CHAPTER 49: THE MAIN TREASURE OF BAI ZHEN CAVE MINE

Li Shen and Li Xun arrived at a large, dimly lit cave with almost no light. Li Shen stretched out two fingers and released a speck of spiritual energy to explore the cave’s hallway.

Li Shen’s eyes widened. He turned to the side and asked Li Xun to leave. Li Xun was naturally curious about their destination. Li Shen explained that they were going to the mysterious room inside the cave passage.

He asked Li Xun to fly after him. Li Xun nodded in agreement. The two flew past several intersections while avoiding danger.

What they saw along the way were human bones, some lying on the ground, some with only their skulls remaining, and some even meditating to death.

"What happened to them?" asked Li Xun.

"I don’t know. But from what I can see, they are injured and unable to escape. In the end, they are trapped here for life," replied Li Shen, shocking Li Xun.

They continued flying nonstop until they arrived in front of a stone door. The door was heavily guarded by two stone soldiers, who were huge and wielded large swords. They would not let anyone steal the treasures inside the room.

The eyes of the stone warriors glowed bright red, startling Li Xun. They broke free from the stone pedestal and stepped forward, approaching Li Xun and Li Shen.

"Be careful, Xun’er. They are equal to Peak Nascent Soul," explained Li Shen.

The stone warrior statue swung its arms, intending to strike Li Shen and Li Xun. However, thanks to Li Shen’s skill, he managed to defeat the stone warrior statue with ease.

The stone statue shattered into small pieces that fell to the ground. Li Shen smiled, finding it easy to defeat the warrior statue.

"Nature Baby Fruit?" asked Li Shen.

"Did you find it, Father?" asked Li Xun. Li Shen cleared his throat in affirmation.

"Then let’s go," said Li Xun.

Li Shen nodded, and the two flew back through the cave corridor with great enthusiasm. They had hope for Ruo Fei’s recovery. However, obtaining that item would not be easy.-
