Claude can only shake his head. If he could help, he would. But currently, he is not in any position or power to do much. He can only absorb as much information as he can in this realm before trying to find the nearest human settlement.

His Master threw him into the wild on his own. He has to find the nearest town or city on his own. Fortunately, this realm is not a primitive realm anymore.

It has entered the void era and is not an unknown realm. While Claude cannot access the whole map of the realm on the internet, at the very least, he knows where to go.

"To the west it is" he muttered. The largest City and also its Capital of the realm was on the western side. If Claude wants to reach the capital, he must go westward.

Even if he doesn't reach the capital immediately, he would undoubtedly encounter other towns and cities by going west.

After all, the capital cannot possibly be in the middle of nowhere with no other towns or cities nearby, right?

Wanting to reach the closest human settlement, Claude waved his hand, and a floating skateboard appeared in front of him.

Looking at the floating skateboard, a smile formed on Claude's lips. This skateboard looks like something straight from a sci-fi series.

As an earthling, despite possessing magic, humanity has always been fascinated with technology. There are various sci-fi fictions, and people even want to replicate that high-end futuristic technology.

As such, Claude was also influenced by the culture of the Earth Realm, and with his master's wealth, he was able to own this flying board.

Depending on the realm's level, the suppression was different. In this realm, to fly freely, one must reach the Great Mage rank.

Of course, it doesn't mean that mages below the Great Mage rank cannot achieve flight. No, they actually can; they just need the assistance of either magic or external objects.

For example, a Senior Mage can make wings made from wind to temporarily achieve flight, or they can use a flying vehicle like flying sticks or even flying skateboards.

However, to really fly freely without the aid of magic or external objects, in the Eclipsion Realm, one must reach the Great Mage rank.

There are even realms where the suppression is so strong that even a weaker Noble Mage cannot fly freely on their own.

Not all realms are equal. Just look at the Earth Realm, even a 6th-cycle mage, equal only to the peak of Apprentice Rank, is enough to shatter the fabric of space.

In this realm, one must be at least at the higher cycles of the Great Mage to replicate it. Even the full power of a peak Senior Mage cannot achieve such a feat.

Claude stepped on the floating skateboard, and he controlled it. He didn't actually fly in the sky. No, that would be unwise and too dangerous.

If he is high in the sky, it would make him more vulnerable to attacks since he is out in the open.

Claude just used his flying skateboard to float above ground as a means of transportation for speed and convenience. Using the flying skateboard can be done by consuming one's own mana or using mana stones.

Claude opted to be extravagant and use mana stones as fuel to conserve his own mana. After all, he is to act alone as if he doesn't have any background or backing.

This didn't displease him, though, as he was a person who wanted to rely more on himself rather than the power behind him. This was true when he was still in the Earth Realm, and this is something that didn't change even now.

As Claude traversed the area filled with various vegetation akin to a primitive forest, his senses suddenly picked up danger.

He raised his head to see a volley of fire arrows flying at him. With a snort, he controlled the flying skateboard to dodge, and he flew higher.

However, in the next second, a figure appeared behind him.

"Gotcha!" The man said with a cruel tone. He leaped into the air while holding a burning spear, and he thrust it towards Claude.

If that weren't enough, there were also other mages who threw various elemental magic at him.

Facing attacks from all sides, Claude wasn't afraid in the slightest. "[Volt Chain!]" he said coldly and with a wave of his hand, arcs of electricity were released all around him.

The lightning paralyzed the man behind him, as well as destroying the elemental magic flying at him. His magic even has enough power to not only destroy the attacker's magic, but the lightning continues to travel in the air until it hits their bodies, paralyzing them as well.

With a single move, there were overall ten mages that fell on the ground with a thud. Lightning constantly flashed on their bodies, making it impossible for them to move.

Overall, three of these bandits were Senior Mages, while the rest were peak Junior Mages. The three Senior Mages were all at the first cycle, and since Claude was also only at that level, they thought that with their numerical advantage, along with the element of surprise, they could easily take down Claude.

Unbeknownst to them, they are simply walking towards their deaths. Even at the same rank, a mage could overpower several mages in the same realm.

As a genius mage who assimilated with a World Seed and possessed an Innate World, Claude's prowess defies common sense. Even when fighting with his sparring partner, who was a 4th-cycle Senior Mage, Claude was not using his full power. He still has a lot of trump cards.

If he can defeat a 4th-cycle Senior Mage, it was even easier for him to defeat a bunch of first-cycle Senior Mages and Junior Mages.

"Damn it!" The bandits cursed. They didn't expect that, despite their numbers, a single move was enough for what they thought was a fat lamb to render them immobile.

"S-sir! It w-was just a misunderstanding. P-please grant us mercy! W-we will not do this again!" One of the ten bandits pleaded, but Claude merely looked at them with an indifferent expression in his eyes

"I cannot prevent all evil in this world from appearing, but at the very least, I can eradicate evil like you" Claude said coldly.

From how these bandits acted, it was evident that this was not the first time they had ambushed people on the road.

Such scum is not worth living.

While Claude would prioritize his safety as the future of the Earth Realm relies on him as well as the expectations of his Master, it doesn't stop him from eliminating small fries.

Even if his actions cannot eradicate all evil or change the world, at the very least, killing some evil people would prevent some people from being their victims.

A penchant for the greater good. That has always been Claude's motto and personality.

In the end, he simply sent streaks of blood-red lightning to kill all the bandits. Their cries and pleas for mercy fell on deaf ears.

Killing these bandits was only a small incident for Claude, and it didn't cause even a small ripple in his heart.

He took the spatial rings of the bandits and threw the valuables into his own. He cannot always rely on his Master; he also wants to earn money and resources on his own.

The bandits were poor, especially compared to Claude's own wealth, but even a mosquito's meat is still meat. This was the first time that he 'earned' money on his own, despite how little it was.

Claude left the area and continued on his journey westward, but he only managed to travel for less than an hour when he suddenly found himself being attacked by bandits again.

This time, the bandit group was stronger than the first group he met. There were a actually five Senior Mages with one of them even reaching the third cycle.

Still, this was not a cause of fear for Claude. There is a large difference in strength between the early and mid stages. If Claude can defeat someone at the mid level of the Senior Rank, what more for a Senior Mage only at the third cycle?

At most, it would take a bit more effort but that was only it.

After defeating the second wave of bandits, he continue his journey. Soon, a frowned formed on his face.

This realm... there are too many bandits! It was hard to travel peacefully. Everywhere you go, there are bandits.

If one doesn't have enough strength, they are bound to become a victim. Getting robbed of all belongins would be a rather desirable outcome already.

If you are unlucky, you might get killed or even be kidnapped to be sold as a slave.

Just by staying in this realm for a few hours, Claude already witnessed how chaotic it was. There was almost no resemblance of order with bandits wrecking havoc everywhere
