CHAPTER 144: MEETING WITH CHARLES AGAIN

Dragon asked, "When do you want me to arrange this tournament, President?"

Ethan thought for a moment.

"Do it after the end of the inter-racial tournament."

Dragon nodded.

Then Ethan said again,

"I heard the final reward is an origin artifact. We could use that artifact to protect the entire solar system from anyone below Universe Realm."

Dragon’s eyes were wide opened.

Origin artifact? It was the first time he had heard this term, but he could guess how grand such origin artifacts might be.

Moreover, if it could block attacks from anyone under Universe Realm powerhouse level, that meant a Galactic Overlord wouldn’t be a problem for Earth anymore.

He suddenly felt very proud to be an Earthling and to have someone like Ethan as their president.

Ethan nodded and dismissed Dragon.

After Dragon was gone, Ethan started thinking again.

Po had a master. He was the one who sent Po to Earth. But Ethan had a hunch that the master was a very dangerous person. He couldn’t ask Po about this before, as Po didn’t have much idea about the origin of his master. Now Po was a 25th-generation AI. He should be able to answer something now.

So he summoned Po. A tiny Po appeared on Ethan’s table.

"Hi boss... Do you need me for something?"

Ethan asked, "Po, you had a master with a very fancy name. Remember?"

Po nodded. "Yes boss. His name is Sycarion Voss Ithrael."

Ethan said, "Yes, that’s the one. You see, I have a very bad hunch that your master is not a good man. Do you think you can find out his whereabouts and all his data now?"

Po thought for a moment. He could now control 1 billion galaxies at once. That meant he could search for anyone in these 1 billion galaxies if they were present here.

But that man lived in his own space. Po wasn’t sure if he could find him, as he actually didn’t know where that person lived.

"I think it would need some time to find him, boss. But why do you think he is not a good guy?"

"He was collecting the destined people all over the universe. I think he is doing something evil. Besides, he is a human, right? So why didn’t the Primordial Humans find him, since he is a Galactic Supreme?"

"Boss, you think he has a problem with his origin too? Now that I think of it, you are actually right."

Ethan smiled, "If my hunch is not wrong, that dude should be an outer-versal enemy our universe might face sooner or later. And he should be at least above Galactic Overlord."

When he first met that person, Ethan thought he was a bad person. But now that he was really concentrating on this matter, his Supreme Law of Fate and Karma was giving him hints. But he wasn’t sure though. He could be wrong, as those Supreme Laws were only at 7% now, and determining the fate of the universe was out of his reach for now.

But something was definitely wrong with that dude, that’s for sure.

Po heard Ethan’s words and also started thinking seriously.

Ethan said, "Go out with one of my clones and scan the whole universe.

Besides, I want you to keep an eye on strange spatial tears or black holes or any strange place you might find."

Po nodded, "Okay boss. Give this wristband to one of your clones and I’ll be able to travel with him and do the job even without leaving your side."

"You really have become very powerful, Po. I don’t think your further evolution is possible in this universe. We might have to leave the universe for that grand stage where Vayn came from someday. We will find the necessary things for your next upgrade there," Ethan said slowly.

"You are correct, boss. This universe is too low-tier for me to get the necessary things. I’ll keep an eye on those strange spaces you just mentioned." Po vanished after saying that.

Ethan again started thinking.

The Earth was also not normal. The talent some Earthlings awakened during the awakening process was not common in other human civilizations. So something was really different about Earth, which made them so special.

Too many mysteries were lurking around. He was going to have a headache.

He need to get some fresh air. Life should have time for entertainment too.

He might as well meet some old acquaintants of his.

Then he remembered Charles. He hadn’t been in touch with him for a long time. Each day was so busy for him that he couldn’t meet those people who were with him in his beginning journey. Charles was one of the main characters who had really helped him a lot.

He called him.

Soon Charles picked up the phone. He was very nervous; Ethan could tell by hearing his voice.

"President. Is that you?"

Ethan was speechless. Why was this old man suddenly acting so unfamiliar?

Then he recalled the feat he had achieved in this very short period of time. Of course, Charles would feel very nervous.

Ethan said, "Old man, let’s meet. Where are you now?"

On the other end of the phone, Charles almost tripped on his feet. The President was going to meet him?

He had helped Ethan a little in his beginning journey, but Ethan had achieved everything by himself. Though he was familiar with him, Ethan’s present status made them worlds apart.

He didn’t ever dare to use his previous connection with Ethan to do anything.

It would sully the president’s reputation, as he thought.

But Charles still gave his address to Ethan.

Charles had joined a university as a professor.

Soon Ethan teleported there.

It was a huge university that had established recently. Because more and more people were awakening these days, they needed more schools. Besides, the threat of monsters was also gone, and the Primordial Human bloodline had evolved the potential of every Earthling.

So more universities needed to be established. Leon was so busy that he couldn’t even take out time for his cultivation session.

But Ethan would compensate him later.

Ethan saw Charles was waiting for him in the training ground.

Ethan kept his presence hidden; only Charles could see him.

As soon as Charles saw him, he bowed.

Ethan said,"Old man,no need to be so formal. I was just bored so I wanted to catch up with you. How are your days going? Got yourself a woman?"

Charles felt very happy deep inside that Ethan was still so casual with him even after achieveing such status.

Charles smiled,"You are joking, who would want to be with an old man like me?"

Ethan was speecless again. The kings had a huge lifespan,so charles was still a young man. But the problem was earth didn’t have enough resources before, so mediocre people who became king, they had become after getting old.

So having longer lifespan didn’t remove that sign of oldness, but once they become a planetary realm,they would be able return to their youth full form and remain like that.

Ethan said,"Do you want to become young again?"
