CHAPTER 177: THE ADVENTURE BEGINS

Rose looked at Ethan with some confusion.

"Adventure? What kind of adventure?"

Ethan smiled. "Uh, you will see later."

Rose was eating, and a little food stuck at the corner of her face.

Ethan suddenly leaned closer to her and licked that food into his mouth.

Rose felt an electric shock run through her spine from her face.

Her hands started trembling, her face turned blood red. The scene from last night also came flooding back all at once.

Fumes seemed to rise from her head.

She looked at Ethan with pleading eyes and said in a low voice,

"This is not fair. Don’t attack me like this. My little heart can’t take so much at once."

This was the first time Rose spoke her mind so openly. Ethan was a little surprised.

Then he touched her cheek.

"Rose, let’s get married."

He almost forgot they were in class and other students were around.

Just as Rose was about to say something, loud applause broke out from nowhere.

Some girls and boys were even crying.

Seeing the romance of such a celestial couple was enough for their lifetime bragging rights and fulfillment of heart. They had no regrets anymore.

But Dave was not among those students who were happy. He clenched his fists tightly.

He had wanted to maintain his good mask for some time, but Rose’s beauty was like the temptation of a 10,000-year-old wine. He could not control himself anymore.

"Married? If you are still alive after today, maybe you can, but the girl will be someone else. Not that bitch. She is mine, she will serve me for eternity, hahahahaha!"

Dave’s twisted personality almost came out.

William also saw the whole scene. He could only shake his head in disappointment.

He had just warned Ethan, but that boy had to do this and made the situation even worse.

Rose looked at her surroundings and suddenly she felt she was not shy anymore. This damn bastard had taken too much fun of her. It was time to return it.

She suddenly moved her hand, placed it on the back of Ethan’s head, pulled him toward her, and kissed him on the lips.

"Sure, my love."

Ethan, a pure virgin through and through, had blood come out of his nose, even though he was thick-skinned like a rhino.

He looked at Rose with dull eyes.

"What just happened? How did my sweet and shy Rose become so bold all of a sudden?"

Then he remembered he had been attacking her like this very often. She never said anything, but today was probably the day her reservations went to buy oil and she snapped.

Rose felt lighter all of a sudden. She smiled at Ethan with confidence.

"Sigh! My sweet Rose has finally grown up. I am so happy."

This time he said it out loud instead of in his mind.

Rose heard this too. She became a little embarrassed again but laughed, and Ethan also laughed.

This time Ethan used a barrier, so no one saw the kissing scene or what followed. It would have been more embarrassing otherwise.

Lunch time was over.

Soon the teacher came and gave his lecture.

After two lectures, class time was also over.

It was time for them to go home. Ethan and Rose came out.

The girl Rose had spoken to earlier came to them and said,

"Miss Rose, I’ll give you a bag for free. That will be my wedding gift for you."

She smiled at them.

Ethan said, "Well, thanks, Miss... umm? Would you mind telling me your name?"

The girl said, "I am Fiona Shaw."

Ethan nodded. "Thanks, Ms. Fiona. Please be careful on the way."

Rose also thanked her.

Then they left the university campus. Ethan immediately felt twenty people were following them from different directions.

They were all ordinary people though.

Ethan said, "The little adventure has come."

Rose said, "Are they sent by that blonde rat?"

Ethan laughed loudly.

"You also noticed him?"

Rose just rolled her eyes. "I am not blind, huh."

"How about we play some game with them?" Ethan suggested, and Rose agreed.

Ethan and Rose started walking faster, with a little panic on their faces.

The leader of those men looked a little surprised.

"They noticed us? Probably."

He licked his lips. It would be fun to play the game of cat and mouse.

Soon both of them almost left the university area and entered an unpopulated place, like they were trying to hide.

Soon the alley was surrounded. Rose looked panicked. She tightly held Ethan’s clothes.

"Nothing will happen. I’ll protect you even if I have to die.",Ethan said.

This sentence was not a joke. Ethan would never hesitate to lay down his life for her if such a situation really came.

Rose just hugged him tightly.

Ethan said in a trembling voice,

"Who are you guys? Why are you following us? Please let us go."

The leader, who was wearing a black suit, laughed loudly.

"Let you go? Are you a dumbass or what? Even I can’t control myself after seeing that girl. No wonder young master went crazy over her."

"Young master? Who is he?" Ethan asked again.

The man in black said coldly,

"A dead man doesn’t need to know much. You can just die. Your woman will serve young master well."

Ethan’s eyes turned cold and he was about to wave his hand.

But before he could do it, he saw a man in a fox mask appear.

He punched the leader instantly without saying anything.

The leader flew away, then fell to the ground and vomited blood. All the other men turned alert.

"The Fox Man is here? What is he doing here?"

"You better stay out of Johnson family business or you won’t even know how you died," one of them threatened.

The masked man did not say anything and attacked them.

The leader stood up with difficulty and shouted,

"Take out your guns and shoot that motherfucker!"

Everyone took out their guns and aimed at the masked man, but he was too fast and they could not pinpoint his location.

Ethan was watching the battle with some interest. William had come to help them. He would repay the boy later. He had earned his respect.

He looked at Rose. She was still hugging him.

He could not tell if she was still acting or genuinely enjoying the hug. But who cares. A win-win for him.
