But it wasn't just about heroics. This was his sister's timeline, his sister's world. If he didn't step in, any catastrophe that unfolded would be something he couldn't bear to witness.

So Jiang Chen stayed silent, watching as the Old Kaiōshin resumed his mystical rites.

"This aura…" Jiang Chen's brows knitted tightly, and a flicker of genuine shock crossed his face.

The energy radiating from Jiang Xi was so intense that even he, who had seen much, was momentarily taken aback.

"Mystic state?" He muttered, eyes narrowing as he examined Jiang Xi mid-transformation. He immediately recognized the level she had reached.

It was the same realm Gohan had ascended to in the original timeline, a form that exceeded even Super Saiyan 3.

But there was a key difference.

Jiang Xi wasn't just awakening Mystic powers; she was a Legendary Super Saiyan achieving Mystic Ascension. Her strength now eclipsed even that of Son Gohan at his peak.

"She's done it. Although… the raw power within her is too overwhelming. I only managed to draw out a portion. But even this is far superior to your typical Super Saiyan. That path's flawed to begin with." The Old Kaiōshin stood up slowly, dusting off his robe, and spoke with a tinge of reproach in his tone.

"This power…" Jiang Xi opened her eyes. The instant she did, she could feel it, an unshakable wave of divine might coursing through her body.

"Let's test it out!" She said, her voice brimming with excitement.

"Come Xiaoxi." Jiang Chen looked at her, smiling gently.

"Okay! But, big brother… you'd better be careful!" Jiang Xi responded, her golden eyes gleaming with anticipation.

"Don't worry. At your level, you're still not enough to threaten me." Jiang Chen let out a light laugh, and in the next instant, stepped forward.

Boom!

A golden aura exploded around him. His hair rose, spiking upward, lightning crackling across his form. He had entered Super Saiyan 2, the very limit of his current power.

With a two-hundredfold increase in strength, arcs of divine lightning wrapped around his body. His hair shone with radiant gold, and his emerald-green eyes burned like twin suns.

The whole Kaiō God Realm trembled with his presence.

"T-This aura!" Kibito's eyes widened in disbelief. This divine pressure, was it really coming from a mortal?

How could this be possible?

"S-So powerful!" The East Kaiōshin was stunned as well. As one of the gods of creation, he had seen the heights of divine power, but this? This shook his very soul.

"Come at me." Jiang Chen smiled coolly. At a battle power of thirty billion, he now stood equal to Goku's Super Saiyan 3 from the original timeline.

"Alright!" Jiang Xi nodded sharply, and in the next moment, her figure blurred, charging straight toward Jiang Chen.

Boom! Boom! Rumble!

Their clash erupted instantly.

On one side was Jiang Xi in her Mystic state.

On the other was Jiang Chen, burning with the fury of Super Saiyan 2.

Even within the fortified Kaiō God Realm, there was a momentary sensation of space distorting under the pressure of their duel. Of course, that was merely perception. The Realm itself was the most durable location in the Seventh Universe, capable of withstanding the devastation of gods.

Still, the shockwaves made Kibito and the East Kaiōshin below go wide-eyed. They held their breath, afraid even to blink.

After a long moment, someone swallowed audibly. The East Kaiōshin turned slowly to the Old Kaiōshin, his voice barely audible.

"Ancestor… they…" He tried to continue, but the words caught in his throat.

"Are you surprised?" The Old Kaiōshin said with a smirk. "You're witnessing the most elite warriors this universe can offer. I don't know how your teacher trained you, kid, but clearly, you've learned nothing of the real scale of power in this universe."

There was a trace of scorn in his tone.

The East Kaiōshin flushed slightly, unsure of how to respond.

Thankfully, the Old Kaiōshin didn't press further. Instead, he tilted his head toward the sky, eyes gleaming mischievously as if an amusing idea had just struck him.

Meanwhile, high above, Jiang Chen and Jiang Xi continued their battle.

Blow for blow, they were evenly matched.

But gradually, Jiang Xi's Mystic form began to fluctuate. A familiar greenish aura began to rise from within her.

Boom! Crash!

The Legendary Super Saiyan aura began to surge. Sensing the change, Jiang Chen pushed forward and unleashed a counterforce, momentarily knocking Jiang Xi back.

"Alright. Xiaoxi, let's stop here," He said gently. "If we go any further, you might lose control."

His words reached Jiang Xi's ears, helping her gradually calm down from the surge of excitement.

She quickly withdrew her overwhelming aura and then, the two of them gently descended from the sky.

"Whoosh!"

Jiang Xi's cheeks were slightly flushed. Her expression was still brimming with excitement. That brief exchange had awakened something inside her, raw, untapped power coursing through her like a storm.

It was a sensation she had never felt before.

"Such uncontrollable energy… If left unchecked, it will only spiral into chaos. You must learn to temper this power, otherwise, you may be forced to give it up entirely." The Old Kaiōshin's tone was unusually grave as his words echoed across the Divine Realm.

"Lord Old Kaiōshin, could you pass on the methods of divine training to Xiaoxi? It's crucial for her development." Jiang Chen turned to the elder god, his voice earnest and respectful as he spoke.

"Divine training, hmm?" The Old Kaiōshin paused thoughtfully.

"Very well. I can teach her. But understand this, her power borders on the forbidden. Even divine ki may not be enough to rein it in."

He nodded slowly, speaking more to himself than to Jiang Chen.

"Understood. Still, thank you, Lord Old Kaiōshin." Jiang Chen bowed slightly, a smile breaking across his face.

While the Old Kaiōshin didn't hold the same divine stature as someone like Whis, his ancient wisdom and experience in refining divine energy made him the best mentor Jiang Xi could hope for under the current circumstances.

"No need for formalities. I already have this clueless kid to train too," The Old Kaiōshin grumbled, gesturing at the East Kaiōshin. "Adding one more doesn't change much."

Jiang Chen chuckled and lingered for a while longer before preparing to depart.

His visit had been purposeful, checking in on Jiang Xi's progress, evaluating her potential, and seeing if she could be brought into the Time and Space Patrol. Now that her path was clear, there was no urgency. All that remained was for her training to unfold naturally.

"Brother, are you going to see Mom and Dad?" Jiang Xi asked curiously, still standing amidst the divine clouds of the Kaiō God Realm.

"Yeah. Want to come?" Jiang Chen gave her a gentle look.

"Definitely!" Jiang Xi's eyes lit up with joy, nodding immediately.
