Anton was extremely grateful that he didn’t have to touch the corpses of the kobold monsters that he had just defeated. His Telekinesis spell allowed him to harvest the quest items without going near the gory meat of the monsters. After all the quest items were harvested, he waited for the bodies of the monsters to disappear and harvested the mana stones that appeared. He stored everything in his inventory and moved on.

First, Anton made sure that all of his defensive spells that needed to be activated were refreshed, then he summoned one raven as his scout and one Spirit Wolf to walk before him to trigger the traps. He felt a little insecure about summoning a single wolf, so he summoned a second one. Anton was a bit flabbergasted at the considerable number of traps on the floor. Considering that this was only the 30th floor, he knew that the deeper floors would be much more dangerous in terms of traps.

As expected, when Anton started flying forward with the two wolves before him, one almost died because of the traps. He had to dismiss the wounded one and summoned a new one.

Suddenly, his raven informed him that it had arrived at a huge room or chamber. At first, Anton didn’t notice any enemies in the chamber, just a gigantic snake statue decoration. Then, when he looked at the snake statue a second time, it moved. The giant snake statue wasn’t a statue but some sort of Titanoboa. Anton double-checked the chamber’s every nook and cranny using the raven’s eyes, and there was only a single monster in that huge chamber, and it was an extremely huge snake.

Anton paused for a bit and thought about how he would fight the huge monster. The only thing that he could think of was to cast as many spells as he could while utilizing the Teleport spell and his Telekinesis to fly to avoid getting hit by the giant snake.

After deciding what he would do, Anton didn’t linger for too long and entered the chamber. He immediately cast Frozen Orb at the huge snake to slow it down. He then cast the Druid spell Hurricane and the Sorceress spell Blizzard to lower the temperature inside the chamber and to further slow down the giant monsters.

Anton cast Frozen Orb, Blizzard, and Lightning at the giant snake while the huge chamber was surrounded by the Hurricane that he summoned. The snake was so gigantic that even though it was severely slowed down by his cold spells, it finally reached him. The huge snake lunged at him, intending to swallow him whole. It didn’t matter that Anton was flying since the snake, due to its sheer size, was able to reach even the topmost part of the room.

As every Diablo gamer knew, it was extremely difficult to pinpoint a Sorceress who mastered the Teleport skill, so the moment the snake thought that Anton was cornered, he simply teleported far enough away from the giant monster and continued casting his Frozen Orb spell, Blizzard spell, and with the Lightning spell added for good measure. He also didn’t stop casting the Hurricane spell because the spell not only seemed to confuse the snake, but it also added to the cold damage it was receiving.

Anton then cast several Hydras because, from what he had read before, combining ice spells with fire spells would make some monster’s defense brittle or something like that. He wasn’t sure since he wasn’t studious enough to learn such sciency stuff.

The Hydra’s Firebolts annoyed the giant snake, that the monster attacked the Hydras that Anton summoned, but since the Hydra spell was not an actual creature but just a manifestation of three headed hydra monster made out of fire, so when the giant snake tried to swallow the hydras, they just disappeared and when the snaked moved out of the way, the hydras reappeared and continued to spew out firebolts until the spell duration ended.

The giant snake noticed that the hydras were not actual creatures, so it turned its attention back to Anton. It hurriedly slithered to Anton to attack him, even though it was still slowed severely by the cold spells that he hadn’t stopped casting. When the snake neared Anton, he simply teleported away from the monsters and continued his unrelenting casting of his spells. The humongous snake looked furious that Anton kept escaping its giant mouth, and the only thing it could do was to try and hurry up to capture the annoying fly that was hurting it.

With Anton teleporting all over the place and never stopping to cast his spells, the giant snake fell after a few minutes. Anton tagged the giant snake with the dungeon key since he was sure that it had a lot of parts that could be submitted as quest items. He quickly checked the book that Elianah gave him regarding the items that he could harvest from monsters. It stated that snake monsters' teeth, gall bladder, skin, and blood.

While he was harvesting all that he could from the giant monster using his Telekinesis, Anton heard some grinding noises. He then saw an alcove opening in one of the chamber’s corners, and then a treasure chest appeared. After he was done with the snake, he waited for the dungeon to dissolve the giant snake and stored the mana stone that appeared after the corpse was gone.

Anton went to the chest and checked what kind of items he received. There were five items in the chest. One sword, one shield, one greaves, one robe, and one shoes. He supposed that the robe was for a mage, and the shoes could either be for Thieves or Mages. All of the items were glowing, conveying the fact that they were powerful items.

Anton stored everything in his inventory, but he knew that he would keep the showiest items for mages and would probably use them for cosmetic purposes when he was roaming outside the mini-town that hosted the Corridors of Amuneta.

Of course, he wasn’t one hundred percent sure that he would follow through in wearing the items, since maybe the most powerful adventurers wore subtle, understated items. Anton laughed at himself for thinking such silly things, so after storing all of the items, he left the chamber to continue with his adventure on the 30th floor of the Corridors of Amuneta.

Anton flew forward after the two spirit wolves that he summoned, while a raven scouted ahead. The raven then informed him that it stumbled into a closed big gate. Based on what he saw using the raven’s eyes, more than likely, he would need to solve a puzzle to enter it.

It took a while before he arrived at the gate since his two wolves triggered a lot of traps. The number of traps was so exaggerated that he was sure normal adventurers would probably die if they encountered them.

Even though Anton was not good at solving puzzles, he wasn’t worried. He had access to the internet, and that meant that he had the means to ask for assistance from the netizens regarding difficult puzzles, but when he checked the gate’s puzzle, it was a simple one. There were three indicators on the floor before the gate that people needed to stand on, and different elemental magic would attack the person standing on the indicator. The three people needed to survive the magical attack for how long the gate required before the gate would open.

He realized this by commanding a spirit wolf to stand on one of the indicators. Anton saw that the wolf was attacked by a stream of fire from the holes in the gate. The second indicator’s elemental attack was ice, and the third was lightning.
