CHAPTER 110: SUPPORT

Everyone stared.

And in the center of the chaos, Theo moved like a ghost wrapped in lightning, powerful, fast, and deadly. Each swing of his double-headed axe was precise, controlled, and brutal.

Flames licked the air as he sent a Pyre Burst crashing into MPyre, stunning it long enough to leap in with Bonebreaker Frame and cleave its molten core clean through.

Fire exploded in all directions, but Theo’s Energy Shield flared up, absorbing most of the blast as he turned toward MSentinel, who was already charging again.

Lexa stood slowly behind her cover, chest heaving, a torn gash bleeding at her side but her eyes never left him.

Theo’s entire form surged with kinetic force as he Flashstepped forward and drove his axe into MSentinel’s gut but it bounced.

The armor-like skin deflected the first blow. Theo didn’t flinch. He activated Spinal Volley, a burst of sharpened bone spikes fired from his back into MSentinel’s face. The Meteorborn staggered.

"Granite Skin," Theo muttered under his breath as he took the full brunt of the retaliatory punch then countered with a Seismic Counter, shaking the floor and sending MSentinel flying into the gym bleachers.

A few of Lexa’s squad flinched at the tremor that shook the entire gym, plaster and dust falling like rain from the ceiling.

"Is that really... Theodore Luther?" a younger recruit asked, barely able to keep his rifle steady.

Lexa exhaled sharply, her chest rising and falling. She didn’t answer. Not because she didn’t know the truth, she did. But because even she couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

Theo’s body shimmered with residual sparks, the faint blue glint of electricity coiling off his arms like snakes of lightning.

Theo turned his head slightly toward the remaining Meteorborns. MSentinel, still standing, stomped forward with deliberate force, its thick, stone-armored legs cracking the floor with every step.

A low growl rumbled from its chest. At its flank, MCrawler twitched violently, its limbs reknitting, bone fragments cracking back into place with unnatural speed.

"Regenerator," Theo muttered, his eyes narrowing. "Fine."

He crouched slightly, boots sliding against the debris-coated floor.

Lexa knew that stance.

He was about to end it.

"Cover him!" she barked at her team. "Suppressing fire on MCrawler! Force it to stay in one place!"

A hail of bullets erupted behind Theo. MCrawler shrieked, its twitching body forced to duck and shield itself. But MSentinel barreled forward.

Theo didn’t move.

Immovable Stance.

The moment MSentinel raised its club-like arm to slam down on him, Theo caught it mid-swing. Stone and flesh collided, and the ground cracked beneath his feet as he dug in, not budging an inch.

"He stopped it-!" one soldier gasped.

"Wait, is that Granite Skin?!"

"No... something’s stacked on it. Look at his legs!"

Theo’s boots were encased in thin frost. From Frost Mantle, giving him not just added protection but anchoring strength against overwhelming force. And laced over his shoulders, tiny currents of wind twirled, Wind Veil, masking heat, muffling sound.

But none of that mattered to MSentinel.

It roared again, lifting its other arm.

Theo let go and surged upward.

Predator Rush.

A burst of raw, brutal speed. He disappeared and slammed his shoulder directly into MSentinel’s chest, the force sending the brute staggering backward.

MCrawler darted out of the bullet storm, lunging sideways toward Lexa.

Theo saw it mid-charge.

"LEXA!"

She turned, eyes wide but it was too late.

Theo activated Flashstep, chaining it twice. With a crackling burst of lightning, he reappeared between Lexa and MCrawler just as it lunged with all six limbs.

Cryo Spike Field.

The ground beneath MCrawler exploded in jagged ice, impaling three of its legs mid-jump and twisting its body awkwardly.

Theo’s axe followed in a wide arc, frost and flame spiraling along the edge. Gale Fangs + Pyre Burst.

The slash cleaved across MCrawler’s throat. An eruption of fire followed, then slicing wind blades that danced like razors through its sinew.

MCrawler gurgled.

And dropped, twitching once, then still.

"MCrawler down!" one of Lexa’s squad shouted, voice half in awe.

MSentinel snarled and charged again.

Lexa snapped out of her shock, extending both hands. "I’ve got this one!"

Her telekinetic grip seized MSentinel’s arms, halting its attack but barely. "He’s heavy!" she grit out, sweat beading on her forehead.

Theo’s hands curled into fists, sparking with voltage. Chain Shock.

A bolt of lightning launched from his palm and jumped from Lexa’s field to MSentinel’s chest, dancing across its armor.

"NOW!" she yelled.

Theo dashed forward and jumped.

Spinal Volley.

Dozens of sharp bone spikes launched from his back and shoulders mid-air, raining down like a deadly storm into MSentinel’s exposed joints.

It roared.

Bonebreaker Frame + Blood Tempo

He slammed into it with full force, fists blazing with condensed fire and charged kinetic energy. Pyre Burst - Overload.

The resulting explosion sent debris flying, knocking back two soldiers from Lexa’s team.

When the smoke cleared...

MSentinel was on the ground, its armored chest shattered like brittle rock, steam and smoke curling from the crater where its heart had been.

Lexa slowly lowered her arms.

All around the gym, silence reigned.

"...Holy shit," someone whispered.

Lexa finally spoke, voice low. "That’s enough."

Theo stood still, chest heaving. His eyes scanned the gym, then landed briefly on her.

Their gazes met.

"Thanks for the support," he said flatly.

"You did most of the work," she admitted.

Theo turned without another word and started walking toward the gym’s exit, dragging his axe lazily behind him.

"He’s not Class 4, is he?" one recruit asked numbly.

"No way," another replied. "No Class 4 fights like that."

Behind them, a third soldier, Mira, one of Lexa’s closer teammates, whispered, "He’s unstoppable. I wonder why he’s in Class 4..."

Lexa didn’t answer. She honestly wondered too why Theo was in Class 4

Then Lexa’s earpiece suddenly crackled.

"Delta Commander, this is Bravo Team, requesting immediate backup! We’ve found survivors in Building F, east wing. But... something’s wrong. Requesting confirmation."
