Just as the shadow was about to launch another attack, suddenly, Li Baiyu's illusion of Cong Nanxue became more and more real. It was as if Cong Nanxue was standing right beside her, smiling at her.

"Cong Nanxue, is that you?" Li Baiyu asked softly, her eyes showing confusion and delight.

The shadow took advantage of the moment to launch an attack, a black longsword appearing in his hand, gleaming with a strange light, as it stabbed towards Li Baiyu. Shen Jingqi and the others were shocked by the sight, rushing towards Li Baiyu to save her.
