“Master, the altercation has begun. You should probably come.” Carmine’s voice came through my Slave Communication.

It looked like the plan I had set forward earlier that day was finally in motion. I was reluctant to leave my daughter, but I couldn’t remain in the dungeon forever. That was the one thing that was pitiable about the current situation. She might be in a dungeon now, but that meant she was trapped in that space. Unlike a dungeon master, a dungeon could never leave itself. Eliza had told me this herself. Her avatar had to remain in the dungeon at all times.

“I wonder if there is some way to create some kind of mobile dungeon.” Elaya and Astria stiffened when they heard me say that, but they didn’t say anything.

Perhaps a mobile dungeon would be a bit too terrifying. However, couldn’t artifacts hold dungeons, and those artifacts could be moved, so mobile dungeons already existed. Then, wouldn’t I just need some kind of golem? If we built a body like Terra’s, then embedded it with the dungeon core, it might just work! I’d need to talk to Terra about it later and see what she thought. Why did the idea feel like I was remembering something rather than thinking of it myself?

There were two setbacks to the golem idea. The first problem was that we didn’t have the level of skill necessary to build a golem like the original Terra. That kind of level of artifact building would need us to travel to Jespain. The second issue was that I would no longer have a dungeon. If Eliza had her own Eliza suite, I would lose my current dungeon. My only choice would be to build a new one from scratch, but they wouldn’t be a god soul or have a fairy spring or anything. I’d be starting from scratch. It was true I could create copies of the lore from one dungeon to the other, but the growth my dungeon experienced would be lost.

Eliza’s growth was a bit abnormal due to various circumstances, but a normal dungeon might take a hundred years to reach the level she had reached. Even if Astria helped me build a new fairy fountain and we repeated our steps, unless I went out and started challenging dungeons and consuming them, a new dungeon wouldn’t grow. Furthermore, any resources I spent on my new dungeon would be resources taken away from Eliza. It was truly a conundrum.

“It’s alright, daddy. I will always be here waiting for you.” Eliza gave me a beautiful smile that immediately caused my worries to dissipate.

I reached out a patted her head. “I want you to be happy Eliza. Don’t force yourself because of me. If you feel there is a problem, I will do everything to fix it. Okay?”

Her cheeks turned red. “Yes, daddy.”

“And I thought my former husband spoiled his daughter too much.” Elaya sighed.

“I worry he’ll become like that dad from the Illusory Sword Dungeon, feeding her daughter souls to make her happy,” Alysia added.

“Will you all stop it with the daughtercon stuff!”
