hilla was still in her twenties. She was a young lady who loved to stay in the city. As Bruce was more mature than her, he was happy to stay somewhere quiet.
There was the point. Hilla preferred to stay in the city while Bruce the countryside.
He suddenly remembered that Hilla had once advised him to buy houses to profit from them. However, Bruce would not do such things even though the Anderson’s Group invested in real estate.
He might give Hilla all his houses in the urban city.
"Bruce, where are we going to?"
When Hilla saw a few houses below, she finally realized that they had gone far.
Bruce followed her gaze and said, "The destination."
The destination?
Hilla was stunned for a moment and then said in surprise, "Don’t we have to spend the night here tonight? Don’t we have to suffer from cold and hunger anymore? That’s great."
Hilla was overjoyed at Bruce’s words, but Bruce regretted saying that.
It was late. Should they stay in a hotel or return to the Anderson’s mansion?
What if they didn’t go back?
They would spend a whole night here.
"Although I didn’t shoot to my hearts’ content, I am still happy that we can go back home. I haven’t finished my homework yet."
Bruce finally understood.
The cable car suddenly stopped. Hilla was stunned and immediately pressed her head on the window, "Why did it stop?"
"It was probably out of power!"
How could that happen? It still lit up inside.
Hilla frowned, looking at the operation plate, and said, "Have you touched any buttons?"
Bruce was a little nervous, and he said in a low voice, "No, I haven’t. It was indeed out of power."
"It went out of power at an awkward time. It doesn’t matter. We can have more
shootings tomorrow!"
Although there wasn’t enough room for them to sleep, it was better to stay here than in the forest.
"We have to stay here tonight."
Then she took out the wine from her bag and had a drink.
Drinking a little wine could keep her warm.
When Bruce noticed that Hilla had mentioned "us," he could not help but smile slightly, "Okay. We will shoot to our hearts’ content tomorrow."
He felt more energetic and happy after falling in love with Hilla.
It was great to play shootings with her.
"Do you want some?"
With the wind blowing strongly in the forest, Hilla felt a little dizzy.
Hilla rubbed the space between her eyebrows and mumbled, "Bruce, I feel dizzy and sleepy."
Looking at her red cheeks and rosy lips under the light, Bruce felt a little horny.
Hilla leaned her head against the glass of the window and slowly closed her eyes.
Her eyelashes were long and dark.
She was having a sound sleep. Bruce came closer to look at her face and asked in a low voice, "Hilla, Are you drunken?"
Hilla didn’t reply to him, probably because she was tired.
However, she could still feel Bruce’s breath.
She shook her head slightly and touched Bruce’s lips.
Bruce was stunned for a moment and quickly lowered his head to kiss her.
The ferry wheel was at its highest point. And it was 0’o clock.
It is said that the couples, who kissed each other at this time, would be together forever.
...
It was already the morning when Hilla woke up. The lights of the ferry wheels had been darkened.
She had slept on Bruce’s lap for the entire night, being covered by his camouflage. The wine bottle was empty. Did Bruce drink all the wine left?
Hilla raised her head and saw Bruce leaning against the glass with his elbow propping up his head.
He was sleeping quietly. Under the morning sunlight, he looked more charming.
Hilla had once liked those male celebrities on TV.
She had also crushed on young and handsome youths.
That was admiration instead of love. To her, she would choose some who was of the same age and shared common interests as her future husband.
She had never thought that she would get married to Bruce. Although she did it for some reason, she was still shocked at Bruce’s appearance.
Bruce looked somewhat gloomy. With the passage of time, she thought that Bruce was attractive.
Sometimes age doesn’t matter a lot. Bruce was calm, constrained, and responsible.
Those young male celebrities were immature and unreliable.
It was easier for females to get old. Although Bruce was older than her, he was good.
Moreover, being successful in his career, Bruce was a perfect lover that many women yearned for.
She would not give way to other women.
As Hilla thought about it, she couldn’t help but smile proudly. She was lucky to have Bruce as her husband.
Hilla seemed to be still in a daze. She came close to Bruce and kissed him. Then she said in a low voice, "Wake up, Bruce."
It was said that thin-lipped were fickle. Hilla didn’t believe it and thought that Bruce was all good.
Bruce seemed to hear her words and slowly opened her eyes.
Bruce’s eyes were dark and bright. When he was sleeping, he was like a child.
Hilla smiled and kissed him again, "It’s time for us to leave."
Bruce was stunned for a moment. Out of shock, he even dared not breathe out.
It seemed that Hilla had changed overnight.
It was indeed a great surprise to him early in the morning.
Bruce held her head in his hands and shook it, "Are you still drunken?"
Hilla frowned and took away his hands, "No, I just wanted to give you a morning kiss."
Hilla was a little proud of herself to be so smart.
Bruce felt relaxed and looked at Hilla. He said in a hoarse voice, "Should I kiss you back?"
When she regained her senses, she felt embarrassed.
She immediately covered her red face and shook her head." No, no. You have bad breath."
Bruce was lost for words. Hearing her words, he didn’t kiss her.
The cable car slid down to an abandoned factory.
"We have already entered the M6 area. Should we go forward?"
There were thirty enemies in this area, among which half of them were in this small factory house.
This factory house was of great importance, which needed guarding by so many people.
"Follow behind me."
Bruce stepped forward and was pulled back by Hilla. "We might as well give up. There are more than a dozen of them here. We can’t handle them. Let’s move to another place!"
Bruce smiled and said. They aren’t that smart to play any military tricks. Here must be the destination, for there are so many people guarding.
Only with the red flag would they be able to leave here quickly. Otherwise, they would have to wait until dawn, when the game time would be over.
He glanced at the timer on his wrist. One day was a little long to them. They didn’t have any food with them. They should go somewhere else to find something to eat, or they would have to starve for the whole day.
Hilla didn’t want to lose weight, nor did she want to starve.
She nodded and said, "I’ll go left and you right. Let’s outflank them!"
Hilla was still a little worried that Bruce would drag her down. Although Bruce could shoot accurately, he might not be the rival of them in close combat!
She hoped that they wouldn’t take the initiative to attack.
Bruce was about to say no. Although what Hilla had said was right, it was still dangerous for them two!
However, Hilla had already burrowed into the weeds and disappeared.
He frowned helplessly and thought it didn’t matter as long as they could "die" together.
He could do with these people. If Hilla "died" first, he would seek revenge for her.
Hilla turned over the low wall and then quickly hid in the waste materials around. Hilla’s movements were so fast that the enemies in the yard did not even discover her.
Hilla pressed the silencer and aimed at two enemies. The two enemies "died" after Hilla shoot two times.
The two players even didn’t realize that they "had died."
Then another three enemies "died."
Bruce gestured to Hilla, and Hilla quickly got into the factory room through an old window.
Bruce thought to himself, "Hilla is an activist. She always takes actions first before he could speak."
"Why did you hit us?"
Hearing someone roared in the factory house, Bruce immediately rushed towards it.
The scene in it shocked him.
Hilla pressed five men onto the ground. The five men even had no time to touch their guns.
They were lying on the ground. One of them shouted angrily, "What the hell are you doing? Didn’t you see the rules? Fighting and physical injuries are forbidden. I will report you to the boss!"
Bruce thought he would have to pay for the compensation fee.
...
Hilla looked down at the man who was criticizing her and then said to Bruce innocently, "Is there such a rule?"
Bruce pursed his lips and said, "No, there isn’t."
The five men were stunned and looked at Bruce and Hilla in disbelief. How could they be so rude? Every player must read the rules first.
"You, you are ... going too far!"
The man was wronged.
Hilla had come into the factory house and beaten them up without saying anything.
Two of the five men seemed to break their arms.
Hilla was indeed a female tiger.
How could she do that to them? They were wondering whether Hilla was unhappy with her married life.
"I will report you to the boss."
Bruce nodded and said, "I’ll pay for the medical fees and compensation fees for my wife."
Bruce added, "I am richer than your boss!"
Then he looked at Hilla proudly.
"She has gone too far. How could she beat us up without saying anything? She is..."
Before the man could finish his words, a dart landed on the ground in front of him. He was so scared that he could not stop trembling. The dart almost hit him on the head!
His forehead was wet with cold sweat. He raised his eyelids and saw Bruce staring at him with his dark eyes. He said coldly, "She is my wife. My wife is so beautiful. What’s wrong with her bad temper? How can you bully her? What do you want?"
Bruce said these words to threaten them.
He didn’t want to compensate but kill them.
The five men were upset that they had encountered Bruce and Hilla. One beat them up without saying anything. The other said he would compensate them but he threatened their lives.
The dart was indeed life-threatening.
The man suddenly felt a little dizzy and said with a hoarse voice, "Please, please spare my life!"
He dared not to offend Bruce and Hilla.
"I know that killing people is illegal."
Hilla explained, which meant that she didn’t want any of their lives.
However, the man thought Hilla wanted to kill them with darts.
Bruce nodded and said seriously, "My wife said that she would not kill anyone."
The words frightened the man even more.
"What do you want?"
The man trembled and only said this after a long time.
Hilla said, "Where is your destination? Where is the red flag?"
When the five men heard this, they immediately shut up. They couldn’t tell Bruce and Hilla. They were fouling.
Hilla was stunned. She looked at Bruce and said, "Darling, they don’t want to tell us."
Bruce was smitten with her words. He said after a few seconds, "I’ll play other two darts."
"It’s, it’s upstairs. It’s on top of the top floor."
They were so frightened that they immediately pointed at the stairs not far away.
They hoped that Bruce and Hilla could spare them as soon as possible.
"There must be people on guard? How many are they?"
"Five. They are the best coaches and shooters in our field."
They told Bruce and Hilla all they knew. It would have nothing to do with them if Bruce and Hilla were killed by those people upstairs.
"I see! Do you know each other?"
Hilla put on a sweet smile, looking innocent. She asked and blinked her bright and dark eyes.
They hesitated for a moment and then nodded.
Hilla was satisfied with their honesty. She helped one of them up and said, "Please bring us upstairs!"
"But we are all dead!"
They didn’t want to show the way for Bruce and Hilla. However, Hilla hadn’t fired a single shot at all. She just suppressed them by force. As long as they didn’t activate equipment on their bodies, they wouldn’t "die."
When they realized that, they looked mournful.
If they went upstairs with Bruce and Hilla, they would be killed first. How could Bruce and Hilla be so cruel?
They had never met people like Bruce and Hilla before.
"If you don’t go, I will break your legs and drag you there. Don’t worry, I’m skilled in that. You will be pain-free."
When they heard "pain-free", several men shivered and looked at the two men on the ground with pain and cold sweat on their faces.
They didn’t believe it would be "pain-free".
"Okay, okay. We will lead the way for you."
Hilla curled up her lips with satisfaction. She grabbed two men in the lead and then heard several light gunshots.
When she turned around, she found the rest were already dead. Bruce said coldly with a gun in hand, "Now you ’die’!"
All the people present were looking at Bruce in disbelief.
The two men thought it would be better to "die".
The attic was very narrow, with only a small wooden staircase. If people ambushed here, they would be easily attacked when they went upstairs.
Their footsteps were very light, but they still alarmed the people upstairs. They stopped halfway, and one of them downstairs asked, "Harry, do you want to have a drink?"
Hearing this, the people upstairs lowered their guard and answered, "Dame it. Two people have stolen Lance’s cable car. We might as well go for a drink another day. The two thieves probably will attack us."
"Don’t worry. They won’t come in. By the way, I bought a roast chicken."
"Roasted chicken. I like it, Harry."
"I’m hungry too!"
"Alright, alright. Call another two men to go downstairs. It’s time for the meal. We can only eat chicken and not drink."
They were excited and soon heard footsteps.
Bruce and Hilla quickly exchanged a look, and then they started to shoot.
Two of the enemies "died."
Then another young man who ran inside to call others also "died."
The two people inside heard the noise and came out with guns. They immediately started shooting towards the stairs.
They shot a few times and killed two people.
However, the dead were "captives" instead of their "real enemies".
How could they kill their teammates? All of their teammates were killed, but their enemies were still alive.
"They are so stupid. Are they all pigs? Let’s go and give them the red flag."
Harry was so angry that he threw away his hat that had caught fire. He walked to a man whose body was smoking. He rolled his eyes and said, "It’s you who wanted to eat roast chicken, right?"
The man was speechless. It was Bruce and Hilla who forced him.
