CHAPTER 209: RETURNING TO LEKEDONIA EMPIRE

15 days were over. It was time for them to leave the origin world.

They got a tremendous amount of valuable resources thanks to Ethan.

They all appeared in front of the gate. There were some accidents too, some died because they faced some truly powerful beasts in this world.

So the number of people who entered the origin world was lessened now.

Ethan was looking at the door intently. This was the last chance for him to learn that diagram, because this gate only opened twice every thousand years.

Soon the door creaked open again and Ethan instantly concentrated on the pattern of the diagram. Last time he was not prepared, but this would not happen this time. Besides, the basic structure of the diagram was already formed. Now he only needed details.

The gate opened fully and the blinding light swallowed all the people present there. This time Ethan did not close his eyes, he was wearing a sunglass now, it was a magic gadget he acquired from Kate just for this purpose.

They entered inside the door and Ethan could now see that white light which was more intense than the outside.

But this also helped him gather the details of the diagram more quickly.

After some time Ethan’s diagram was completed and they also got out of the gate.

Ethan was extremely excited to check what that diagram was about.

This spell was a dimensional gate spell, but Ethan did not know what a dimension was. So he kept it for now as he would have to go back to talk to his parents about the Atlanta civilization.

Ethan looked at Martha and asked, "Senior, I would like to go back to my family to talk to my parents about something urgent."

Martha was surprised that Ethan wanted to go back now as the class of the new semester would start soon.

So she asked, "Why do you want to go back?"

Ethan started hesitating a bit, should he tell her or not?

But then he thought, if he was going to the origin world, he would not be able to study in the supreme magus academy, so he would have to tell them.

He asked Kate before leaving if he could tell them about this deal.

Kate agreed instantly, they were a super tier civilization, it was not that they were afraid of being exposed, it was just they did not like to associate with the people of other worlds.

So Ethan said, "Let’s go back to the Empire first. I have something very important to tell."

Seeing Ethan’s suddenly serious mode, they did not probe any further and they all got inside the flying vessel Martha brought.

Inside the flying vessel, Sunny came to Ethan and said, "Bro, I also want to go with you to your empire."

Martha heard this and she was surprised that Sunny really wanted to leave the empire for Ethan’s sake. She was happy because Sunny never left the capital and sad that her grandson prioritised Ethan more than her, as once she asked Sunny if he wanted to go out with her, though it was when Sunny was only 3 years old.

But jealousy was still jealousy.

Ethan asked, "Are you sure? The class will start in 2 days, I do not think we will be able to come back in time."

Edian then came to him and asked, "Boy, what is it so urgent that you would rather miss your first day at the academy?"

Ethan thought for a moment and decided to tell them here as there was no one else other than Ethan, Edian, Sunny, Martha, Delilah and her aunt Jessica.

He could trust them.

Ethan said, "When I told you my story about what I did in those 2 days, I left a crucial part.

It is about one of the civilizations of the origin world."

Instantly Martha, Edian and Jessica’s facial expressions turned pale.

The civilization was the ultimate taboo in this world, which was ordered by Victor Frankenstein himself.

Edian came close to Ethan and put his hand on Ethan’s mouth.

"Boy, do not talk about this matter. It is taboo here."

Ethan was surprised by the sudden interference of his ancestor.

But then he understood why he did that. It was indeed a taboo, but not for Ethan though, because he had permission from Madam Kate.

So he gently put Edian’s hand away from his mouth and smiled, "Do not worry. I know what I am doing."

Then he started talking again, "After leaving that place with Wu Kong, I did not directly come back here, I went to another place, there with a chance of fate, I was accepted inside a civilization."

When he said this much, those elders felt their throats drying.

They were now listening to something they should not have.

Ethan said again, "Inside there, they offered me to train and they would allow me to leave once every year. So I took their offer."

He stopped saying this much. He could not say anything more. But it was enough to put tremors into the hearts of everyone present.

Edian fell on his knees in front of Ethan and grabbed his shoulder, his voice was shaking,

"Boy, are you sure, you did not mistake this for something else?"

Ethan could understand their feelings, he was not a young boy anymore.

Ethan said, "I am sure ancestor, after talking to my parents, I will leave for the origin world again."

Then the flying vessel changed its direction and started going toward the Lukedonia Empire.

But what Ethan did not know, this time the Lukedonia Empire was facing its existential threat.

Somehow the news of Edian leaving the Empire was leaked or known somehow, and that was what caused them their mortal danger.
