Multiverse Conquest Starting from Dragon Ball
Chapter 341 - 212 Wish Upon the Super Dragon Balls Part 2
So, asking for personal power-ups was out of the question.
As for his younger sister, Jiang Xi, she didn't need anything right now.
Thus, the most stable choice, the safest for the multiverse, was to restore this universe's original flow of time.
"Your wish is simple."
Buzz...
The glowing crimson eyes of Super Shenron radiated beams of divine light, instantly flooding the entire Seventh Universe. These Super Dragon Balls had once undone even the annihilation caused by Zen'ō, the King of All Realms. Manipulating time and space was child's play for them.
The scarlet light spread out, washing across galaxies like a divine tide.
In the next moment, the Seventh Universe's very fabric began to shift.
"Boom! Rumble!"
Thunderous reverberations shook the cosmos.
"Crash!"
Illusions of tides rose, and the river of time rippled and surged in layered waves.
…
Planet Earth,
In the space where nothing had existed, a familiar planet began to materialize. Then scenes began to play out on its surface, life returned, energy swirled, and images of the past formed anew.
Before long, familiar vistas reappeared.
Unlike Jiang Chen's original universe, this timeline had only reached the point just a few years after Son Goku had defeated Piccolo Daimaō.
But it wasn't just Earth being restored.
Kaiōshin Realm,
The shattered lands of the Kaiōshin Realm reassembled with astonishing speed, as if rewinding time itself.
Then, within the once-ruined realm, two figures slowly came into view.
"I... I thought I was dead?"
The East Kaiōshin opened his eyes. As a Supreme Kai, he could immediately sense that time had reverted to an earlier trajectory. His brows furrowed in confusion, his expression filled with unease.
"Lord East Kaiōshin!"
Kibito stood beside him, clueless to the temporal anomaly but filled with relief. His voice was respectful as ever.
"Kibito..." The East Kaiōshin turned to him with narrowed eyes, his confusion only deepening. But before he could speak further, he sensed two unfamiliar energies approaching not far off.
"There's someone nearby, Kibito!"
With a gesture, he rose into the sky.
"Someone?"
Kibito looked startled. Focusing his senses, he quickly located the two approaching figures in the distance.
"Impossible! This is the Kaiōshin Realm, the highest plane of existence in the universe. How could a mortal reach this place?" Shock painted his face. But he followed closely behind regardless.
Moments later, the figures came into view.
The sight of a swaying monkey-like tail behind the girl caused the East Kaiōshin's eyes to narrow even further.
"A Saiyan?" He murmured, clearly puzzled.
His gaze then shifted to the old man beside her. The aura coming off the elder was strange, eerily familiar, like a flicker from the ancient past.
The Great Kaiōshin...?
The thought stirred uneasily within him.
"Don't come any closer, brat!" A raspy voice cut through the air, the Old Kaiōshin raised his hand, his tone sharp with authority.
"What nonsense are you spouting? That's the most exalted divine being in the universe, Lord East Kaiōshin!" Kibito barked, unable to hide his indignation.
But the moment he finished, the Old Kaiōshin turned his eyes toward him.
In that instant, Kibito felt a staggering wave of pressure slam into him like a tidal force.
His body froze. His energy trembled. He realized immediately, this old man wasn't someone to take lightly.
"Thud!"
Under the crushing weight of dimensional pressure, he instinctively stumbled backward. His purplish-red face flushed deeper, beads of sweat beginning to slide down his forehead.
"What... what is this pressure? Who exactly are you?!" Sensing this overwhelming aura, the East Kaiōshin finally reacted. His eyes widened in disbelief, voice trembling with shock.
"You don't recognize me? Have the Kaiōshin really fallen so far? I'm the Supreme Kai from fifteen generations ago! Enough with the chatter!" The Old Kaiōshin waved a hand irritably, clearly annoyed.
"Fifteen generations...?!" The East Kaiōshin gasped, his voice shaking. The number was hard to process, his own generation had already served for over a million years. Fifteen generations ago was practically prehistoric.
"Ancestor..."
He instinctively tried to speak again, but a sharp glare from the Old Kaiōshin made him fall silent.
The Old Kaiōshin closed his eyes and raised his hand, preparing to begin.
Whether it was awakening latent potential or initiating the training of a future Supreme Kai, such a ritual was no simple feat. Even with his centuries of experience, the Old Kaiōshin had to concentrate fully.
Time slipped by in silence.
Jiang Xi's potential was staggering, far surpassing what the Old Kaiōshin had seen when he awakened Son Gohan.
And so, the process stretched on. Before anyone realized it, three full days had passed.
Then, just after the third sunrise,
"Whoosh!"
A spatial ripple flickered through the Kaiō God Realm. In the next instant, Jiang Chen's form materialized directly before the East Kaiōshin and Kibito.
"Who are you?!"
Both deities jumped in shock. Very few mortals could enter the Kaiō God Realm, and even fewer without being noticed.
"No need to panic. I'm not an enemy." Jiang Chen's voice was calm, and a faint smile tugged at the corners of his mouth as he glanced toward the startled deities.
With the Seventh Universe restored to its proper timeline, he could clearly sense that both Kaiōshin had been revived.
Which also meant... Beerus, the God of Destruction, was likely back as well.
"State your name," Kibito demanded, his brow furrowed warily.
"Me?" Jiang Chen tilted his head. "I'm a Time and Space Patroller. You can call me Aspara."
"A... Time and Space Patroller?" Kibito and the East Kaiōshin exchanged confused glances.
The term meant nothing to them, clearly, they had never received formal instruction on the multiverse hierarchy or the forces maintaining its balance.
"Hmph. You two really are ignorant." The Old Kaiōshin interjected sharply. "Time and Space Patrollers are an elite unit formed by the Kaiōshin of Time, Chronoa herself, to protect the balance of the multiverse."
"The Kaiōshin of Time...? Chronoa?"
The name sounded foreign to both deities, and they looked even more puzzled.
"Ancestor... who is that?" the East Kaiōshin asked hesitantly.
"You fool! Go read for yourself. Don't come back until you've caught up!" Annoyed, the Old Kaiōshin flicked his wrist, summoning a large, ornate book from thin air. It flew directly toward the East Kaiōshin, who caught it with a flustered yelp.
"Y-Yes, Ancestor!"
Kibito stepped forward, worry creasing his brow. "Lord Kaiōshin…"
"Let's go. We should see what this is all about."
The East Kaiōshin gave Jiang Chen one more wary look, then turned to walk away with Kibito in tow. Watching the younger gods leave, Jiang Chen chuckled softly and sat down near the Old Kaiōshin.
"Thank you." The Old Kaiōshin's voice broke the quiet after a moment. "If not for you, the Seventh Universe would have truly been doomed."
As one of the oldest surviving deities, the Old Kaiōshin understood the gravity of the situation. Without a Kaiōshin or a God of Destruction, a universe couldn't remain stable for long. Without balance, chaos would accelerate until everything, matter, time, life itself, collapsed.
And if that collapse were noticed by Zen'ō, the King of All?
There wouldn't be warnings. No second chances.
The entire universe would've been wiped from existence, just like so many others before it.
