CHAPTER 294: REY STARTED HIS SWORD PRACTICE

Ethan was walking while humming. That boy probably thought it was just a fake piece of paper, nothing more than that. Otherwise, Ethan was sure he would have already attacked him.

But he could hear the boy cursing him. Ethan only cleared his ear with his little finger as if he didn’t hear it.

Soon, he arrived at Sabro’s house. The moment he arrived, he went to check on Rey.

The door was open. Rey was not in the room.

Ethan went to the front yard to find him. Rey was watering some plants. When he heard a sound behind him, Rey turned and looked at Ethan.

"Hey, Ethan. Where did you go?"

Ethan put the bag on the ground.

"I went to do something important. Have you memorized the technique?"

Rey nodded.

"Yes, I have. But I can’t practice it yet. Do you have any idea what is going on?"

Ethan took out the herbs.

"Read this booklet. Meanwhile, I will make a medicinal bath for you. Come here in an hour."

Ethan went to prepare the materials for the medicinal bath, and Rey went inside the room to read the book.

Ethan then went to find Sabro and asked him to make the medicinal bath for Rey,as an alchemist, he would be more suitable for the task.

Sabro was surprised.

"Have you bought the herbs already? Where did you get the money?"

Ethan told him that he had caught two Blue Fin Koi fish from the lake.

Sabro’s eyes widened. Those fish lived very deep inside the lake. He sometimes went there himself to find materials, but how did this little boy find something so rare?

"Is it luck or something else? This boy is full of surprises. The other one is also not bad. Already memorized the content in less than a day."

Ethan shook his head.

Sabro just waved his hand with a smile and went to prepare two medicinal baths.

Ethan came out of his room. Rey also came out.

"Have you finished reading the book?" Ethan asked.

"Yes," Rey nodded.

Ethan then sat beside him and told him his plan about sending him to a sect two or three months later.

"But Ethan, we should both try to enter. What would I do alone there?"

Ethan looked at him with disdain.

"What are you? A little girl?"

Rey turned red with embarrassment.

"Kids, your baths are ready. Come here."

Both Ethan and Rey went inside Sabro’s room. There were two huge pots filled with water that emitted a strong herbal fragrance.

"Are the herbs this strong, or did Sabro add something else?" Ethan had his doubts but didn’t ask.

Both of them entered the hot water, completely naked.

Sabro started guiding them.

"Now run your technique."

Ethan ran the Divine Might technique like Rey, not his own.

But his absorption rate was far superior to Rey’s since he had already entered the realm of cultivation.

While Rey had only finished one-tenth of the total medicine, Ethan had already absorbed all of his.

Sabro was observing everything.

An hour later, Rey also finished his pot of medicine.

After that, they thanked Sabro and went back to their room.

Inside the room, Ethan took out the sword and the sword technique.

"Rey, look what I bought for you. You should cultivate in the medicinal bath in the evening and practice this sword technique in the morning.

Ethan came out of the room. Now it was time for him to practice his own technique.

After 100 cycles, he stopped. His body now possessed the strength of 30 mammoths.

"It’s time to find out the effect of my healing talent and how much energy it requires."

He went to a corner. There was a small plant that had lost its luster and was on the verge of dying.

Ethan had seen it earlier but didn’t have time to check on it.

"Let me treat you, little guy."

He touched one of its small branches and activated his talent.

Soon, a soft energy gushed out from his body and entered the little plant.

Miraculously, the plant instantly came back to life, full of luster as if nothing had happened.

"Whoa, it barely consumed any energy from me. I should try it on an animal tomorrow."

Ethan then went inside the room and fell asleep instantly.

The next morning, Ethan slowly opened his eyes. Rey wasn’t in the room.

He could hear sounds outside. He went out and saw Rey practicing with his sword.

"It almost feels like he’s dancing with the sword. Worthy of the Sword Saint talent," Ethan muttered. Then he went to freshen up and came out of the house. He didn’t disturb Rey.

But just as he came out, he saw Garold walking toward him.

"Ethan, I came to find you. It’s good that you’re here. The team is going to the town today. We have an urgent meeting there. Would you like to go with us?"
