Just then, Niall seemed to recall something and mentioned, "Isn't Valerie Corporation hiring right now? Marco's company should have a suitable position for her. I'll give Marco a call later to inquire."

Cullen's lips curved into a smile. "That would be perfect."

Vivian was familiar with Marco's name. She'd heard that he and Cullen had grown up together, and that he also held Niall in high regard. In the past, whenever Niall needed assistance, Marco would immediately offer his full support without hesitation.

Upon hearing this suggestion, Vivian wanted to interject that she didn't want to depend on anyone's connections, but before she could articulate her thoughts, Huxley swiftly replied, "Thank you, Niall. We're truly grateful for your help with this matter."

Niall responded graciously, "It's nothing, really. Just a small favor."

Following that exchange, Cullen and Niall shifted their conversation away from Vivian. They sat intimately close, speaking in hushed tones about matters Vivian couldn't quite catch. Their conversation flowed naturally, seemingly endless, with an easy rapport between them that was undeniable.

Observing their affectionate interaction, Vivian's thoughts drifted to Veronica, who had gone shopping by herself today. She leaned closer to Bonnie and quietly asked, "When exactly are they finalizing the divorce?"

Bonnie took a moment to register that Vivian was referring to Cullen and Veronica. With a slight curl of her lip, she replied, "Cullen says it'll be soon. There's just some complication with dividing the assets. He doesn't want Veronica using it as an excuse to create problems for him and Niall later, so he's determined to settle all financial matters before making the divorce official."

Learning that Veronica would receive a portion of Cullen's assets brought Vivian a sense of relief. She had previously heard rumors that Cullen harbored intense dislike for Veronica and feared he might leave her with nothing after their separation.

The mere mention of asset division visibly agitated Bonnie. Without waiting for Vivian to speak again, she snorted derisively, "If Cullen wasn't concerned about that woman running to Mrs. Dennis Senior with tears, potentially blocking the divorce out of spite, he wouldn't be giving her a single penny."

Vivian responded with a soft, "I see." After a brief pause, she probed further, "So, is she getting just a small fraction of his wealth?"

"It's not insignificant, but not substantial either. Hmph. Still too generous for someone like her. Everything Cullen's allocating to her was discussed with Niall first. It's merely to maintain appearances, nothing more."

Vivian understood the subtext. Given Cullen's immense wealth, if Bonnie was this disgruntled about it, Veronica must be receiving a considerable sum. This realization provided Vivian with some comfort.

The situation made sense to her. In Bonnie's perspective, what Veronica was getting might represent only a minuscule portion of Cullen's fortune, but it likely amounted to roughly what Cullen had spent on Niall throughout their relationship. To Bonnie and her family, that was a significant amount. Money that should have been theirs was going to Veronica instead—naturally, that would leave Bonnie feeling bitter.

Suddenly, Bonnie seemed to remember Niall's suggestion about Vivian working at Marco's company. She gave Vivian a pointed look and said, "Once you're positioned there, keep a watchful eye on Marco for me. Don't allow other women to get too close to him, understood?"

Vivian had heard from Huxley that Bonnie had developed feelings for Cullen's friend, who was also part of Porter's elite circles and possessed impressive credentials. However, it appeared the sentiment wasn't reciprocated.

Caught off guard by Bonnie's directive, Vivian hesitated, then responded, "Well—it's not even confirmed yet. I might not secure a position at Valerie Corporation."

Bonnie curled her lip dismissively. "You don't know Marco. If Niall makes the request, he'll definitely agree without question."

Vivian could only murmur, "I see..."

Cullen had business matters to attend to and was preparing to depart. Both the Crystal and Mack families held him in high esteem, so everyone emerged to bid him farewell.

Huxley was eager for Vivian to establish herself in Porter promptly. After Cullen's departure, she broached the earlier request with Niall once more.

Seeing that there was now time available, Niall retrieved her phone and proceeded to call Marco. However, the call rang persistently without being answered.
