CHAPTER 283: A TERRIFYING CRIMINAL

Ethan was afraid that this clone couldn’t handle such a huge power.

So it wanted to contact the main body as it was instructed to do so before his main body left the universe, that if any power beyond his abilities arrive here, he should infrom the main body instantly.

But before he could do this, a tremendous pressure wrapped him instantly.

"Oh? A little bug is trying to spy on me? How amusing."

He heard a chuckle in his head.

Ethan’s eyes were wide open. What kind of power was this? It felt as strong as the man whose inheritance he had received, a Tier 25 existence.

"What is a Tier 25 doing here? This Chaos Verse is just an abandoned one. So what is going on?" Ethan could only think as his entire body was frozen in place.

"Oh? You are just a clone? Let me see where your main body is," he again heard that voice in his mind.

But even after some time, Ethan didn’t hear anything from that entity.

"Huh, interesting. I can’t find your line of karma. Can it be that your main body has died? No, that is not right. You were created by the energy of the main body, not from other materials.

So if the main body was dead, you would have died too. But you are here, that means your main body is also alive. I am getting excited. Let’s search your Chaos Verse. Where do you belong from?"

But Ethan didn’t say anything. He was trying every method he had to contact the main body.

But for some reason, his message was not reaching there.

"You are trying to send a message to someone. Is that your main body?" the entity asked again.

"Go fuck yourself, stupid son of a bitch," Ethan cursed in his mind and tried to send this message to his other clone to see if the entity could read his messages or was just guessing that he was trying to send one.

Then he heard a roar. "What did you say?"

The pressure on him increased tenfold at once.

Ethan felt he was going to become meat paste, but for some reason, the pressure didn’t increase anymore.

Inside the spaceship,

"Master, what’s wrong?"

The young man asked in a concerned voice. The Tier 25 entity was his master, or rather a soul fragment. He was just a waste and couldn’t cultivate.

One day he found a small knife in an abandoned place, and inside the knife was his master’s soul.

He was just a mere mortal back then. It was his master who taught him unconventional ways to become powerful, like absorbing the life force of others.

Once he became a little powerful, he started devouring newly awakened cultivators. Slowly he rose to power, and once he became famous in his world, he learned that he was a prince. It was his family who had abandoned him in childhood because he didn’t have any talent for cultivation.

They came to him and begged him to return to the family.

But he had already become a monster at that point. He returned to the family, then asked them to make him the crown prince.

After they did, he killed his entire family except for the king, whom he made a puppet king, and took over all the power.

This all happened millions of years ago. He killed and absorbed people like vegetables.

After a certain period of time, he started absorbing planets, stars, galaxies, and universes.

And today he was a powerhouse at the level of a Tier 17.

Though it was not actual cultivation, the strength was real.

He and his master planned before every attack. They would choose weak worlds to attack, ones that didn’t have any powerful protectors.

They found this Chaos Verse because of a stroke of luck.

This Chaos Verse had a tremendous amount of dormant origin energy, and there were no powerful beings here.

But his master was an old fox. He asked him to launch an all-out war against them and find out if they had any hidden weapons or not.

Because the dormant energy was comparable to hundreds of Chaos Verses.

So it must have a secret or something.

Today his master suddenly became angry all of a sudden, which had never happened before.

The entire spaceship was shaking with fear. They feared the prince, but they feared his master even more.

"Nothing. A little bug has come to spy on us, and I am just having some fun with it. You don’t have to worry. Continue the war."

A cold voice echoed from every direction of the spaceship.

"Alright, master," the prince replied with a bow.

"Now then, it has been eons since I felt a challenge, and I didn’t think that challenge would come from a pesky Chaos Verse.

Though I am not in my prime and my inner reality is dormant because I lost my physical body, I can still suppress a Tier 23 like an adult teaching a child. I will find out your whereabouts and your background."

The entity thought in his mind.

"Eyam, enter the Chaos Verse. I want to visit every place where a living organism is residing."

The prince heard his master’s order and immediately vanished from the spaceship without telling anyone.

The entity felt challenged, and he wanted to find out the whereabouts of the main body of this clone.

If that man had any family, he would play with his family to death.

He was once known as the Demon of the Light Dimension.

He committed countless crimes. Even after becoming a Tier 25, he would go and rape the family members of ruler-class people. But no one could catch him.

And the Tier 26 and above never interfered in mundane matters, so Tier 25 was the highest peak in any reality.

He got fun and thrill by doing this. One day he raped the wife of a mad swordsman. That man loved his wife dearly.

The woman was also a Tier 13 existence. He tricked the swordsman into leaving his wife alone for a little time, and he did this during that time.

That was the moment that cost him his life. He lost his physical body because of the tremendous revenge of the swordsman.

He fled from there by using a secret art with the help of his soul artifact, which was the knife that the prince found.

After eons, he had almost forgotten how it felt to violate the loved ones of powerful enemies.

He couldn’t find the karma of the main body, so he thought the main body must be powerful.

And with that, his dormant desire was born again.

The prince entered the Chaos Verse in disguise and started visiting all the cities and universes of the Chaos.

He would go there and capture their ruler to read his memory and see if he had ever seen Ethan before or not.

Ethan was becoming more worried every second. He couldn’t contact his main body or other clones, nor any friends or family.

He had never faced this kind of situation before.

This whole process of searching took five days.

After five days of continuous searching, he finally entered the universe where Ethan’s family lived.

After entering, as usual, he caught the ruler, who was actually the progenitor of the Celestial Race.
