Chapter 86 Undead XII
Leon continued his relentless assault, unleashing strike after strike with his trident. Every movement was deliberate, aimed at building his stats to the critical 10% mark before releasing one of the two devastating skills available under the Tandava ability.
His eyes remained locked on the steadily rising stat bar, ignoring the pain in his body and the Abomination King''s desperate attacks.
10%
A grin spread across Leon''s face as he felt the power surge through him. "Now," he whispered, spinning his trident with incredible speed. "Celestial Wrath Strike."
Celestial Wrath Strike
Effect: A devastating finishing move where the user channels all accumulated power into a single trident thrust. This attack pierces through enemies, leaving a path of destruction.
Damage: Deals 4000% of the user''s base attack in a straight line over 30 meters.
Additional Effects: Leaves a burning trail that deals 10% of the user''s base attack as DoT(Damage over Time) for 5 seconds to all enemies within the line of attack.
Mana Cost: 50% of total mana.
Cooldown: 45 seconds.
As Leon activated the skill, his trident suddenly glowed, its tip encased in a swirling black light. He twirled the weapon in a circular motion before thrusting it straight at the Abomination King with all his might.
The point of impact was catastrophic. The Abomination King was obliterated in a single strike, its grotesque form disintegrating into ash. The trident''s energy continued forward in a straight line, carving through the cave and leaving behind a burning trail of destruction before finally dissipating.

"That is a really powerful skill," Roselia said, clearly impressed.
Leon nodded but glanced at his mana bar, now reduced to just 30%. He sighed. "But it''s way too mana-consuming."
Roselia chuckled. "True, but it''s still a great skill. Since it consumes mana as a percentage, it will remain useful no matter your Tier. It scales with your strength."
Leon nodded in agreement as he examined the loot. "It seems the Abomination King is a famous quest target," he sighed, picking up the core of the defeated monster.
"Well, it can only be used as a material to craft a weapon," he added.
Roselia took the core from him, inspecting it carefully. "Or a potion," she suggested, her eyes gleaming with interest.
Leon nodded, handing it to her. "You can have it."
The two returned to a nearby town, heading straight to an inn renowned for its hearty meals. They wasted no time ordering and were soon digging into a feast fit for champions.
"Ahh~~" Leon sighed in satisfaction, leaning back in his chair after finishing his third plate of grilled fish in a row. "This fish is amazing! So tender and flavorful," he said, picking up another forkful from a fresh plate.
Roselia chuckled, watching him devour the food with unrelenting enthusiasm. "You act like you haven''t eaten in days," she teased, though she was steadily working through her own plate.
"Well, after fighting that ugly excuse for a king, I feel like I deserve this," Leon said, grinning as he reached for a glass of juice.
Roselia shook her head but couldn''t hide the amusement in her eyes. "Just don''t eat the whole inn dry. We still have a Death Puppet King to deal with."
"Don''t worry," Leon said, waving her off with a laugh. "This is just fueling up for the next fight."
She smirked. "Good, because that one''s going to be even tougher."
Leon shrugged though this time he made sure to learn about this Death puppet king properly before rushing in blindly lest he gets smacked like last time.
After finishing their meal, Leon stretched with a satisfied groan. "Alright, that hit the spot. Ready to head out?" he asked, as he pays the bill.
Roselia wiped her lips with a napkin and stood, her twin blades sheathed neatly at her sides. "Let''s go. The Death Puppet King won''t defeat itself."
The two made their way out of the inn and into the bustling town square. Villagers greeted them with nods of respect, word of their victory over the Abomination King having already spread.
As they approached the town''s outskirts, Roselia glanced at Leon. "The Death Puppet King... have you heard much about it?"
Leon frowned slightly, recalling what he had read. "It''s said to control an army of puppets—mindless warriors made from the corpses of its victims. The more puppets it has, the stronger it becomes. And it has a nasty habit of using strings infused with dark mana to control its enemies mid-fight."
Roselia''s expression turned serious. "So we''ll need to watch each other''s backs. If one of us gets caught in those strings—"
"We cut them free immediately," Leon finished, nodding. "I''ve already thought of that. My trident''s reach and your agility should give us an edge. But we''ll need to be quick—this isn''t going to be an easy fight."
"No to mention this guy is opposite of Abomination king , only Magic works on him" he said and then added with a Grin " And I happen to test my new Destruction class magic spells"
As they reached the edge of the forest, the path leading to the Death Puppet King''s lair loomed ahead, dark and foreboding. The air grew colder, and a sense of unease settled over the area.
"Looks like we''re close," Roselia said, unsheathing her blades and inspecting them.
Leon twirled his trident, a confident grin on his face despite the tension in the air. "Let''s see if this king is as terrifying as they say—or if it''s just another pile of bones waiting to be broken."
With that, they stepped into the forest, the shadows swallowing them whole as they moved closer to their next challenge.
