While traveling the twentieth floor of the Dungeon of Balathar, Anton’s summons, led by his Valkyrie from the Amazon skill tree, decimated the dungeon monsters, but had to monitor the kills once in a while to make sure that his summons were not missing any important loot. When he noticed that his Valkyrie almost missed a high-level mana stone, he realized that he really couldn’t take away his attention from the summons, so he was forced to quit leveling up his Barbarian character and focus on dungeon diving.

Because he needed to monitor his summons, Anton got a little bored, so he joined in killing the monsters. After a while, though, he felt that he was just disturbing his summons in killing the monsters, so he left them alone.

The best solution he came up with was to ask his Valkyrie to get his attention the moment all the enemies died, so he could examine all the necessary loot that needed to be taken. At least, he could return to his Diablo II system and continue leveling up his ladder Barbarian. He couldn’t join a party, though, and had to play solo because whenever his Valkyrie interrupted his leveling up, he would have to park his character in a non-combat zone to check the loot, and that wouldn’t work in a party.

Anton didn’t even stop at noon for lunch because he wasn’t really tired. He spent all day sitting on top of his dire bear while his summons killed monsters and triggered traps. He only moved to store the loot that his summons gathered from the monsters. He ate while on the movie.

By the time evening came, after eating a quick dinner, he took a bath using his newly bought bathtub, and when he was done, he cleaned everything and lay his sleeping bag on the floor and slept while all of his summons guarded him.

He felt so comfortable that for a moment, he asked himself why he commissioned a tiny home to use inside the dungeon. Then he remembered that not all biodomes were the same. There were instances where the environment would have extreme circumstances. The weather could be in a snowy field or surrounded by lava on volcanic mountains. According to Tobias, there were even instances wherein monsters would try to ambush the resting adventurers. Anton was not afraid of that, since he did have powerful summons to guard him.

The next day, he completed the dungeon before noon. Before leaving the dungeon, he counted his loot. He received nine medium mana stones, two high mana stones, and the quest items for around fifteen gold-level quests. This time, though, he found a treasure chest. He knew that the items inside were from dead adventurers, so he felt a little like he was a grave digger.

The items were a sword, a shield, and a wand. He didn’t examine them since he felt icky about them. Anton planned to immediately sell them through the Adventurer Guild.

Anton knew that sooner or later, he would have to accept that the loot from the dungeon was part of the life of adventurers, and he should learn to use it, but the fact that he still considered the twentieth floor a low-level floor meant that the items were probably mediocre. He then thought of the fact that his father might be able to use them, or if not, maybe the family members that would arrive with him, so he decided to keep them in the house that he had just purchased.

He then thought of the fact that he was leaving his house without any guard. It was okay then because it didn’t have anything worth stealing, but since he was planning to store the items that he was going to get from the dungeons there, he would have to either hire guards or use magic. It was easier for Anton to just go to a magic shop and get an enchanted item, a magic array or magic guardian that would guard his house but he thought of the fact that someday, if they purchased a house or a manor large enough for the new family members, new people would be needed.

He would have to get used to people again, so he decided to hire a couple of guards and a maid who would clean and cook for him and the guards.

Regarding his ladder Barbarian, the hours he spent leveling it up inside the dungeon only allowed him to earn ten levels, due to the fact that he always stopped whenever his summons finished off a group of monsters. His ladder Barbarian character was now level twenty.

At the guild, he requested help from them again to sell his items, and the elven woman named Elianah was again the one who helped him.

According to Elianah, she was assigned to be his point of contact from then on. Anton admitted that he managed to acquire nine medium mana stones and two high mana stones from his delve, but was planning to keep the high mana stones for research.

Elianah said that she understood since he was an enchanter. She praised the magic item that she bought for him and told him that it was keeping her room very comfortable. Anton then told the lady all of the enchanted items that he had made, and Elianah purchased a Fire Wall stove, a Firebolt lantern, and an Ice Bolt cup that would fill the cup with water.

“Your items seemed to focus on easing the lives of people. Did you ever create something that one could use as a weapon or something that could defend people?” Elianah asked.

“I did and I still could, but I want to focus on items that would make people's lives better. Enchanted weapons and armor can be found anywhere, so I’m thinking that more of them were not that useful,” Anton replied.

Anton submitted the quest items for the completed gold-level quests, and after about an hour, Elianah returned with his guild bank card and informed him that his card contained a total of 27600 gold coins. The elven woman also informed him that his total completed gold-level quest was twenty-eight.

Elianah paid for the items that she bought from him separately, since Anton requested loose coins that he could use for his daily living. Even though Elianah told him that he could use his bank card for that, she did give him gold coins as payment for the enchanted items that he had created.

While Anton and Elianah were talking, Anton admitted to the elf that he was surprised at how lucrative dungeon diving was. The elf admitted to him that the twentieth floor was supposed to be delved by a group of no less than five people, and it would usually take those five people more than four days to complete it. That meant that normally, everything that a party gets from the floor would need to be earned in four days or probably more, and it would have to be split between the party members.

Elianah also informed him that his case wasn’t that rare. There were powerful people who arrived from somewhere that had to start from where he started, and it was normal for powerful people to have the capacity to earn a humongous amount of coins.

After their talk, Anton went to the nearest restaurant inside the kingdom to eat lunch. After he tasted an extremely nice lunch spread, he ordered an extremely large number of dishes that he wanted to store in his inventory. All of it cost him a huge amount of coins, totaling 200 gold coins, and for the first time, he used his Adventurer Guild bank card.

He felt like a rich man, waving his credit card around. The waiters also informed him where he needed to go to hire guards and maids for his house.
