Chapter 633

Anton cast his Blizzard spell, which was converted into Mana Rain after he freshened up upon waking. As expected, after a few minutes, Mr. Jenkins arrived with his breakfast, followed by Anders.

“Father, you’re back!” Anton stated the obvious.

Anders joined him for breakfast. The sound of the mana rain hitting the garden brought a soothing vibe to Anton’s room. The father and son enjoyed the calming environment while enjoying the breakfast that was prepared for them by Ms. Noria. Because of the enjoyment they were having, the two did not talk and just kept eating while looking at the garden, which was in bloom all year round.

“Will your garden still be in bloom during winter?” Anders asked his son, and Anton just shrugged, not knowing the answer.

“According to Mr. Rodri, even if Ormunda is covered in snow, the garden and the orchard would forever remain in bloom and clear of snow, as if they’re stuck in the middle of spring. According to the elven man, the mana that would be emitted from the garden and the orchard grounds would melt the snow right away, not because of heat, but because of magic. But that would only remain as long as Anton kept raining mana water towards the garden and the orchards,” Mr. Jenkins said while waiting by the side.

Anton felt a little pity because he liked the colors of autumn, and it would have been nice to see the garden and the orchard wearing the mantle of the Fall season. But then again, he could always see the colors of autumn anywhere else.

While they were eating, Raymond informed Anton and Anders that there was a small field between the gardens and the fruit orchard that had been receiving mana rain as well, and the gardeners would like to turn it into a tiny wheat field. They thought that since the mana rain allowed produce to grow extremely fast, the tiny field would yield an abundant amount of wheat. The gardeners also had an inkling that any grains that came from a mana-rich field, however small the field was, would produce extremely delicious food.

Anton’s father told Raymond to allow the gardeners to convert that small and into a grain field. They could use any of the buildings in the manor that were not in use as storage for the produce.

Anton and Anders were not worried about the logistics of that field because Raymond was competent enough to know what to do.

Once breakfast was done, the butler left with the cutlery. Anders was about to leave when Anton told his father to stay since they had something significant to discuss.

When the butler left, Anton's expression became excited.

“Father, there is a major update that happened to my bloodline magic! Remember the classes that I told you about that I have access to because of my bloodline magic?”

“A little. You mentioned that you have access to the skills or wizards, paladins, and even the frightful necromancers,” Anders said grimly.

Anton then refreshed his father about the seven classes that he had access to.

“The reason I’m telling you this is because every year, my bloodline magic would allow me to assign a class to a second person. The assigned class would not affect that person’s original class. For example, I can assign you the Paladin or the Barbarian class, and you would have access to the skills of the said classes. You know my skills, Father. They’re extremely powerful! I plan to assign a class to you. I’ve written the details of the seven classes. Go ahead and study them so you can choose what class you want to receive.” Anton then gave the papers that he spent time writing the details of each of the classes and their skills.

Anders looked thrilled with the information that Anton told him. Anton’s father immediately started reading the papers that Anton wrote. During the next several hours, Anton had to stay with Anders to explain the skills of each of the classes. He even had to show videos of the game to his father so that his father would understand the details of the skills.

When noon arrived, they did not even join the family for lunch and stayed in Anton’s room. They asked Raymond to tell everyone not to disturb them. They ate food from Anton’s inventory.

“I’m torn between the Barbarian, the Druid, and the Paladin! What do you recommend?” Anders asked.

“Father, I want you to choose the class that you think will help you best. The good thing about the class is, you can reset the skills once a week, so you can experiment with the skill tree of the class that you would choose. For example, if you choose the Druid Class, this week you can specialize in being a Druid Caster. Next week, you can focus on becoming a werebear or a werewolf shapeshifter, and then the week after that, you can specialize in summoning. It’s the same with all the classes. Regarding leveling up the class, you can only do so inside the dungeon. AT least it would be easier for you to level up the class since you will be supported by your first class and the legendary gears that I’ve given you. Now, regarding which class, you can choose whatever you want, but remember that ultimately, our enemy is the Undead Coalition, and the Paladin class is the antithesis of the undead,” Anton told his father.

Anders then requested again to see the videos of the skills of the Paladin Character while asking for the details of the skills. Anton explained everything that he could, like skill synergies. He also showed Anton the different builds that players had made in the history of Diablo II, reiterating the fact that the build was against mindless monsters.

After showing the details of the Paladin character to Anders, Anton thought that his father would stop then and choose the said character, but then Anders asked Anton to show him the details of each of the characters again, even including the Necromancer character.

They finally stopped when the sun had set and joined the family for dinner. Luna and Alfred asked Anton for the next episodes of Avatar, which he promptly gave them. Anton also asked Mr. Jenkins for any news from Ormunda regarding their next plan against the Undead Coalition, but unfortunately, the government was still in the process of creating the said plan.

After dinner, Anton expected Anders to have chosen a class already, but was surprised when his father said that he was still undecided and would take the next few hours to check everything again.

Anton just shrugged and went to his room to rest. He slept early because he had not slept for twenty-four hours due to the excitement of the update on his Diablo II system.

The next time he woke up, it was already morning. He cast his Blizzard spell, turned to Mana Rain toward the garden and the orchard, and soon, Raymond arrived with breakfast, followed by Anders. While they were eating, Anton’s father told him that he had chosen to get the Paladin class.

“Another thing I forgot to tell you, Father. If you truly regret the class, I can retrieve it from you and assign you a new one next year. The downside is that the time spent leveling up the class would be wasted, and you would have to start from level one again.”

Anders’s eyes lit up when he heard about his son’s ability to change the class, but dimmed when Anton’s father heard that he would not be able to retain the level.
