She brought up Pardofelis, the shop owner of the Realm,

and said that Felis might be able to help Mei find Raven.

Thus, under Elysia's guidance, Mei met the thirteenth Flame-Chaser—

Pardofelis, the Signet of Reverie.

"One thousand one hundred thirteen…"

"One thousand one hundred fourteen…"

"Wow, that's a lot of silver coins. How long am I going to have to count for?!"

The cat's greedy nature was obvious from just this short opening line.

It seemed that even though she had just appeared, Pardo had already built up a fair amount of popularity.

"That little cat tail of Felis's swishing back and forth is so cute."

"Pardo really does give off a cute vibe."

Playing the game, Kiana looked at the catgirl's standing artwork on the screen and felt the same as Elysia.

After a few more story segments, she voiced a second thought:

"Pardo seems easy to talk to—different from those riddle-spouting folks in the Realm."

"It looks like our adorable Felis has already won Kiana's favor," Elysia said with a mischievous smile.

Then she paused for a moment before adding,

"Mm… maybe it's also because Kiana has cat attributes, so she and Felis share a resonance?"

"I remember 'nekocharm' means cat magic, right?"

"…Ah, thinking back to the old Kiana, it really is nostalgic."

"…"

"After everything that's happened, you're bound to grow," Kiana thought for a moment and replied softly.

"But, if possible, I still hope everyone could live happily and carefree, just like in St. Freya."

"But…"

"All right, all right, let's not talk about that."

Elysia deliberately cut Kiana off.

"The topic's gotten a little strange, and that's no good."

"Let's focus on savoring the Elysian Realm's story. What kind of wonderful adventures will Mei experience next? Very exciting, isn't it?"

"No matter how the main story was before, at least the Elysian Realm is a story that can make people happy."

No wonder some players, even though always mentally prepared for the pink-haired scoundrel to stab them in the back, still fell for her sweetness.

There were even many who had originally been drawn in by other Flame-Chasers in the Realm,

but gradually became her fans.

Still, though she thought that way, Kiana wasn't going to answer like that and inflate Elysia's ego.

"Elysia may play a big part in the Elysian Realm's story,

but the other Flame-Chasers can't be ignored either—the Realm is the stage for all thirteen."

"So, let's watch how Pardo performs next."

Kiana continued clicking through the story.

By now, Mei had finished greeting Pardo and began asking about Raven.

Unfortunately, even the self-proclaimed information broker Felis had no idea where Raven was.

But she said that she was great at "roaming" around the Realm,

and as it happened, her cat partner "Canned Food" had recently gone missing too.

So she suggested teaming up with Mei to search for both Raven and Canned Food.

Before setting out, she gave Mei the Signet of Reverie.

"In life, everything is but a Reverie—coming and going in haste.

Since that's the case, why not live more freely?

It's just a dream, after all—be bolder… what could it hurt?"

After receiving the Reverie Signet—a name entirely a neta reference to someone else—

Mei and Pardo headed into the depths of the Realm.

Along the way, they experienced many battles big and small,

but Pardo only watched from the side every time,

never making a move to help.

"Pardo, are you really just going to watch like this?"

"Big Sis Mei, I'm just a shopkeeper. Fighting really isn't my strong point."

This answer left both Mei and the players helpless.

[I feel like I've heard this before… When Mei first teamed up with Raven, didn't Raven say something similar?]
