CHAPTER 184: KILLING THE BOAR

When Relf went closer to the monster, he saw the hindlimb of that beast was bleeding.

He was surprised who might have just attacked it. He also saw that beam of light just now but did not see the source. So someone was present here who could injure that beast.

He did not know if that person was a foe or a friend.

But he did not have time for that now. He needed to kill that monster. Otherwise, no one from his team would be able to do that.

Ethan was watching this battle. He wanted to attack right now but he also wanted to see the commander in battle.

Soon Relf and that boar monster clashed. Relf swung his sword but the boar evaded it narrowly and hit him with its head. But Relf was not a normal knight either.

He jumped over the head of the boar and thrashed his sword into the head of the boar, but this time it used a wind slash directly toward him.

And Relf could not dodge the attack midair. It hit him and blood gushed out from his chest.

Relf flew away and hit the ground. Ethan did not think the boar would be so strong and have such keen battle sense.

Relf was from the royal army but still could not handle the boar.

The boar looked at Relf who was lying at a distance and instantly started running toward him.

Ethan did not think much, and this time a portal appeared directly in front of the head of the monster and he shot.

Instantly that plasma beam penetrated through its head like butter and came out from its anus.

The boar died instantly and stopped just a little bit away because of its inertia.

Everyone was standing there dumbfounded. What happened?

This attack again?

Who was using it? They became nervous instead of happy.

If such a person attacked them, they would not even know who attacked and would die for sure.

Ethan saw their nervous looks and understood what was going on.

He could trust the vice commander and commander as they were selected by his father, and he also knew the ancestor was watching over him.

So he decided to tell them.

"Vice commander Julious, look at me."

Suddenly everyone heard Ethan’s voice and looked at him.

Ethan pointed his finger toward the sky and fired a plasma beam.

Instantly it shot to the sky and penetrated a cloud above.

Ethan then stepped into the carriage. They heard his words,

"Treat commander Relf as soon as possible and barbecue that boar."

He was disappointed. That monster died too easily. But he did not have any other choices at that moment. It was too strong for Relf and too weak for him.

Anyways, today he learned the attack pattern of the wind slash. Though he could not use wind, he could use mana slash, or what if he could use slash with time?

Damn! The moment it hit him, he instantly took out a paper and pen and started doing his research.

The guards were still standing outside like fools.

"Did the fifth prince just kill a grand tier monster? All by himself?"

Suddenly they heard a roar,

"Didn’t you hear what His Highness just ordered? Why are you still standing there like fools? Go and prepare that boar first."

When they heard Julious’s voice, they came to their senses and started doing their job.

Some light elemental magus were using healing skills on Relf. His injuries were not that severe. They would be able to heal him in an hour.

Edian inside the space was also surprised.

"This boy is something else. I am really looking forward to his future, and maybe he should be able to enter that relic in the Origin World."

Soon 2 hours passed.

Ethan was deep in his research.

He heard a knock from the outside,

"Your Highness, the food is ready."

Ethan then came out of his zone and felt that he really was hungry.

So he opened the door and came out.

Everyone bowed as soon as he came out.

This time they were showing genuine respect to him, not for his status.

"How is commander Relf doing?" Ethan asked.

"I am doing fine, Your Highness. Thanks for asking," Relf replied. He was almost healed, only a little weak.

"I am glad to hear that," Ethan smiled.

"Okay, let’s eat all together."

Soon they all enjoyed a hearty meal together. This was the time that made soldiers become life-and-death brothers.

Battle together, then enjoy the victory together, or share the defeat together.

And these 100 were a special team made by the emperor himself after much consideration when he saw his fifth son awakened a space element. He wanted to gift him these 100 guards.

After the meal, Ethan stepped into the carriage again.

He was surprised that the 1st prince still had not made his move yet. He was waiting for him.

Did he know that the ancestor was looking out for him?

He again entered his zone and started his research on the time slash spell.

The next morning he opened his eyes.

He was progressing much faster in the time spell now that he had a direction and he had comprehended a space spell.

Space and time were probably closely related.

Today they would enter the mountain range. It was still dangerous, even in the day. Bandits, monsters, and even unknown events.

The mountain ranges were always a place of dread.

Relf was already fully healed after a full night of rest.

They entered the mountain range and slowly progressed.

The road was up and down and very tough for carriages to run faster.

At noon, they entered the deep mountain area. This was the most dangerous place. Every guard was on high alert. Even Ethan stopped his research and was concentrating on his search spell.

He could sense many powerful auras surrounding them, though they were not approaching them as the mages used spells to conceal their aura.

But then,

Boom!

A fire spell shot toward them.

Julious was on high alert and instantly used barrier magic.

But Ethan saw 28 super powerful auras in front of them.

They were not there before, probably concealing their presence.
