Bearswood Forest, Outside the Dungeon.

"Though we could wait here for a month, it'll be unproductive for us... I also want to return to Blackreach Throne to drink..."

"We could try go inside again tomorrow, maybe Mojo will just surrender himself if we could clear at least half of the skeletons inside."

Kaene listened to his friends' suggestion. It was true that only waiting outside was not a good idea, yet the thought that Mojo would hide the loot bag and just die inside still makes him think twice.

'Our gears are focus for ganking, not clearing the mobs... it'll be hard to clear it, especially most of us are using claws, even our healer was using nature staff for roots.'

'Damn Mojo! you should've at least gave me half of your coins, I'll even help you safely go to Sunscar Kingdom if you've done that, now it was too late.'

As the cackling of campfire slowly faded, Kaene covered himself with a blanket.

"Alright... we go again tomorrow. I cannot whisper Mojo, I was blocked by him... seems like we're not 'bestfriends' anymore." Kaene smirked.

Though it was hard, he already accepted the fact that he betrayed Mojomojo, and there was no forgiveness will be given.

'I've been greedy... and it's too late now to regret my decisions.'

"We take turns night watch..."

Kaene looked at the sky, staring at the rustling leaves of the towering trees, and blinking of the stars between its narrow spaces.

'Wh-what's that?'

As Kaene focused his eyes, he knew that what he saw was not a star.

Kaene slowly got up, waking his friends.

"I think it's better if we attack Mojomojo now, it's already midnight... maybe he was asleep... we will move slowly."

Though there were some disapproving grunts, they still followed Kaene inside the dungeon.

After knowing that all of his party were inside, he said;

"There's fucking Ninjas waiting outside... we fortify this dungeon... message Blackreach Throne Faction for retrieval."

Even if Kaene was blinded by greed, betraying Mojomojo, he would never betray himself, especially if it cost his life.

Atop the Towering trees, FrozenDonkey was woken up from one of his party that was on duty to watch the people outside the dungeon.

"What happened? Where are they?" he urged.

"They just went inside just now... though they seemed like they would go to sleep a while ago, they suddenly decided to go inside..."

Smiling, FrozenDonkey slid down the tree.

"Smart..." He stared inside the dungeon.

"Call the Guild... Since they didn't leave after noticing us... there's really something valuable inside..."

As midnight came, Dexter — along with Stella and the Numbers — stepped outside the dungeon.

Dexter stared toward where Bearswood Forest should have been, sighed, and commanded everyone to go home.

'Well, he said he could hold out for a week or two... So, he should expect two weeks from us.'

"Let's go! We need to sleep. Tomorrow, we continue training... this time with different equipment."

Riding their mounts, only the moonlight guided them on their journey back to the Sunscar Kingdom.

Unlike the players from Eldermere, who were active at night, Sunscar Kingdom players chose to be active even in the desert's burning noon heat — making it much safer for Dexter and his friends to return home at midnight.

Dexter then let the Numbers rest, but he and Stella proceeded to the Guild Hall, surprised to find Bright waiting inside.

"What brings you here?" Dexter asked.

Bright stood abruptly and bowed.

"We've already hunted down the guild leaders proven to be spying on us..."

He then took a paper from his pocket and handed it to Dexter.

Scanning the list, Dexter saw tens, nearly a hundred, guild names written on it.

"What's this?" Dexter asked before taking a seat.

"The guilds of the spies... We await your order: eradicate them or let them be."

Dexter rubbed his chin, then rested his head lazily on his palm.

"Stella... what do you think?"

Stella reached out for the paper, glanced at Dexter, and smiled.

"Place spies inside each guild... We take their information while feeding them false intel," she said, sitting on Dexter's lap.

"That's good. Though I already said something similar last time — I don't know why no one understood."

He stared at Bright, who was still bowing.

"Heed my command: Let Lunatic Princess manage the Alliance. Her decisions are my decisions. No one disobeys her... and treat her as royalty."

"Yes, Demon God's Vessel!"

"Oh… before you go." Dexter retrieved thousands of Transformation Rings from his bracers and placed them on the table.

"Take all of these. Distribute them to any members you deem worthy. The rings can transform the wearer into a demon… making it a new symbol of membership in the Demon God's Alliance."

Bright's eyes shone. He placed one on his finger and activated it, transforming into a Satyr.

"Ohhh…"

"Remember," Dexter added, "if anyone uses a ring without being part of the Demon God's Alliance, it will force them to suicide. So don't worry if one is stolen… unauthorized users won't survive activating it."

"Thank you, Demon God's Vessel!"

With a salute, Bright left the hall.

"You know, Stella, I don't get why they're so obsessed with this 'Demon' thing... Did your world have anything like demons?"

Stella smiled, reminiscing.

"Yes... It was similar to this world, but we had aura swordsmen, mages, and saints... I remember a dungeon outbreak where millions of monsters invaded the southern part of our kingdom. We prevailed, but it was believed demons controlled them — even though there was no news of a Demon King's revival."

Dexter almost laughed.

'Demon King, my ass... Stella really loves roleplaying her princess persona. Should I join in?'

"Were there any 'Heroes' in your world?" Dexter chuckled.

Stella was dead serious.

"No one was summoned after the last Human-Demon War... Why? Interested in being a hero?"

"Nope... I'm more interested in being the Demon God."

Stella laughed, wiping her teary eyes.

"I never thought I'd fall in love with a demon... in bed... Good thing it's just the bracers' transformation."

Dexter and Stella spent the night together, laughing over their experiences — though Dexter faked his stories, Stella's were genuine.

Unaware, a war between the Blackreach Throne and Eldermere Kingdom was slowly cooking.
