CHAPTER 54: CHAPTER 52: WAR

Abyss World.

At the dawn of the world, everything originated from primordial chaos. In the endless darkness of the dozens of meters deep sea, faint light trickled down on a black skeletal humanoid, a milky white Slime, and a long Giant Dragon seated on a makeshift throne.

Below, a humanoid flagellate single-cell organism reported:

"Your Majesties, even though we were prepared, disseminating knowledge, most of the twenty trillion or so citizens died. Now, only a little over two million remain!"

This was a tragic outcome.

The developments on this day of strategic planning had already seen the three Abyss Dominators make their best efforts to prepare.

Gathering all the citizens, the three of them tirelessly advocated, explaining the basic principles of gene evolution, yet they were still caught off guard.

Herodotus launched a toxic attack straight away, releasing several poisons at once, equivalent to successive mass extinctions, wiping out all but one in ten million, leaving just 0.00001% alive.

Populations several thousand times that of Earth’s eight billion instantly reduced to two million, like Li Qing’s cruelty but multiplied many times over.

If not for the ample water diluting the poison, offering a breather, there might not be a single living being left.

The three Abyss Dominators sat atop their high thrones.

"Your Majesty, although our losses are large, they are necessary sacrifices." Before them was a single-cell organism named Talus, a self-recommended life offering strategic advice to the three Dominators.

After all, the three Abyss Dominators possessed a part of the Gods’ memory inheritance and had briefly educated these single-cell organisms on the structure of the Abyss World as well as their origin.

The Abyss World consisted of remnants of the consciousness of the fallen Great Demon Monarchs.

They were single cells of the remnants, the three themselves were multi-cellular remnants, waking several days before them and possessing inherited memory.

At this moment.

The three Abyss Dominators were observing the structure of an Elf from ten meters under the sea: "Talus, per your suggestion, we’ve ambushed and acquired a corpse."

Talus replied: "Your Majesties, the structure of the other side has been locked down, we should be able to break it open, but it won’t be quick."

"However, we don’t need to see their structure; we’ve already gleaned general information."

As a once-in-a-trillion genius among a twenty trillion population, Talus possessed innate terrifying wisdom, continually analyzing:

"First, the Elf World, with Creation Level beings emitting the same aura as us, doesn’t number many."

"Most of the life forms follow two other races in the back, likely created by them."

"These created life forms don’t possess our micro Consciousness Waves or Telekinesis; they are large and almost impossible to deconstruct on a micro-level."

"We still have two million citizens, each with Creation abilities, far more than they have."

"Next, speed, their reaction speed is ten times faster than ours."

"Should we develop in that direction?" the Slime Lord asked.

"Yes, it seems biological reaction speed is a necessity. We also have fast-reacting life forms here," Talus said.

Indeed, amidst the chaos, there were flies and a variety of corpses.

The Colorful Demon Dragon Lord sat high above, very pleased with this advisor, "Not bad, very good, speeding up together is our primary task."

To perfect one’s work, one must first sharpen one’s tools.

Once the speed increases, everything becomes faster.

The initial confrontation has both civilizations studying each other.

"Your Majesty, I have a nearly foolproof suggestion," Talus said.

"Let’s hear it," the Skeleton Lord said.

"The other civilization is far ahead of us."

Talus continued:

"Evolving from scratch ourselves would take too long... Since you three Lords are inherently powerful beings, we can turn all single cells into copies of you three, a two million strong army directly crossing over, they will be unstoppable."

The plan was straightforward.

First, don’t waste effort elsewhere, focus on researching reaction speed.

Second, as for biological structures? Turn directly into the forms of the three Dominators, go on the offensive, and overwhelm the opposing side.

After all.

Mantis Shrimp, Iron Beetle, Turbellaria, the foundations are there, just optimize the structure a bit and they’ll be formidable.

"I see."

The three Dominators found this strategy quite clever.

No need for technical underpinnings, clone themselves, and start the war.

Just a dozen or so hours later.

The neighboring Elf World couldn’t find a more devastating method of apocalypse.

Meanwhile, in the seawater, small, simple-structured black skeletons, Slimes, and Colorful Demon Dragons began to appear.

A terrifying scene unfolded.

Like demons slowly emerging from an ancient deep sea’s Demon Realm, carrying grotesque and sinister structures akin to both gods and demons, the Abyssal Army commenced its assault.

Whoosh.

Slimes stuck together like glue, forming a staircase.

The Slime staircase reached the not-so-high World Passage above sea level, allowing soldiers to enter through and cross the passage.

"Attack!"

They shouted.

Bam!

One black skeleton after another crossed through the passage first.

"Monsters!"

"The monsters are coming!"

Archers above drew their bows and fired, yet couldn’t penetrate the skeletons’ exteriors, only managing to push them back continuously.

"Knights of the Human Race, commence attack!"

The Ten Kings quickly discovered their adversary’s weakness, "Strong defense, but these creatures are skeletal with little muscle, embedded in their bones, moving slowly."

Knight after knight charged forth, pinning these skeletal warriors to the ground; their hard shells made them pure meat shields, with no strength to resist.

Soon, however, they encountered new life forms.

Slimes and the terrifyingly powerful Abyssal Demon Insects.

"Defend quickly, defend quickly!"

...

Their battle was fiercely intense.

High above, a camera slowly rotated, focusing on a corner of the room.

"Corner myth war..." Li Qing watched these little creatures, shaking his head slightly, "It’s begun, fighting fiercely right away."

These two rooms, battling at the corners, somehow felt like the fights in Toy Story or Barbie-like wars.

Of course, on a smaller scale.

Li Qing watched with interest at this war, "Those three Abyss Dominators are of ordinary intelligence, yet out of the enormous population of twenty trillion, another super monster has emerged."

Talus?

If it weren’t for this guy secretly advising, it wouldn’t have escalated this dramatically. He had meticulously gathered observational information.

"However, he seems to be a restless little fellow, possibly with some defiant aspirations."

Li Qing pondered.

Boom!

The three Abyss Dominators burst through the World Passage, leading the charge onto the battlefield.

Li Qing felt speechless; Talus is aggressive, commanding you to go, and you just go? You three leaders aren’t afraid of being killed? Look at the Gods, observing the battle from afar atop the World Tree.

But the three Abyss Dominators seemed to follow someone’s plan, shouting:

"Trinity, resurrect the Great Demon Monarch!"

They clumsily stacked together, creating an odd, mixed figure.

The Skeleton Monarch stood in the center, while a Mantis Shrimp perched on top and a Slime clung to the bones as flesh, funny to behold.

"Ooh! Trinity, ancient entity, resurrect!"

They shouted in unison.

After all, Talus’ suggestion was appealing to them! That dared to defy the Chaos Ancient Gods outside the world, such an awe-inspiring existence probably approaching that level. If resurrected, they would surely win; even if not, it was worth a try.

"....."

Li Qing watched from afar, feeling a sudden toothache.

With you looking like that, how could I even consider descending?
