Anton thought of his recent fight against the first monsters that he encountered on the 40th floor of the Corridors of Amuneta dungeon. With his power, he could still cope with the enemies on the floor. As a matter of fact, he didn’t even receive any damage that worried him, and the only increase in difficulty was the length of time he finished off the monsters.

He felt that he had been underestimating himself because of his rank as only an archmage. Anton knew that he shouldn’t be using the ranking system of this world because he felt that he was more powerful compared to other mages who had the same rank as him. He even felt that he could probably contend with Supreme Wizards. Of course, he didn’t have any idea if that was true. It was just his gut feeling. He wondered why the ranking stone kept him in the archmage rank. How did the ranking stone measure a mage’s rank anyway? Was it the amount of mana or energy a wizard had, or was it the number of spells that a wizard memorized? He had no idea.

Maybe once Anton’s Energy stats increased, then the stone might rank him as a Supreme Wizard. Ultimately, it didn’t matter to him even if his rank remained at the Archmage status as per the ranking stone, since the most important thing was for him to be able to fight.

Anton then wondered how other classes of this world rank themselves. He knew that there were countless different classes, as said by every knowledgeable person he had met. The only classes that he had met were the assassins who targeted them.

Then he remembered that he had met adventurers who had the basic classes like warriors, thieves, and archers in the area around the Beginner Dungeon.

Slightly perusing the mana stones he received, Anton was not surprised that most of them were high-level stones. It was expected that the deeper floors of the high-level dungeons would yield the highest mana stones and the most powerful items. Maybe Torbin was correct that it was time for him to find a way to store the enchanted items that he had been getting from the dungeon. If Anton was being honest, there was really no need for him to store the items in the house. He could have let the items remain in his inventory. It was just that he didn’t want so many items cluttering his inventory, even though his inventory space was humongous.

Anton decided he would talk to his guards when he returned after his dungeon diving regarding the enchanted items that he had been keeping at the house. He didn’t want to endanger anyone because of those items. It would have been better if he had sold the items, but he thought that his father might be able to use them.

He had an inkling that his father would not continue as a businessman but instead might continue as either an adventurer or a mercenary. Anders might even form a team of his own to delve into the dungeon. Or his father might even just want to retire. Either way, he would just let his father be whatever he decided, and Anton would just continue to support his family.

Anton did believe that his father wouldn’t choose to retire and live his life as an idle rich man. Their family had encountered severe losses from the undead, and just like him, his father might be full of vengeful thoughts against the Undead Coalition. Their country did fell to the undead, and his father’s harem was killed by them as well.

After everything was cleaned up by Anton, he looked into the door where the ghosts came from, thinking that it was the way forward, but the doorway just led into an empty room. That meant that the door that he chose led into a dead end.

He dispelled all of his summons except for the five Spirit Wolves, who would trigger the traps for him, and the five Ravens, who would scout ahead. Anton then returned to the hall where the two doors were located. He knew that the way forward would probably be the door to the right.

When Anton opened the door, there was a very long hallway behind it. He commanded the ravens and the wolves to move forward. As expected, the hallway was full of traps. There were even traps above that the ravens had inadvertently triggered. He had to activate his Cleansing Aura to heal the ravens and the wolves.

The next hall led into a huge room with two doors again. This time, Anton opened the door to the right. There was a stair leading down behind the door that he selected. He commanded his summons to go down, then flew after them.

Anton saw through the eyes of his Ravens that the next challenge seemed to be in a massive prison where prisoners were kept. There were ten prison cells and a huge monster seated behind a large desk. The monster looked like a huge, fat zombie cobbled together from different corpses. It was grotesque to look at, and Anton had a momentary urge to vomit.

The moment Anton entered the prison, ten zombies emerged from the ten cells. The prisoner zombies were not the slow, stumbling zombies. Instead, their movement were so agile that if they didn’t look grotesque, Anton would not believe that they were zombies.

All ten zombies, including the gigantic one, immediately ran towards him. Anton was a little startled, but he did summon all of his summons to meet the undead. Five Dire Wolves, five Spirit Wolves, five Ravens, one Clay Golem, his Valkyrie, and his Shadow Master collided with the eleven zombies.

Anton activated his Fanaticism Aura to make sure that his summons were at their peak, and then he observed the fight. He saw that all of the zombies, including the boss one, were pure physical monsters. The monsters were powerful, but so were Anton’s summons. If his summons became severely damaged, he would switch to the Cleansing Aura; otherwise, he kept the Fanaticism aura to make sure that his minions remain powerful.

He remained at the back assisting his summons by casting single-target spells toward the zombies. He did focus his attention on the warden, whom Anton assumed was the boss of this room.

Anton, his Valkyrie, and his Shadow Master were dealing with the warden while the rest of the summons dealt with the other ten zombies. As expected, with him and two of his most powerful summons fighting the warden, the boss monster fell soon after. Then Anton and his Valkyrie and Shadow Master assisted the ten wolves, the golem, and the five ravens in dealing with the rest of the zombies.

Anton had to admit that he had all the advantage when dealing with pure physical enemies. When all of the zombies fell, he immediately tagged the corpses of the monsters with his dungeon key. He then dispelled everyone, excluding the five Spirit Wolves and the Ravens, who he commanded to check every inch of the prison to make sure that there were no traps left.

When he felt assured that the entire prison was safe, he checked his guild book and was informed that he shouldn’t have bothered tagging the zombies since there were no body parts that he could harvest that he could submit.

He did see that there were two chests under the table that the warden was using, and the monsters yielded mostly high-level mana stones. Anton stored everything in his inventory and proceeded to look for the way forward. When he saw none, Anton sighed and knew that he had to return to the previous room to select the door to the left.
