"Because your mom is dad’s little wife," Ye Qilan teased.

Su Hongxing pretended not to hear Ye Qilan’s teasing. Let him play by himself. Once he got tired of it, he naturally wouldn’t chase after her calling her a little wife.

Who knew this guy was quite perverse? Wherever he went, he insisted on taking her with him. Even when meeting clients, he specifically brought her and Little Pudding along. When introducing her to clients, he also kept calling her "little wife."

The clients’ ambiguous glances made her uncomfortable. She found an excuse, took Little Pudding away, and finally managed to breathe a sigh of relief.

After Ye Qilan finished meeting with the clients, he couldn’t see Su Hongxing and caught someone to ask where his little wife was. The staff exchanged glances with each other.

He didn’t seem like the typical big boss of a large corporation. Ye Qilan seemed eager to be tied to Su Hongxing, completely different from his usual domineering and cold style, which was very incongruous.

When Su Hongxing came out of the bathroom with Little Pudding, she heard Ye Qilan shouting "little wife" everywhere. Feeling exasperated, she hurried forward, "Ye Qilan, I’m here."

Please, stop calling me that, it’s really embarrassing!

"Little wife, where did you go?" Ye Qilan asked discontentedly when he saw Su Hongxing appearing.

"Do I have to report even going to the bathroom?" Su Hongxing saw they were being watched by others and pulled Ye Qilan back to the office.

Once they were alone, she said, "Later, don’t call me little wife anymore, it’s very awkward to hear." She thought he’d get tired of it after a while, but instead, he got more and more hooked on calling her that.

The whole company probably knew by now that she was Ye Qilan’s "little wife". Despite the fact, she was already thirty years old.

"Weren’t you the one who said you were my little wife?" Ye Qilan was nonchalant, insisting she was indeed his little wife.

Su Hongxing spent an hour explaining things to Ye Qilan, hoping he would change what he called her. Unfortunately, she ended up parched, and he stubbornly continued calling her little wife.

"If you keep calling me that publicly, I’ll tell another Ye Qilan to call me little wife too," Su Hongxing suddenly had an idea.

Ye Qilan got flustered upon hearing this, "Only I can call you little wife!"

"Then call me that in private, don’t call me that publicly, and I’ll let only you call me that, okay?" Su Hongxing felt confident this time.

After weighing the pros and cons, Ye Qilan finally compromised.

Having resolved things with Ye Qilan, Su Hongxing was very happy, "How about we go out for dinner tonight?"

"Candlelight dinner?" Ye Qilan’s eyes lit up.

Su Hongxing was momentarily speechless and instinctively glanced at their little daughter.

Little Pudding, seeing Su Hongxing looking at her, sweetly and adorably called out, "Mommy little wife."

Su Hongxing was caught between laughter and tears. She looked at Ye Qilan, "Look at what you’ve taught your daughter to say."

Ye Qilan was a bit upset hearing Little Pudding call Su Hongxing that. He then took Little Pudding aside and spent a long time explaining things to her before barely convincing her.

With Little Pudding being a little tag-along, Ye Qilan’s candlelight dinner plan didn’t pan out. Little Pudding stayed cuddled in Su Hongxing’s arms, enjoying her warmth and affection throughout.

Ye Qilan watched from the side, feeling a bit upset.

He stepped forward and took Little Pudding into his arms, "You’re so heavy, it’s tiring for mommy to hold you."

He hadn’t even enjoyed Su Hongxing’s warmth and tenderness, so why should Little Pudding get to?
