"Actually... sir... that one’s the last unit in stock."

The salesman walked over to the car, and looked at it like a proud father.

"This is a Vireon X10. She comes with a Twin-turbo V10 engine. 1,150 horsepower. Goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds with a top speed of 400."

"But all along sitting inside, you will have one of the smoothest and quietest rides."

Then the salesman opened the door.

"The interior is made with Obsidian leather and the seats are stitched with real gold thread. Along with that it has OLED panels, and biometric control."

"And the body is all..."

"This is all very good, but..." The silver-haired girl interrupted the salesman with the sweetest of smiles, but one could feel the disappointment in her eyes.

"Huh..." She gave a soft sigh, pressing a hand gently to her chest as she looked at Lucius with big blue eyes.

"Ummm..." she said, her voice gentle, and sadness all over her face, "I really liked this car. Like, really liked it.

"But since you were the first one to choose it..." she wiped the non-existent tears in her eyes, "I guess it’s yours. It wouldn’t be right to fight over it."

And not just the system, even Lucius and the salesman could tell that she was acting. In fact, she wasn’t even trying to hide it. Her fake sadness was so exaggerated, it almost felt like a performance.

But it looked adorable. Lucius chuckled seeing her act that way.

"Well then," he said, still smiling, "Give the car to the beautiful lady, and show me something else."

But before the salesman could respond, the girl squealed and jumped in delight, and her "robe" bounced along with her. Without hesitation, she reached forward and pulled Lucius’s cheeks like he was a cute little kid.

"You really mean it?!" she asked with a wide grin.

Lucius raised his eyebrows, amused, "I do," he said.

He turned to the salesman again, rubbing his cheeks, "Find me another ride. Something just like this."

But before the salesman could take a step, the girl waved her hand quickly.

"No, no, no. Wait," she said. Her tone had turned a bit more serious now, though her eyes still sparkled with playfulness.

"I don’t feel right taking something you liked first. Even if you are being a gentleman, I would feel guilty in my heart."

She walked around the car slowly, her silver hair flowing behind her like silk in the wind. She stopped right in front of Lucius.

"So here’s a better idea," she said, folding her arms across her chest.

"You keep the car," She paused for a second, watching his reaction. And indeed her words made Lucius frown a bit.

"Now don’t look at me as if I am some deranged person, hehehe..." she added with a playful pout, "Instead, to make it up to me for breaking my little heart, you can take me out to dinner."

Lucius raised an eyebrow. The salesman blinked rapidly, stunned.

It was clear to everyone what was going on. The beautiful girl didn’t really want to buy the car, or maybe she did not care.. She was looking for an excuse. An excuse to get close to Lucius. And she was being bold about it.

The salesman stood there looking between Lucius and the girl’s big breasts, envy pouring out of his eyes.

"Well," he said, nodding his head in approval, "if it helps your broken heart... dinner it is."

The girl smiled brightly, like she had just won something.

"Perfect," she said, "You won’t regret it."

"I definitely won’t for sure," Lucius turned back to the salesman, who was still standing there, confused and very, very jealous.

"Let’s finish this quickly. Do all the paperwork, and tell me the final price," Lucius said.

The salesman blinked again, regaining his senses, "Uh, yes sir. Of course. The Vireon X10 starts at 1.45 million. With the custom package you are looking at, the final price comes to somewhere around 1.57 million including tax."

Lucius scratched his chin, "Hmm. That’s a bit more than I expected."

"Sir?"

Lucius glanced back at the car, "Let’s make it 1.3 million flat," Lucius said.

The salesman looked like he had been hit in the gut, "Sir, that’s... a very big drop. I am afraid we can’t go that low."

Lucius shrugged, "That’s alright. I will just go across the street. I saw a bunch of other cars there. Not as pretty, but decent."

The salesman panicked slightly. He looked at the woman, who raised her eyebrows and smiled sweetly, "I am not buying it. The gentleman has his eyes set on it. So count me out."

"Sir..." The salesman said quickly, "Let me speak to my manager."

He rushed off for a moment, then returned a few minutes later, looking resigned, "Sir, we can offer it to you at 1.38 million."

Lucius gave him a half-smile, "One point three five and I pay now in full."

The salesman sighed. He didn’t want to lose the sale, "Deal," he said.

Lucius nodded, "Good. Let’s get this over with."

The paperwork was quick. Lucius handed over a copy of his ID that Iris got for him and signed a few forms.

"And how will you be paying, sir?" the salesman asked, "Card or cheque?"

Lucius smiled, "Neither."

He bent down, and with a quick thought, he pulled out a black duffle bag from the System Inventory. He placed it on the counter.

"Cash," he said simply.

The salesman’s jaw dropped slightly, "C-Cash? Where did you pull this out from?"

Lucius grinned as he unzipped the bag. Neatly packed bundles of notes were stacked inside, crisp and new, "Magic."

The girl looked impressed. She whistled softly, "I didn’t make the wrong choice," she said.

Lucius zipped the bag back and smiled at the salesman.

"Count it. I will wait."
