Back to the plot—Kosma refused to let Mei and Raven go any deeper, while they refused to back off.

Both sides stared each other down.

The tension grew thicker.

Just as a fight was about to break out, Pardofelis suddenly intervened.

With Kosma standing firm and Pardofelis "negotiating" in the middle—

"I really don't wanna pick a fight with that many people at once… A-Mo, Snake-sis, Sakura-sis, Bro Kalpas, Miss Nyia… maybe even Boss Kevin…"

"I'd die. Seriously, I'd die. Absolutely not happening!"

"So… let's listen to A-Mo this time and go back for now, okay? You two can find Elysia and ask her what's really going on. Right?"
